  • Build Your Brand & Business Through Speaking with: Aaron Golub

There are an estimated 40,000 professional speakers in the United States, but not all work full-time. Most speakers can't make a living solely on speeches. They write books, create online courses, do webinars and podcasts, and personal/business coaching as well, leveraging their message, according to www.marketresearch.com Aaron Golub is a keynote speaker as well as the CEO and founder of Initiate Connections. Aaron creates pathways for individuals, companies, conferences, sports teams, and schools around the world to push boundaries and accomplish their goals. Aaron became the first legally blind athlete to play football in a division 1 game when he was at Tulane University. He was a captain his senior year and went on to become an NFL free agent. Aaron has paved the way for others showing that it doesn’t matter what type of adversity they face or what their perceived limitations are; anything is achievable with hard work and tuning out judgment. • Achieving Real Estate Success Through Social Media with: John Schuchman

While the pandemic is causing major economic impacts, the real estate industry is still booming in many markets, with house prices skyrocketing in Q2 of 2021. That, in turn, has increased competition within the sector, and with over 3 million licensed real estate agents in the US alone, the race to stand out is incredibly fierce.

Agents need to establish an edge, wherever possible, to maximize their performance, and many are finding that effective social media usage can give them that push, and boost their connection with both buyers and sellers  Indeed, in July 2021, real estate publisher The Close conducted a survey of 135 real estate professionals, with the results indicating that the majority (60%) of agents now feel that social media is even more important than their own website for their marketing and outreach efforts.

John Schuchman is a top Realtor who created a six-figure real estate business using organic social media growth in the first two years of his business. In 2019, he lost a full-time W-2 job and struggled mentally and emotionally for months before he found his home in real estate. He has helped others successfully transition from employee to entrepreneur. With no advertising, he tripled his business in one year and can teach you how  to do the same. He now has a 6-figure business and a passion for not only helping his own clients but also for helping others grow businesses.

He has a gift for organic social media and coaches others in using it well. No cold calling, no pitching, just sharing stories and treating people the right way, so they want to do business with him again and again. John does such a great job that 100% of his clients have left him a review.

John now coaches Realtors on how to create a successful real estate business. John also coaches other businesses how to use the "low-hanging fruit" of organic social media for free to create success in their businesses. He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Forgiveness and Choices: The Redemption Story of Brandon Puffer

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and The National Institute of drug abuse eventually three out of four people who suffer with addiction eventually recover. Meanwhile, Vice Magazine says approximately 33 percent of elite athletes are addicted to a drug they took to help them overcome their pain so they could go back to performing. For former MLB pitcher Brandon Puffer “After a 15-year MLB career, I have fallen to great depths and come out the other side with important lessons I want to share with those who might find themselves facing tough obstacles or set-backs in their own lives. For me, recovering from my addiction and hardships meant filling a God-shaped hole in my heart, and I now live my life with purpose and gratitude for all that has been restored. One of my proudest roles in the life I lead today is being the coach for a non-profit baseball organization that helps young people develop their baseball talent, and this is one of the many ways I plan to lead others in living lives they, too, can be proud of. I've been through many ups and downs, but what has been most important has been overcoming these low points and not allowing them to define me; my faith has guided me through these dark times with grace, courage, and the utmost determination.” He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Your 2022 Midterm Election Report Card with Professor Brian Calfano

Conservative leadership could stand to endure an extreme makeover after the Republican Party was denied a red wave in the 2022 midterm elections. Where voters sent a clear message, they're tired of the partisanship and gridlock in Washington and they want their elected officials to work together to get things done. Abortion and protecting democracy were top priorities for voters this election cycle. After underperforming will the Republicans rid themselves of Trumpism and create a conservative agenda which meets the needs of voters today? Which they’ll need to do if they want to win elections again consistently. Meanwhile on the democratic side of the aisle they overperformed and will maintain control of the US Senate. Therefore, can they use their slim majority to continue to execute their agenda and deliver for voters. GOP Republicans will have the slimmest of majorities in the House. Which makes the overarching question is can a divided government be effective? To answer some these lingering questions Brian Calfano Professor of Political Science and Journalism at the  University of Cincinnati joined me this week to provide further perspective.

  • Patience Versus Progress A Detroit Lions Conversation With: Jake Riepma

Patience versus progress it's a variable debate when a sports franchise is in the middle of a rebuild. For the Detroit Lions their top brass truly believes this time will be the charm and under the leadership of Head Coach Dan Campbell and General Manager Brad Holmes this consistently downtrodden franchise will finally get it right. After winning two consecutive games and the first on the road under Campbell last Sunday against the Chicago Bears, when the team came back to win after trailing by 14 in the 4th quarter, on the road. The first time they’ve done so since 1992.  The Lions will now attempt to go for the trifecta when they had to the Big Apple on Sunday to face the New York Giants.

Now is as good a time as ever to pose the question are the Lions truly making progress in year 2 under Campbell and Holmes? Meanwhile, with the team having 5 picks in the top 65 picks in this year’s draft they really have a golden opportunity, to accelerate their reconstruction project to ensure they are consistent visitors and mainstays in the win column for years to come.  Someone who has his finger on the pulse of everything relating to the Detroit Lions is 97.1 The Ticket’s Jake Riepma. He joined me this week to provide his thoughts on the current state of the Lions and how they can continue their positive progression forward.

  • Focusing on Empowerment, Detoxing & Education in Your Infertility Journey with: Erica Hoke

In the United States, among heterosexual women aged 15 to 49 years with no prior births, about 1 in 5 (19%) are unable to get pregnant after one year of trying (infertility). Also, about 1 in 4 (26%) women in this group have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a pregnancy to term (impaired fecundity,) according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Erica Hoke is the infertile mother of 4 boys, wife, and best-selling author. After struggling for years with undiagnosed endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PCOS, thyroid disease, factor 5 Leiden and MTHFR, unable to participate in traditional IUI or IVF methods, she was able to get to the bottom of her infertility issues via continual changes to her diet and lifestyle.

Now she fiercely shares her story and the stories of others to give hope to those still on the path to creating the family of their dreams. As lead author and publisher of Infertility Success, Stories of Help and Hope for Your Journey she partnered with 19 other authors to share this same message.

This approach allows the patients to systematically address and remove all obstacles before pursuing invasive and expensive IUI and IVF treatments.

  • Helping Experts Leverage Their Expertise to Make More Money with Kathleen Celmins

How big is the global ecommerce market? The global ecommerce market is expected to total $5.55 trillion in 2022. That figure is estimated to grow over the next few years, showing that borderless ecommerce is becoming a profitable option for online retailers, according to Shopify.  Kathleen Celmins  spends most of her time  as a business coach, helping time-strapped digital entrepreneurs, speakers, coaches, and freelancers triple their income through a strategic approach to selling their digital products.

Many people created a digital product because of the allure of passive income. But many of those digital products never turned into passive income. Kathleen works with these people to create a lucrative income stream that runs on autopilot. She teaches experts how to create marketing engines, new ways to sell digital products that don’t include a slide deck, and the pricing strategies that will win. She’s learned most of her lessons the hard way, but has found wild success both in her business and the businesses she’s consulted with.

When she’s not at her desk, you can find her on her yoga mat, exploring her world with her husband and two kids, at the local farmers market, and enjoying the sheer pleasures of living.  She joined me this week to tell me more.
