Keresem az utam - Ákos

Ákos több mint húsz éve szinte évente szállítja a slágereket. A Keresem az utam (2000) című dal az egyik legismertebb ezek közül. A popdal egy lírainak induló, majd a végére felpörgő szerzemény. Szerelmes számok közé is sorolják, valójában azonban útkeresésről, a világban való boldogulásról szól. Elgondolkodtató, mégis roppant populáris.

Ákos a magyar popzene igen termékeny alakja, énekes, zeneszerző és költő, az utóbbi években politikai aktivista is. A nyolcvanas években indult a rendkívül népszerű szintipop együttes, a Bonanza Banzai alapítójaként és frontembereként. Az együttesnek kilenc albumot szerzett és énekelt, majd a banda '94-es feloszlása után szólókarrierbe fogott. A banda iránti hisztérikus rajongás immár a Ákos felé irányult.

Dalai jellemzően pop-rock szerzemények, jellegzetességük Ákos egyedi, költői szövegvilága. Eddig huszonnégy magyar és hat angol nyelvű albumot készített, az országban megjelentek többsége aranylemez is lett. Országjáró turnéin, koncertjein mindig teltház van. Kevés zenész mondhatja el magáról, hogy hullámvölgyek nélkül, ilyen termékeny módon és töretlen sikerrel tud zenélni több mint 20 évig. Saját stúdiója és lemezkiadója van, ahol kompromisszumok nélkül tud dolgozni.

A popzene mellett igazi polihisztorként videoklipeket rendez, verseket ír; már öt verseskötete jelent meg. Több színháznak komponált már zenét, hangoskönyvet is adott ki.

Az utóbbi években a politikai életben is láthatjuk, a jobboldal mellett kampányolt. Konzervatív nézeteit nem rejti el, negyven fölött már zenéjében is egyre inkább teret kapnak olyan témák, mint a hit, a hazaszeretet vagy a család fontossága. Rajongói szerint a leghitelesebb magyar előadó, támadói szerint túl sok a nagy szó és a pátosz a zenéjében. Akárhogy is, senki sem tagadhatja fontosságát, ezt bizonyítja, hogy 2002-ben a Magyar Köztársasági Érdemrend Tisztikeresztjével tüntették ki.

Keresem az utam – Ákos

The singer Ákos has been delivering hits yearly for twenty years. "Keresem az utam" (2000) is one of the most well-known songs. This pop song starts out lyrical, then picks up speed towards the end. It is also considered to be a love song, but it is actually about finding your path in life and searching for happiness in the world. A profound yet crowd-pleasing song.

Ákos is a productive person in the pop scene; he's a singer, lyricist and poet, recently a political activist. He started out as the lead singer of the synthpop band Bonanza Banzai, which he founded in the eighties. He scored and sang nine albums, than started a solo career after the band dissolved. The sometimes hysterical love for the band turned towards the singer.

His works are predominantly pop-rock songs, distinct for Ákos' unique poetic lyrics. He's released 24 Hungarian and 6 English albums, most of the ones released in Hungary went gold. His tours around the country always see sold out concerts. Not many musicians can claim such a productive and successful career that's been going on for more than 20 years without setbacks. He has his own studio and record label, where he can work without compromise.

Besides pop music he is a real polymath, directing music videos and writing poems; he's already published five books of poetry. He's composed music for theaters and published audiobooks.

Recently he's appeared on the political stage campaigning for the right wing. He does not hide his conservative views, being over forty, there's more and more space given to topics like faith, nationalism or the importance of family. His fans say that he is the most credible [...]
