What was Paul's goal in life as a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ? He sought to honor the Lord by making known the entire counsel of the Word of God. Our lives are to be devoted to the service of Christ by serving others. We should be both living according to and making known the entirety of God's Word. May this section of the Word of God stir our hearts to be faithful to Him!

In this study of the Word of God, we look at the letter of Christ to the church in Sardis. This letter reveals a church in need of stern rebuke and urgent repentance before the Lord. May we each evaluate our own lives before Christ and serve Him from a pure heart of worship!

In our midweek Bible study, we continuing working through the seven letters to the seven churches. We cover the letter to the church in Thyatira. This church was overly tolerant of evil and false teaching. There is much application for the church today to learn to cling to Christ, uphold the truth of His Word, and oppose that which is evil by proclaiming the full counsel of Scripture!

In this sermon, we look at the church in Pergamum. Christ commends them for standing firm in the midst of persecution. However, they needed to repent of falling prey to compromise with the world. We see Christ's encouragement and rebuke to the church, giving much application for us as Christians today!

In this sermon, we see the Lord Jesus commending and encouraging the church in Smyrna facing suffering. How should we as Christians respond to suffering? How can we be faithful to Christ? The Lord gives the church admonitions in light of the suffering they will face, which instruct us as believers how to honor Him in times of suffering and persecution.

In this sermon, we open our series through the book of Colossians as a church body. Paul is thankful for the faithfulness of the Colossian church. He knows the work of Christ in and through this body and that leads him to give thanks to God. May we be encouraged to faithfulness in Christ and praise Him for His work through the church!
