  • Kevin Palmieri "I Found Out That Rock Bottom Had a Basement"

Are you willing to challenge yourself to push yourself outside of your comfort zone to experience your next level of prosperity, growth, and personal development? if you answered yes to this very question then Kevin Palmieri wants to hear from you. He's got his own story of redemption, perseverance and resilience to share.

“I am the CFO, Founder & Co-Host of Next Level University, a Global Top 100 Self-Improvement Podcast with more than 1,000 episodes and 600K+ listens in over 125 countries.

Some people find rock bottom… I found out that rock bottom had a basement.

In my mid 20’s… I had it all.

I had a beautiful girlfriend, high paying job, sports car, my dream body… but I still ended up sitting on the edge of a bed debating suicide.

After my rock bottom moment, I went all in on holistic self-improvement.

I was determined to overcome my anxiety, depression and to finally live the life I’d always dreamed of.

Years later, I now host a podcast that impacts hundreds of thousands of people in countries all over the world.

At this stage, I’ve helped grow the podcast into a multi six-figure business, and I’ve recorded well over 1,000 episodes.

I’ve also given hundreds of speeches, trainings and coaching calls with people all over the world.

The main thing that changed was ME.

I focused on learning what I didn’t know (unlearning a lot too), and my life started to shift.

I love talking about Consistency, Commitment, Habits, Mindset, Confidence, Fear, Relationships, Limiting Beliefs and everything in between.

I believe in a heart-driven but NO BS approach to holistic self improvement, and I look forward to teaching even more people about what it really takes to get to the next level!” He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Growing Golf in Ontario with: Nick Taylor

Golf Canada reports: The game of golf accounts for an estimated $18.2B of Canada's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is up 14% from the $15.9B reported in 2014. At Golf Ontario, there on a mission to shape lives by leading, creating, and promoting positive golf experiences. The Golf Ontario (formerly the Golf Association of Ontario) as it is currently structured came into being in November of 2001, following the amalgamation of the Ontario Golf Association and the Ontario Ladies Golf Association. Prior to the amalgamation, the OGA and the OLGA had represented amateur golfers in Ontario for close to 80 years and had done an excellent job of building and promoting the game.

At the time of the amalgamation only Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan had taken the step towards amalgamation. Since that time, all of the Provincial Golf Associations have amalgamated and in 2005 the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the Canadian Ladies Golf Association completed the process.

In the early days of Golf Associations in Ontario, there were small associations, representing Private Clubs in the Toronto area and providing a service that was specific to golf championships. Over our history, the association has grown to the point where today our Club Members include Private Clubs, Semi-Private Clubs and Public Golf Clubs. The majority of our individual members are at the Private and Semi-Private Clubs, but the association also offers opportunities for individuals to join directly as members of a Public Player Program. At the present time, Golf Ontario represents over 450 Member Clubs and over 92,000 individuals making it one of the largest Amateur Golf Associations in the world. Nick Taylor is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Golf Ontario. He joined me this week to discuss how the association is working to grow the game of Golf across the province of Ontario.

  • Highlighting the Positive Sides of Masculinity with: Dylan Roos

Why is mentoring important for male youth?

Research shows these mentoring relationships make a big difference to young people. A study published by The National Mentoring Partnership reports young adults with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college, 78% more likely to volunteer regularly, and 130% more likely to hold leadership positions. Dylan Roos’s story can relate to these findings.

“I grew up with one of Australia's most famous athletes and coaches as my father. This allowed me to develop leadership skills from an early age having being brought up around football clubs with plenty of positive male role models. My mum is a meditation teacher with a PHD in parapyscic sciences. This allowed me to have a healthy balance of the practical and the spiritual which plays out daily in my life and my work.

I started working with men in 2018 and have loved every minute since.
My "WHY" behind my work can be simplified into a 3 points.
I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and want to change the landscape for men and the mental health conversation.

I remember being a young man, being lost and purposeless.

The main conversation in society today being around "toxic masculinity". I want to highlight the positive sides of masculinity and its necessity to men and society.” He joined me this week to tell me more.
