Legendary Creature - Podcast

When a player and their commander come unhinged and they're awash with cards, promising to nuke your whole game, how do you learn to stop worrying and love the bomb? Maybe there's a way to stop the bomb that is your own opponents' card draw, or maybe you just need to build your own card draw bomb. Join us as we discuss what card draw means and how you can take it more seriously in your deck and in your opponents' decks. ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

It's a place of adventure! It's a place that got f***ed by the Eldrazi. It's the magic plane that is screaming plain. But maybe this vanilla domain of the multiverse actually has some cool stuff for commander. Join us for a full review of what Zendikar Rising has to offer commander players. ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

Is your playgroup under assault? Have the forces of evil threatened to tear down your righteous works? We've got your Keanu Reeves. Roon of the Hidden Realm comes to the rescue to see what he can do to manage a meta that is over-reliant on their commanders. Kyle deploys a trio of listeners to brew a list that can manage the rude and aggressive commanders roaming his group. Big thanks to Shaun, Chris, and Samuel for helping cut Roon from the Keanu Reeves cloth. Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy! Or… is there another way Daniel-san? Come join us this episode as Andy teaches us to wax on and wax off. Aikido is one of those deck themes you may or may not heard of, so Andy is helping define it and giving us all the tips you need to make sure you use your opponents' plans for damage against them. Voltron tends to get sh!t on these days. We've all heard the vulnerabilities that these face smashing behemoths fall to. Hell, you've even heard us talk down on Voltron commander decks. But does that cause some of us to dismiss commander damage? Join us as Andy takes us on a tour de force of commander damage that starts with a listener's Arixmethes deck and explores a host of other possibilities for making sure your commander's combat phase doesn't go to waste Mugiwara Lee's AriximethesDeck: https://archidekt.com/decks/731859#Tech_Tutor_-_Arixmethes_(mugiwara_build) Andy's Nezehal: https://archidekt.com/decks/544460#Nezahal_-_In_too_deep Andy's Ojutai: https://archidekt.com/decks/732204#Ojutai_-_In_the_Circle ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

This week we're going to fulfill a wish for some smitten EDH player via the Make a Wish Foundation. For any of you that need to really stick it out in front of your playgroup, let's talk about commanders that tutor stuff right out of your library. Kyle and Andy discuss the reputation and possibilities with tutor commanders. Kyle then gets into Sisay, Weatherlight Captain and a listener's toolkit build. He also explores building a shrines deck with Sisay at the helm. Welcome to a chaotic episode. Let's talk about finding the balance between being the asshole with too much removal and the asshole who doesn't have enough. While we're chatting, let's just talk about something totally different, because we're trying to appease the patrons. So let's also try to figure out why we all love some commanders but just can't seem to find decks for them to pilot us to enjoyment. Just come listen. There's something in here for everyone. ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

Start counting EVERYTHING! It matters! Andy dives into a listener's Torgaar, Famine Incarnate deck to see just how quickly this unusual avatar can land on the battlefield, making you wish your maker had given you more time. Andy then gets into a take on the deck that may be familiar. Who needs a place to put Triskaidekaphobia? Put this list together and your playgroup will learn to fear the number 13 and a good many other numbers that are on the path to 13. Didn't we just do this? I swear we just did this. But hey, they WotC keeps giving it to us. Let the feast begin. Come join us as we share the collective work of our listeners to see what the cards of Jumpstart have in store for all of us commander players. ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

Just like people, some commanders are a little too interested in death for comfort. So what do you do when you've chosen to bring a psycho like Kelsien, the Plague to a dinner party? Join us as Andy explores the joys and pitfalls of having a commander like Kelsien and also brings up the idea of bringing a more modest, but just as lethal alternative to the party in the likes of Kumano, Master Yamabushi.
