In August 1994, the most important music festival of a generation took place on the 25th anniversary of the original Woodstock. Unlike the wretched 1999 version, Woodstock ’94 was three glorious days of peace, love and music. You know it was a success when the worst thing that happened was just a lot of rain and mud!
Adam and Chad discuss how excited they were about the music festival that defined the golden age of the 90’s and how nostalgic it still makes them feel today. They dissect the changes in culture going on at the time: moshing, raves, body paint, men wearing dresses; and the shift in music from established acts like Aerosmith and Metallica to the new era of Green Day and Nine Inch Nails.

In the final episode before our summer hiatus, Adam’s Dad joins the show to analyze the crap out of the original Top Gun. See where Adam gets his signature cynicism and trademark communication style! Starring Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis and Val Kilmer, and directed by Tony Scott and co-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, with an iconic 80’s soundtrack with songs by Kenny Loggins and Berlin, there’s no way Top Gun: Maverick can top the original, right?!?

In the early 90’s, Aerosmith embarked on their second comeback of their career.
