Pip: Goedemorgen u spreekt met Pip Maas. Ik heb heel erg pijn aan een kies. Kan ik alstublieft snel langskomen?
Tandartsassistente: Staat u hier ingeschreven?
Pip: Nee, ik woon in Engeland, ik heb uw adres gekregen van èèn van uw patiënten, Lukas, een vriend van mij.
Tandartsassistente: OK, komt u maar onmiddellijk langs dan maken we wel even ruimte voor u. Hebt u het adres?
Pip: Dat is heel aardig van u. Dank u wel. Ik neem nu een taxi en dan ben ik er over 15 minuten, hoop ik. Nogmaals heel veel dank.
Pip: Is het goed als ik contant betaal?
Tandartsassistente: Geen enkel probleem.

Pip: Good morning my name is Pip Maas. I have a molar that really hurts. Could I please come over quickly?
Dentist's assistant: Are you registered here?
Pip: No I live in England. I got your address from one of your patients, Lukas, he's a friend of mine.
Dentist's assistant: OK, why don't you come immediately? We'll somehow manage to make some space for you. Do you have the address?
Pip: That's very kind of you. Thank you very much. I will take a taxi and be there in fifteen minutes, I hope. Again many thanks.
Pip: Is it alright if I just pay you cash?
Dentist's assistant: Yes, no problem at all.

Marleen: Daar denk ik niet over na. De Fransen eten ook veel kaas. Kaas is lekker, alle zuivelproducten zijn lekker.
Paul: Jullie gebruiken ook veel zuivel. Niet alleen melk en kaas, maar ook vla en yoghurt.
Marleen: Vergeet de karnemelk niet.
Paul: Zie je wel, jullie staan 's morgens op en drinken melk.
Marleen: Misschien kan ik je overhalen om meer zuivel te eten.
Paul: Mij haal je niet over. Schenk mijn kopje maar vol met koffie.
Marleen: Ik kan je kopje ook volschenken met melk.
Paul: Nee, dank je.

Paul: No, thank you. I can see that you're making a cheese sandwich. I'm just thinking about how much cheese you guys eat.
Marleen: I don't think about that. The French also eat a lot of cheese. Cheese is tasty. All dairy products are tasty.
Paul: You guys also consume a lot of dairy-not only milk and cheese, but also vla and yogurt.
Marleen: Don't forget buttermilk.
Paul: You see, you guys get up in the morning and drink milk.
Marleen: Maybe I can persuade you to eat more dairy.
Paul: You won't persuade me. Fill my cup up with coffee.
Marleen: I can also fill your cup up with milk.
Paul: No, thank you.
