Let's Get Better

New year, same you... despite my scepticism, the turn of the new year is a lush time to set some intentions, reflect on what you've built, and set yourself up for as nice a time as we can get right now.

This episode is stuffed full of tips and reflections to take into 2024, so if you're looking for a soft reset, a source of hope, or some juicy journaling prompts, you're in the right place.

Like many people you may have been watching in horror at what is happening in Israel and Palestine. You may be painfully up to date, or have no idea what's going on.

Either way, here are some simple thoughts on what is happening, a very brief oversimplified context, and some accessible actions you can take. I really urge you to act in any small way you can, because it all adds up.

On today's episode I chat to the glorious Emma Sutherland (she/they) who runs @thriftypuff_, an account focusing on sustainability, thrifting and crochet. We talk about how to get the balance between being sustainable and not hating yourself, politics and the UK Government ("Oh honey. No thanks, what a shambles.") and Emma's experience of being and getting a diagnosis of ADHD. 

We have an absolute riot, so we do talk slightly fast, and I've purposefully left in a few moments where we both forget what we were saying or struggle over our words, as it felt relevant to the conversation we were having.
