Obtain the necessary licenses and permits: Before you start planning your hunt, make sure to check the regulations and requirements for elk hunting in the specific state or region where you plan to hunt. Acquire the appropriate hunting license and any additional tags or permits needed.
Study elk behavior and habitat: Elk are large, social animals that prefer specific habitats, such as mountains, forests, and meadows. Learn about their behavior, feeding patterns, and movement during different seasons. Understanding their habitat preferences will help you locate them more effectively.

Procrastination was killing our goals and taking over our life. We took action and used two methods to begin to turn our productivity around. We both were in ruts and we did this to get out of the rut. In this podcast we will discuss what we are doing!

Procrastination can be a challenging habit to break, but with consistent effort and the right strategies, you can overcome it. Here are some tips to help you kill procrastination:
Set clear goals: Clearly define what you want to achieve and break your goals down into smaller, manageable tasks. This helps to create a sense of direction and purpose.
Prioritize tasks: Identify the most important tasks and tackle them first. Prioritizing helps you focus on what matters most and reduces the tendency to procrastinate.
Create a schedule: Develop a schedule or a to-do list that outlines your tasks and deadlines. This provides structure and helps you stay organized.
Break tasks into smaller steps: Sometimes tasks can feel overwhelming, leading to procrastination. Break them down into smaller, more manageable steps, and focus on completing one step at a time.
Set deadlines: Establish realistic deadlines for yourself. Having specific deadlines can motivate you to take action and avoid unnecessary delays.

Spend time scouting the area to identify deer trails, feeding areas, and bedding grounds. This knowledge will increase your chances of encountering big deer.
Choose the Right Weapon: Select a weapon that you are comfortable and proficient with, whether it's a rifle, bow, or crossbow. Practice regularly to improve your accuracy and ensure ethical shots.
Study Deer Behavior: Understanding deer behavior is crucial. Learn about their feeding patterns, movement during different times of the day, and the rutting season. This knowledge will help you anticipate their movements and position yourself accordingly.
