  • A Student of the Marathon with: Claire Bartholic

When opportunity and change have the opportunity to collide to instrumentally impact your life for the better will you be open and willing to accept the life transformation. For Claire Bartholic her transformation happened in her 30’s as she was gearing up for a high school reunion. She wasn’t always a runner. She started running in her mid-30s simply to get in shape for her high school reunion. It wasn’t about getting faster or racing; it was, to be honest, mainly about vanity. But something changed in her as the miles slowly added up. The reunion came and went and she kept running. She joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Stepping Out of the Shadows and Into the Light with: Don Hajicek

Coming into the light and stepping out of your shadows can come with many twists and turns for introverts. For Don Hajicek 8 years ago, he discovered the healing properties of Being Seen, specifically through photography, and has been traveling the world and doing this work exclusively ever since.

“As an introvert myself, it was eye-opening to see how much my clients grew in both their personal and business lives as they stepped "out of the shadows" and just a bit more into the light.”

Now, this is the purpose of his life; to help introverts and trauma survivors step into the light, reclaim themselves, and make the impact they want to make on the world around them... all while using the gifts of their introversion, not by "becoming extroverts."  He joined me this week to tell me more.

  • Industrial Real Estate Outlook Remaining Strong with: Chad Griffiths

Logistics, warehousing and fulfillment are the clear winners this year. This segment of industrial real estate has remained resilient throughout the pandemic—in large part because of a surge in demand from e-commerce, food delivery services, home improvement retailers and, to a lesser degree, medical supply companies.

Much of the country continues to see tight market conditions, according to CBRE’s report on the Canadian industrial real estate market for the second quarter of 2020. The availability rate has edged up since the start of the pandemic, but at 3.5% nationally, it’s still well below the 10-year average of 5.1%.  Therefore, what does all of this mean for the current state of the industry? Chad Griffiths is an industrial real estate broker, who’s completed 500+ transactions with clients ranging from local companies to large institutional owners.  He joined me this week, to discuss his passion for the industry and the current state of affairs in his profession.
