We have been through some beyond challenging times of recent, and just when we thought we would come up for air, it got worse.
I feel called to explore Empathy Vs Sympathy, with the emphasis really being on creating empathy.
Empathy has been and continues to be so wanted and needed right now in the world and I think collectively more seeking to understand before being understood would be such a great reminder.
I want to credit a great man Stephen Covey for introducing the world to seeking to understand before being understood, it’s such a powerful principle that helps us take the lead in our life, and also in creating empathy.
Entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals, and self-improvement seekers can use this in their day to day lives both personally and professionally, and we can all collectively lean into our empathy and connect much more in the world.

Does anyone still feel like they are on a teeter totter of being motivated to move vs what is actually happening during Covid-19? As the world begins to re-open bit by bit, it’s like coming out of some sort of hibernation in some ways.
The constant posts from “this is the time to do more, be more, create more” to “don’t buy into the you need to be more” posts are enough to make one dizzy. Which way do we go?
There is meaning we will all make up for ourselves or have made up for ourselves during this time, and we will at some level reinvent, contribute, come out different in some way. Bottom line, wherever you are in the matter is wherever you are supposed to be. Trust that and trust yourself.
During this episode we will explore creating yourself vs. finding yourself. It’s about choice and action all along the way.

Whether you are an Entrepreneur, leader, professional, or a self-improvement seeker, this episode will assist you in the distinction between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset.
We will explore the power of a growth mindset in this episode through listening to my very special guest, Brad Mobeck. He is my son, and a college graduate of the Class of 2020, and one of my greatest teachers.
Brad will share his story from being diagnosed with an auditory processing disorder in the 3rd grade to graduating college and heading to dental school.
Your mindset determines your success and goes hand in hand with the power of choice. When I talk about success, I mean what you choose is success. Not what someone else defines as your success.
Brad and I also have messages for the Class of 2020, who are very near and dear to our hearts and I believe will make a huge impact in our world.

Have you ever felt like a fraud? Do you doubt your capabilities? Most of us have, as a matter of fact. Anytime we are stretching outside of our comfort zone or hitting the next level in our lives.
The question here is, are we a fraud really? Or are we doubting who we really are, and who we are for people, our purpose in life, and what we have to contribute?
I believe in my whole heart we are not frauds, we are human beings having a human experience, and therefore it is natural we are going to argue for limitations from time to time.
In this episode we are continuing to explore the power of choice where we take on overcoming the Imposter by leaning into our Champion.
As entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals and self-improvement seekers have you taken the time to get familiar with your champion? And by the way who is this champion anyway?
The champion argues for our greatness even on days we aren’t feeling it! NOW your champion is not smoke and mirrors, your champion is in fact telling you the very truth you are resisting. Your champ wants you to get “you’ve got this” and 100% believes in CONFIDENCE BEFORE COMPETENCE!!

One of my favorite quotes that reminds me attitude is everything and is something that we are 100% free to choose each and every moment is this, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” – VIKTOR FRANKL
In this episode, we will continue to explore the power of choice! Today it is all about attitude, and how our attitude literally shapes the experiences we are having. This will assist us in taking the lead at work and in our relationships, and we will explore some practice that will assist us in choosing our attitude from our conscious vs. the subconscious so that we are more responsive day to day vs in reaction to our circumstances or in our relationships.
Get ready entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals and self-improvement seekers! This action-packed episode has powerful questions and action steps in having this key principle assist you in taking the lead in your life both personally and professionally!

My rock star client Paige Killian of the Mom's Organization Motivation Podcast and I thought it would be fun to do a “Crossover” Episode on one of my favorite principles when it comes to taking the lead in your life called “there is no such thing as balance, shoot for harmony!"
Sure, in banking, physics, the human body, etc there is a balance, but in the business of being human, absolutely no such thing as a destination called balance.
So, get ready to take the pressure off and discover the power of harmony. We will also help you to design your harmony check list, so you can start living this powerful principle today.
Take the lead in your life and let go of having everything be “perfect” and the illusion of balance. You can have it all, just not at the same time! Take off the pressure and be happy!
