Welcome to the Commander 2020 and Ikoria grab bag review. Our patrons have reviewed all the legends for us and we're picking these new behemoths and non-behemoths alike at random to review. Come join us to see what the real commander players out there have to say, rather than listen to us blather on about them like idiots. Keep an eye out for a future post with all the decklists that listeners provided as source material for their review. ------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Discord: https://discord.gg/HWCdzr8 Twitter: @legend_creature ------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/

Prepare your godless shrines, because that's Kyle and Andy this episode. Per the will of the council, Andy and Kyle have assigned each other a color identity outside their respective preference zone and were tasked to build a deck. Join us to see what they came up with. We talk about decks on this podcast all the time. But what actually happens behind the scenes before we get here and share a deck with you? Join us this episode as Andy gets into all the details of how he makes sure his decks don't just have a chance to do something cool, but unmolested, will do exactly what he wants every time. And as a bonus, Andy gets us started on a Polukranos, Unchained deck! Pour a glass of kombucha. Grill up your black bean burger. Tighten up your vegan belt. Because we've got a hipster deck for you. Join us as Kyle explores what RaginOwlBear has cooking in the deck and takes a stab at trying to bring this lesser-used commander closer to its full potential. Stay tuned until the end for another deck Kyle brewed if you're in the mood to make your playgroup miserable. The council has spoken yet again. We're talking about archetypes we'd like to see improved, and in so doing, we're focusing on Voltron. What is wrong with Voltron? Why doesn't it work? What are its blind-spots? Join us as Andy and Kyle try to figure out what is holding Voltron back and where Wizards of the Coast needs to focus design energy to make it more viable in the format. ----------------------------------- Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/legendarycreature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/legendarycreaturepodcast Discord: https://discord.gg/HWCdzr8 Twitter: @legend_creature ----------------------------------- Intro and outro music artists vary each episode, but comes courtesy of the sexy souls of the following artists: Home – https://home96.bandcamp.com/ Protector 101 – https://protector101.bandcamp.com/ Dan Terminus – https://dan-terminus.bandcamp.com/ Silver Richards – https://silverrichards.bandcamp.com/
