  • Helping Leaders Create Stigma Free Mental Wellbeing Workplace Cultures with: Adam Nemer

In a 2021 American Psychological Association survey, nearly 3 in 5 employees (59%) said they have experienced negative impacts of work-related stress in the past month, and a vast majority (87%) of employees think actions from their employer would help their mental health. For Adam Nemer a Mental Health Leadership Consultant After a 20 year leadership career in Healthcare, mostly as a CFO and Sr Operations Executive, I've launched Simple Mental Health Leadership Consulting (www.simplementalhealth.com). Our purpose is to help leaders create stigma-free mental wellbeing workplace cultures. We do that by putting mental health literacy in their leadership toolboxes right next to marketing, finance, sales, and all the other skills they acquire over our careers. Our mission is simple: help organizations improve employee retention, performance, engagement and happiness by facilitating the creation of mental health literate leaders and psychologically safe organizations.

At least 20% of American's every year experience a clinically diagnosable mental illness that pains the individual and impacts the performance of organizations just as much as any physical illness. While stigma still prevents most people from getting care, awareness of mental illness in the workplace has grown significantly post-pandemic. So much that the US Surgeon General has identified "Workplace Wellness" as one of the top 5 population health priorities for the country and 81% of workers report that they will be looking for workplaces that support mental health in the future.

However, all the way from senior leaders to line supervisors, leaders don't know what to do. Their education and training was informed by the myths and stigmas of mental illness. (eg: "Leave your emotions at the door.") Widely adopted workplace wellness investments aren't "righting the ship." They're strategies bumping up against traditional organizational cultures. That's where we come in. We teach you what to do.

We partner with you to incubate compassionate leaders who understand the connections between their leadership approach, their colleague’s mental wellbeing, and core business metrics such as turnover, attendance, productivity, employee engagement and team dynamic. Leaders committed to creating psychologically safety among their teams. Leaders who don't see their teammates as employees or colleagues who are supposed to leave their emotions at the door, but as people who can’t be separated from their feelings. • Unlocking The Leaky Gut Code with: David Meine

According to the Cleveland Clinic Leaky gut syndrome is a theory that intestinal permeability is not only a symptom of gastrointestinal disease but an underlying cause that develops independently. If your intestinal barrier is impaired, it may be letting toxins into your bloodstream.

David Meine is a cancer survivor, competitive road bike cyclist, and dedicated pickleball athlete, David Meine is an experienced career entrepreneur with a long list of successful launches under his belt. When he’s not out winning athletic medals, holding motivational talks, or advising business boards, David dedicates his time to furthering the mission he and  his wife Carla, are most passionate about: Eating To Live! Over the past two decades, David’s work, books, and remarkable journey have inspired thousands of people to transform their health in the same way. “When I was diagnosed with bladder cancer, my life and identity fell apart. How and why did I, an avid athlete in his early 60’s who never smoked or drank alcohol, get dealt such terrible cards? Had it not been for my wife’s never-ending support and commitment to my recovery, I wouldn’t be standing here today. Before she connected the dots back to my leaky gut, I never considered that my excessive consumption of sugar, NSAIDs, saturated fats or gluten intolerance could have fueled my cancer and a lifetime of health problems. Looking back, I’m surprised I didn’t get sick sooner!

My cancer was a massive tip of a giant iceberg, but it gave me a much greater goal––sharing my story of Eating To Live so that more people can heal in the same way.”  He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • The Calm Code with: Dr Annie White

Around three-quarters of adults (76%) said they have experienced health impacts due to stress in the prior month, including headache (38%), fatigue (35%), feeling nervous or anxious (34%), and/or feeling depressed or sad (33%).

In a 2021 American Psychological Association survey, nearly 3 in 5 employees (59%) said they have experienced negative impacts of work-related stress in the past month, and a vast majority (87%) of employees think actions from their employer would help their mental health

Dr. Annie White developed a revolutionary step-by-step method to dramatically lower stress and anxiety. Her mission is to help you  by giving you actionable tips you can use right away.

Dr. Annie White will tell you  why the typical tips to lower stress don't work and what to do instead.

She's the author of the book The Calm Code. Annie developed a method to wire the mind to eliminate high stress and anxiety based on the science of the brain.

It's her mission to help as many people as possible move from "Stressville" to "Calmtown." She knows firsthand what it's like to live in Stressville - as she says, she'd moved in and started decorating.

Annie has a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and developed the rewiring method for her patients. Then she went through a tough time where she saw for herself what high stress can do to your mind. She was anxious, irritable, negative - you could say a nightmare on feet. And she almost lost her marriage.

Everything turned around after she used the tools in her book. Once she saw how well they worked, it was her mission to get them to everyone who needs them. These days that's probably everyone but the Dalai Lama.

  • Become Unbreakable with: Bryan Scudiere

About 42% of U.S. adults reported undesired weight gain in the first year of the pandemic, with 29 pounds gained on average, a recent survey shows. There is a path to improved health through weight loss, and it starts by identifying the factors that led to weight gain.  According to Orlando health. For  Bryan Scudiere: “Unlike most men, I didn't have the traditional route. I dropped out of college at 20 to pursue sales and entrepreneurship.

And I gained my "degree" from years of failure.

After having risen to the top of a huge 70+ year old company I found myself exhausted, depressed, anxious, and seeking more.

This caused me to drink, take copious amounts of drugs, and party like you couldn't believe. All accompanied by the rise of dating apps - so I naturally gravitate to womanizing.

I was a real piece of shit. but I thought I was cool, because I was making a lot of money.

Eventually I met my wife by chance, literally after the second date I deleted all the apps and knew I'd marry her.

This was the start of my journey into finding fulfillment through commitment.

Later, my wife took a picture of me the day before I was about to be crowned the top dog in my sales company at the Year End Celebration banquet.. and I realized that I had put on 40+lbs in 2 years.

This shook me to my core, and I immediately got to work. After trying everything and yo-yo-ing for the first two years I finally dialed in and truly committed. Again finding fulfillment.

in 2020, I lost everything. all my financial security, and fell into the deepest hole I had ever been in. I had to reinvent myself. The only thing I could grasp onto as a foundation was my fitness. So I was working out in a musty parking garage with a jump rope, two dumbbells, and running.

I realized how much I could build who I am as a man through fitness. How much I could challenge myself, and how much o an allegory it can be to finding self discipline and respect.

I read it all, studying every night, finding all the different modalities. Eventually I figured it out. Cracked the code even. And found myself leveraging morning routines of cold exposure, hard exercise, and quality but disciplined eating as the basis of how I made all my decisions.

I stopped thinking about the aesthetics, and I started using the same principles in every area of my life. Leaning in during uncomfortable conversations with my wife.. that drew us closer.

Being the unbreakable rock for my wife during the first 8 weeks of the new born phase.

rebuilding my financial situation from the scratch.

    Everything.

I've since coached over 50 men in just 18 months into the best shape of their lives and help them rebuild and shift their identity using fitness as a cornerstone habit.” He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Understanding How To Connect is the Key to Growth & Fulfillment with Michelle DeKeyser

In fact, 53% of parents say that mom is the primary caregiver in their home, according to data provided to CNBC Make It from UrbanSitter’s recent survey of nearly 500 parents. Less than a third of parents surveyed agreed that caring for the kids is split evenly among both parents.

But juggling child-care challenges with work responsibilities takes a toll. There were about 35 million working mothers in the U.S. at the end of 2019 and roughly 9.8 million working mothers in the U.S. are suffering from workplace burnout, according to a new analysis Great Place to Work and health-care start-up Maven conducted based on its survey of 440,000 working parents, including 226,000 mothers. Michelle DeKeyser  is a teacher, wife and mom of three kids who participated in various mom groups, ran a few, even joined some book clubs, but envisioned something different as she found herself looking around still wondering what did she like to do anymore that didn’t involve the kid’s activities. As she worked to discover her own passions, she realized that there is no one size fits all program, but the true key to figuring out your passion and making your goals happen is finding connection in a supportive environment. Therefore, her new mission is to help other mamas find their passions while being more present with their families in a supportive empowering environment surrounded by grace. She has started spreading this message through YouTube, Instagram, and her Blog. She holds a MA in education and spent 8 years dedicated to the classroom before having a family. • Building more Resilient People in the Workplace with: Helen Honisett

According to LinkedIn’s 2019 Workforce Learning Report, 94 percent of employees say that they would stay at a company longer if it simply invested in helping them learn. Helen Honisett is a seasoned and successful business leader who helps solve complex business problems by getting the right people in the right places doing the right things at the right time. She does this by instilling strong leadership skills and behaviours at all levels of the organisation.

Helen is the author of the book Defy Expectations, that looks at how leading with love, integrity and trust can build and bond teams much more effectively than traditional methods.  In fact, the methodology described in the book lead to a 12% growth of sales revenue and a 2% decrease in overall cost when last implemented.

For all of her career she has studied how we learn as individuals and professionals, from early years through to adulthood. What motivates us to perform, to grow and reach our potential? How do we engage as individuals and as a team? Recently she has seen and experienced a growing need amongst corporates and SMEs to really understand what drives their employees to deliver their best and consequently meet and exceed business goals.

Her passion for ensuring everyone achieves their potential is what drives her.  She loves finding out what makes each person tick and working with her is always a revelation, both personally and professionally. As one of her clients once said "I never fully understood how my mindset was impacting my success.  Increasing my self-awareness and tweaking my behaviours significantly improved my performance and productivity at work. These are not topics you usually cover in mentoring or training - but they should be!"

As part of her work she has focussed on two functions within an organisation; Sales and Organisational Excellence.  By building a motivated and highly functional sales team revenue and profit goals are hit and often exceeded.  By ensuring the organisation has the behaviours, mindset, skills and techniques to manage and motivate through change the business can continue to evolve without the risk of disengaging the workforce.

Helen lives in Oxford with her 2 sons, Sam and Josh.  When not building train tracks or visiting Cotswold Wildlife Park, Helen enjoys spending her time practising yoga, running, and travelling. She joined me this week to tell me more.
