There used to be a girl in my choir class with the last name of Elliot. I adored reading T. S. Elliot poetry at that time and she always made fun of me, like she owned the rights to enjoyment or to his work. It was a complicated time in my life LOL and I haven't really revisited his works in a long time because of this. Today that changes as I have decided to do an episode on three of his most interesting poems (in my opinion) and I am excited to share them with you.
This is an episode that wishes a happy birthday to someone incredibly special while still sharing recent and new unshared poetry I've written. Happy Sunday!
Today's episode is one of my favorite sort of episodes to put together. Because I get to deep dive and share work created by an author I'll always admire and adore. This author, my friend of many names, has always been an extremely talented poet, and a huge supporter of just about any project I took on. These episodes are my way of doing the same.

Today's episode is about a fantastic poet trying to address disability and mental health in their poetry and especially the importance of having awareness and understandings of such things during a pandemic. Both of her books were released in 2020 and embrace this conversation with open arms and an open heart as well. The goal with "The Many Personalities of Me" was simply to have work people could relate to available for them to find. And "Not Another Poetry book: Just Kidding" is a happier take on connection and life despite disability and mental health issues. Which make these collections all the more important to read and share. And of course review on GoodReads and Amazon!

This episode features four Billy Collins poems that have resonated with me so clearly in my lifetime.
In this episode Nona and I are still entranced with the work of Liz Huston, so we did a reading about the project Dear Bouquet. A collection of poetry I wrote accompanied by Nona's art that will release on March 16th, 2021. Today we are just having fun and sharing even more diverse ways of finding and embracing inspiration. Which makes today's episode perfect for a Wednesday!

Today just feels like a snow day. Like a day of marveling at a beauty that couldn't possibly last longer than the day - the week at most. Like snow resting on the tip of your tongue and the occasional - unexplainable shiver down your spine. So, I shared some of my favorite poems that make the idea of a snow day all the more reasonable, tangible, and imaginable.
Today's episode brings back Ian Quiet to talk about dreams, follow-through, and success. I've gotten so many questions about dreams and what it is like to achieve a dream. I've got my collection Dear Bouquet coming out in March and Ian has new projects coming out all the time too - and even takes the time to define his version of Success today!
