อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ จังหวัดนครราชสีมา

อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่ เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติแห่งแรกของประเทศไทย และได้รับการประกาศให้เป็นมรดกโลกทางธรรมชาติ จากองค์การยูเนสโก มีอาณาเขตครอบคลุม 4 จังหวัด คือ จังหวัดสระบุรี จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี และ จังหวัดนครนายก อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่มีเนื้อที่ปกคลุม 2,168 ตารางกิโลเมตร ประกอบด้วยป่าเบญจพรรณ ป่าดงดิบแล้ง ป่าดงดิบชื้น ป่าดิบเขา และทุ่งหญ้า มีพืชพรรณกว่า 3,000 ชนิด มีนก 250 ชนิด และสัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนม 67 ชนิด

อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่มีอากาศที่เย็นสบายตลอดทั้งปี อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยตลอดปีประมาณ 23 องศาเซลเซียส ช่วงฤดูฝนเป็นช่วงที่เหมาะแก่การมาเที่ยวพักผ่อนและประกอบกิจกรรมต่างๆ อย่างมาก เพราะมีน้ำมากและอากาศก็เย็นสบาย

อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาใหญ่มีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวทางธรรมชาติมากมายให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้มาสัมผัส เช่น น้ำตกเหวนรก ซึ่งเป็นน้ำตกที่ใหญ่ที่สุด น้ำตกเหวสุวัต น้ำตกสาริกา แก่งหินเพิง จุดชมทิวทัศน์เขาเขียว หอดูสัตว์มอสิงโต และหอดูสัตว์หนองผักชี

มีกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจมากมายที่นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถทำได้ เช่น การเดินป่า มีเส้นทางการเดินป่าหลายเส้นทางตั้งแต่ง่ายไปจนถึงยาก ใช้เวลาตั้งแต่ 1 ชั่วโมง จนถึง 4 วัน เส้นทางส่วนใหญ่ควรจะมีไกด์นำทางเพื่อความปลอดภัย การล่องแก่ง หรือการพายเรือคายัคก็เป็นอีกกิจกรรมหนึ่งที่น่าสนใจ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการส่องสัตว์ตอนกลางคืน การไปดูสัตว์ที่หอดูสัตว์หนองผักชี หรือหอดูสัตว์มอสิงโตในตอนเช้า เช่ารถจักรยานขี่รอบๆ อุทยานแห่งชาติ และการเดินป่าเพื่อดูรอยเท้าไดโนเสาร์ ซึ่งต้องใช้เวลาเดินป่า 4 วัน

นักท่องเที่ยวจะต้องเสียค่าผ่านประตูก่อน 40 บาทสำหรับคน ไทย 400 บาทสำหรับชาวต่างชาติที่เป็นผู้ใหญ่ และ 100 บาทสำหรับชาวต่างชาติที่เป็นเด็ก

นักท่องเที่ยวอาจจะเดินทางมาเที่ยวแบบไปเช้า-เย็นกลับหรือ ค้างคืนที่บ้านพักหรือเต้นท์ก็ได้ ทางอุทยานแห่งชาติมีบ้านพัก และเต้นท์ให้เช่า แต่ต้องติดต่อและจองที่พักก่อนล่วงหน้า หรือนักท่องเที่ยวสามารถนำเต้นท์มาเองก็ได้ แต่ต้องเสียค่าธรรมเนียม 30 บาท

Khao Yai National Park, Nakhon Ratchasima

Khao Yai National Park is Thailand is the first national park and it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which expands 4 provinces: Saraburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, and Nakhon Nayok. Covering 2168 sq km, Khao Yai includes mixed deciduous forest, evergreen rainforest, semi-evergreen rainforest, hill evergreen forest, and savannah. Khao Yai also has more than 3,000 plant species, 250 bird species, and 67 mammal species.

The weather here is quite nice and cool all year round with the temperature of 23 degrees in average. Rainy season is a perfect time to come and enjoy activities because of lots of water and cool temperature.

Khao Yai National Park has many attractions for tourists to enjoy such as Haew Narok Waterfall, the biggest waterfall in the Park; Haew Suwat Waterfall; Sarika Waterfall; Kang Hin Perng; Khao Khaew View Point; Mo Sing To Observation Tower; and Nong Phug Shee Observation Tower.

There are several activities that tourists can do here. There are many trekking trails around the park, ranking from easy to hard, from one hour to four days. Most trails should have a guide to go with you for safety purpose. Kayaking and rafting is also interesting. Besides there are night time wildlife spotlighting, observing animals at Nong Pak Chee or Mo Sing To observation towers early morning, biking around the Park, and four-day trekking to see a dinosaur footprint.

Visitors must pay an entrance fee before entering to the Park. The fee per day is 40 baht for Thai people, 400 baht for foreign adults, and 100 baht for children.
