First, the plaintiff says that he and the defendant dated for several months. After they broke up, he agreed to care for her apartment and animals while she was incarcerated. The defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff back, but hasn’t, and now he’s suing her. The defendant claims the plaintiff became obsessed with her, even proposing at one point. She did get arrested at one point by accident. When she returned to her apartment, she found that the plaintiff had taken all her money and other items, leaving her with nothing. She is countersuing for the money he stole from her.
Then, The plaintiff says she purchased a car for her daughter, the defendant, who then got into an accident. She says the defendant then refused to take responsibility and pay for the damages to the car and is suing for money she believes she is owed for the car. The defendant says her mother gifted the car to her and they both agreed the defendant would be responsible for paying the insurance. After the accident, she claims the plaintiff forbade her from making a claim on the insurance policy and even asked for the car back.
