Joe Kerins, is a Certified College Planning Specialist, Certified College Funding Specialist, who Says:
“In 2015, while I was a Financial Advisor, I had a client ask for help in completing the dreaded FAFSA! I wasn't too familiar with it's inner workings at the time, so started to do some research. I quickly learned that I had no idea how College Financial Aid truly worked. Pretty much everything I thought to be true about financially planning for college was wrong!
At that point I dedicated all of my time to learn the ins and outs of the Financial Aid System. Through my studies, I gained the professional designation of a Certified College Planning Specialist and soon joined Elite Collegiate Planning to properly guide families on how to save for higher education.
I have helped families save thousands of dollars a year on college costs by maximizing their eligibility for financial aid and making schools with a sticker price of over $80,000 cost less than an In-State - State School.
In the past 5 years, I have increased my knowledge in the college arena and added the designations of a Certified College Funding Specialist and Education Loan Analyst, which adds me to a very select few who hold all these designations. As of January 2023, only 6 others in the country have earned these designations.
I now am also the Co-Host of the College Knowledge Podcast.” He joined me this week to tell me more.

The Pollfish survey commissioned by UpCity found that just 44% of businesses currently have an SEO strategy in place and 34% have made it a priority to do so in 2022. Pat Ahern has been working since 2012 on building bootstrapped businesses. Most failed. "I've learned a lot from those failures. In 2016, I started what is now Intergrowth, an SEO-centric content marketing agency. We bootstrapped Intergrowth from 2 to 50 people over the next 5 years. I've spoken on a dozen different podcast interviews, written for publications ranging from Content Marketing Institute to Recruiter.com, and been quoted by dozens of other publications. The areas that I speak to most often are SEO, content marketing, building a professional service business, and building a bootstrapped business. Outside of that, I can also speak to hiring advice, management advice, and advice for building marketing strategies." He joined me this week to tell me more. Bobby Aldridge is a Physiotherapist who has spent over three decades as an athlete, student, and educator of physical movement. Now, in the best shape of his life, his mission is to help others move with ease, grace, and power to eliminate pain, reduce the chance of injury, and maximize performance.
The road to his success was born out of necessity as he had to figure out how to pre-hab and rehab for himself. Now, the developer and founder of BAMmetrics [Bobby Aldridge Method], is sharing his proprietary system used by professional athletes with you – to help increase mobility, unlock joints and eliminate dysfunction while alleviating pain, preventing injury and increasing performance.
As a double Division 1 college athlete playing basketball and baseball, Bobby’s athletic success was plagued by injury. As early as his freshman year in high school he broke an ankle and tore ligaments; in college, more torn ligaments including his MCL (medial collateral ligament), and then, a serious car accident-causing lower lumbar injury threatened to permanently limit his mobility.
He fought hard to rebound and recover using conventional modes of physical therapy and was inspired to choose a fitness and health career path, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He joined me this week to tell me more.

Increasingly, many people in the U.S. and around the world identify as neurodivergent. Research suggests that up to 15-20% of the U.S. population is neurodivergent, according to Employer Assistance Resource Network for Inclusion and Diversity. You likely know, work with and socialize with a significant number of people who are neurodivergent, including family members, coworkers, colleagues and friends. No two neurodivergent people are exactly alike. Thus, each neurodivergent person will bring a different set of skills and talents to the workplace and have different access and support needs. Danielle Sullivan is an autistic neurodiversity life coach, parent coach, and parent of two neurodivergent kids living in Colorado.
Danielle also hosts the Neurodiverging Podcast, streaming wherever you get your podcasts. Our mission is to help neurodiverse folks and families find the resources we need to live better lives as individuals, and to further disability awareness and social justice efforts to improve all our lives as part of the larger world community. The popularity of your offering will dictate the viability of your longevity. And for baseball it’s a question they’ve been wrestling with for years. TheScore reports MLB, like all entertainment businesses, is trying to grow revenues and add new fans. One big problem: its paying customer base is shrinking unlike other sports.
MLB's on pace for its worst attendance season in a year not dramatically affected by COVID since 1995 and 1996, when the sport was coming out of a damaging strike.
MLB attendance peaked in 2007 and has been gradually declining since, and that drop has accelerated in recent years.
From 2007-19, attendance declined by about 1% per year on average, and 14% total. But compared to 2019, the last full season without COVID restrictions, attendance is down 7.5% this year.
Now, attendance per game is down 13.6% since Manfred's first full year in 2015.

Over 180,000 more small businesses opened than closed in the last year. From March 2020 to March 2021, approximately 1.1 million new small businesses opened, according to data from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). That is 180,528 more small businesses that opened within this timeframe than close, according to Forbes. Samuel Smith has always been in business, from mowing yards and delivering newspapers at age 12, to building two seven figure companies before his mid 30’s. Poor stewardship and an unchecked addiction to alcohol saw the meltdown and total collapse of his life and marriage, leading to rock bottom and broke when he should have been enjoying the fruits of his labor. Samuel has since been sober over four years, and now has two companies that he had built back into the mid six figure range, this time with the proper fundamentals and stewardship to ensure long term success. In 2020 when the world shut down, he began to follow his natural desires to teach and lead other business owners and help them avoid the mistakes and pitfalls that he went through. He talks openly and frankly about his failures in life and in business and how sobriety and focus have turned his life around helping other men and women realize that they are not alone and that they too can overcome their dependence on alcohol and addiction. He lives by the fact that there are no super humans in this world, only normal humans who decide to do super things and commit to them, one step at a time. He joined me this week to tell me more.
