Luke is joined by Green Ops fight expert John Valentine to talk about the fight game.  John talks about how he got into BJJ, why you should be training in some sort of martial art and how introducing a weapon into a fight changes everything.

John is active-duty with over ten years of service. He has provided integrated training solutions for national and multinational military services. Working in the private sector, John taught various organizations providing training for service members, law enforcement, and everyday Americans. He also served as an assistant instructor to Matt Larsen while training special mission and intelligence units for several years.

He has attended ~600 hours of formal training in firearms and combatives to go along with over a decade of martial arts training. John's instructor certifications are:

• Rangemaster instructor development graduate
• Army Combatives instructor certified by Matt Larsen.
• RDS Instructor instructor certified by the Modern Samurai Project.
• Red Zone Empty Hand Knife Defense Instructor.

As a competitor, John is an international submission grappling medalist with experience in Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, and competitive shooting. John is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Modern Army Combatives under Matt Larsen.
