50 Berkeley Square may be part of the most known square in an affluent area of London, but it also happens to be the city’s most haunted house. Prime Minister George Canning, the shortest serving Prime Minister on record and a tenant of 50 Berkeley Square, noted that the townhouse had “unexplained sounds and disturbing psychic phenomena.” Neighbors reported hearing disembodied voices and seeing strange shadows lurking inside the vacant home. Those who dare to sleep in the uppermost bedrooms are declared insane, or worse, fatally injured by an “unnamed horror”. 50 Berkeley Square has been plaguing the residents of Mayfair for nearly 200 years, but is there more to the story than meets the eye? This week Nat explains to Aly why the townhouse known as 50 Berkeley Square is London’s most haunted home!

The Vertical Plane describes Ken's first-person perspective living through a series of alleged hauntings inside the 18th Century house known as Meadow Cottage. Purchased by Ken in 1983, the haunting activity inside the home lasted approximately 2 years from 1984 to 1986 and was experienced not only by Ken, but also by his girlfriend Debbie and several of their friends and colleagues who regularly visited the cottage. The story is unique in that it has elements of poltergeists, aliens, and ghosts all rolled into one action-packed saga. When we last left off, high school economics teacher Ken Webster was nearly a year into renovating the 18th Century home he had purchased in the early 1980s. After experiencing strange poltergeist-like activity such as footprints on walls and dark shadow figures lurking in the night, Ken and his girlfriend Debbie would begin to experience something even stranger: typed messages left on his computer, seemingly from a man living in the 1500s. As time wore on and the messages became harder and harder to follow, the man behind the messages would begin appearing to Debbie in her dreams. Then, even more people would begin communicating through the computer screen, namely, two time travelers calling themselves "2109" and "The One". 2109 would eventually tell Ken and Debbie that they were part of a scientific experiment.

Welcome to Episode 151: The Red Lamp! This supernatural phenomenon differs from our usual topics as The Red Lamp is an active and ongoing haunting. Witnesses who have encountered this object describe waking up in the middle of the night to see a floating, circular craft with glowing red lights in a tentacle pattern across the bottom. The object sometimes rotates slowly or moves from side to side. It is described as a few meters in width and appears to be watching the observer. When the observer notices the object's presence, this glowing entity stays in view for up to 30-60 seconds before zooming out of sight. Those who witness this object report many of the same details, including the overwhelming and animalistic sensation of fear. Some have even had to go to the ER for heart palpitations after being in the object’s presence. So, what is The Red Lamp?
