Left Field Daily Message

He keeps you safe.

I don't know where you are or what you're facing today, but I think you might need to hear this. Give it a listen to the end. God loves you. He will save you, protect you and lift you up if you let Him. Choose Him.

Make it count.

I've come to realise as I think a lot of you also have, we're never going to get to have this moment again, never again will we have today. Don't spend it being sad, angry, upset, stressed or any of those things. Take it to the Lord and let Him deal with it. Don't be misled by the enemy, God is always in control.

They just hit differently.

I just wanted to chat about how amazing the music I praised and worshipped to as a teen and those times was and how differently they seem to hit. Along came God in the moment and showed me something in it all. Be careful of what you listen to and when you listen to it. Find music that matches where you are and make sure God is in it. A Good example is music with scripture in the lyrics.

Missing Words.

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it - Deut 4:2

What do you do when you find out truth has been altered?

A Praying People.

There are many kinds of people we have in our lives and many kinds that we need. This one I'm speaking of today is a very important one. We definitely need them and we also need to be one. The bible teaches us to pray for everyone. So pray my friend!

You need to change if you want to grow.

What happens if you try something 1 way and it doesn't work? You try a different way, right? What happened? Something changed. Something shifted. Something broke. If you feel like you've gotten to a place and you're not getting any further, take some time and have a look. Your current level brought you as far as it could. It's time for something to change, shift, break so you can move forward.

What do you do in a waiting room?

The simple answer is wait, but then David comes along this morning in Psalm 66 and reminds me to sing God's praises. Then the Holy Spirit guides me back to a favoured verse that told me the best 3 things we can do in the waiting room. Pray, Rejoice, Give Thanks!

Who is it about?

You praise, you worship, yet it just doesn't feel like the shifts we need are happening.

Why? It could be the very music you're worshipping and praising with. Is the music focused on you and your problems or on God and His glory and greatness?

I Don't know what to say.

Does this sentence sound familiar? It does to me. There are many now and before us that felt the same way. Let's take a quick look at how God answers this question. He did it with Moses and Jesus told the disciples. He will show you too.
