Dr. Lee Merritt joins Dr. Deb in this episode to discuss her thoughts on what defines a bioweapon and whether we are currently dealing with one. They also talk about shedding from the virus and different things that they are seeing medically with people who have gotten the COVID vaccine.
Do not miss these highlights:
[06:30] One of the problems that are going on is there’s too much segmentation and stovepiping of information
[07:22] There were four unique inserts into the spike proteins, into this S1 subunit of spike protein that had to be man-made and does not occur in nature
[11:38] What is genetic poison?
[16:20] We’ve never had an asymptomatic transmission of a virus before, and we have never quarantined the well, only the sick before the rise of covid.
[18:37] They used confusion and anxiety to brainwash people and be so terrified that they ran off to get an unknown vaccine
[26:37] New York City had a .19% mortality rate while in Uganda it’s .00005%. In other words, 10,000 times better than all the fancy doctors and hospitals in New York state.
[27:58] Childhood diseases weren’t cured by vaccines, they were cured by plumbers, meaning better sanitation and better diet
[34:10] If self-amplifying RNA gets into you, it amplifies itself more, and then it starts putting out proteins
[37:58] Vaccines were given by people with no training, who were not certified
[51:21] What is Mycoplasma?

Hi, and welcome to Let’s Talk wellness out. I’m your host, Dr. Dub, and our episode today is what is a bio weapon? And does it cause shedding. And I’m excited to bring to you my guest who’s going to talk to us about this topic, Dr. Lee merit, and Dr. Lee was the first physician to publicly name the COVID-19 virus as a vaccine bio weapon. She started her medical career at the age of four making house calls with her father, a lifelong member of the alpha omega alpha honor Medical Society, past president of AAPs and former board member of the Arizona Medical Association. Lee’s ancestry in the US dates back before seven the 1776 war for independence with her grandfather, John Deakins, who fought in the 1776 war for independence. Dr. Merritt is the founder of the weekly video podcast exit the bio matrix. She is an Orthopedic spinal surgeon. She is classically trained physician and obtained her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is the only female to be awarded the Louis A Goldstein fellowship in spinal surgery at Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Merritt comes with just a load of credentials. She’s testified before Omaha council regarding mask mandates. And she is going to share with us today, her thoughts on what defines a bio weapon? Are we actually dealing with a bio weapon. And we’re going to talk about shedding from the virus and different things that we’re both seeing medically with people who have gotten the COVID shot. Debra Muth 3:39Hi, everybody, welcome to Let’s Talk wellness. Now I’m Dr. Deb, your host and I am super excited to have with me Dr. Lee Merritt today. She is just an amazing person. I’ll let her tell you her background, but we’re going to have a great conversation around COVID Because that’s a hot topic today. So Dr. Merritt, welcome to the show.
Dr.Lee Merritt 3:57Well, thanks very much. Thanks for having me.
Debra Muth 3:59So tell us a little bit about yourself.
Dr.Lee Merritt 4:01Okay, well, I trained in medical school in Rochester, New York, and I went off to the Navy thinking I was going to be a cardiologist and ended up as an orthopedic spine surgeon but an orthopedic surgeon and then I did a fellowship in Rochester and spinal surgery when I got out. And one of the things that’s played a role in me ending up doing what I’m doing right now in this mess is that in addition to the 10 years, I spent in the Navy nine and a half, I when I got out I served on the Navy research advisory committee which was a it’s a congressional subcommittee that looks at defense technology for the for the Navy, and you know, I that by law, they have to have a doctor on it, but I didn’t have a lot of research, you know, they were mostly looking at other things and so I did a few things but I decided on my own that I wanted to understand the issue of bio weapon ABC Atomic Biologic and Chemical weapon defense. And what I discovered is some things are so difficult that we don’t talk about them. It’s just you know, it’s true also in other aspects of defense, you know, and I can’t I can’t name them. I don’t know if that’s still classified, but there’s certain things that they really don’t want to, they can’t solve. They just don’t talk about it, you know. And so I think that’s kind of true with Bio weapons. But the other thing to say about about this is, I have had the opportunity, knowing kind of what I think’s going on, I had the opportunity to sit and talk with Scott Atlas at a dinner one night, and, and he’s a good guy, and he’s on our side. But a couple things I learned as he never looked at diverse himself. You know, these guys in the university, they just read their own, they read peer reviewed journal papers, but that only tells you part of the story, unfortunately, it tells you it’s like, we’ve got a system of science transmission. It’s like the Politburo applied to science, where you have a few people on the top, who have a narrative that they want to support, and they screen out everything else that doesn’t fit that narrative, and they don’t publish it. So you really don’t get the whole picture. And, and it’s easy to, for people to say, Well, they say about theirs, but it’s not really true. I mean, you need to people need to look at themselves, the vaccine adverse event reporting sy...
We have seen many chronic illnesses over the years and many are difficult to treat and sometimes impossible to cure. CV has forced medicine to think outside the box. Dr. Bruce Patterson has not only used technology to prove long haulers exist but has found similar patterns in chronic Lyme, fibromyalgia, and CFS. As a practitioner, I have been looking for new technologies to apply to these conditions for decades. Some work great, others do not so well. With this new technology we can now identify what is causing the issue and we KNOW which medications to prescribe to greatly improve the condition.
Do not miss these highlights:
04:21 – Dr. Patterson draws similarities between this pandemic and others that he has dealt with in the past.
07:23 – Vaccines are the be all and end all that people want them to be. Focus needs to be put on the treatment.
08:53 – Similarities between the inflammatory markers between chronic Lyme, Fibromyalgia and COVID.
11:59 – There have been similarities in treating post Lyme, MECFS, and post-vaccination long haulers.
16:14 – We have to look at enhancing the immune system without over stimulating it
18:30 – The fact that we are not using precision medicine the way it should be with Covid and the fact that healthcare is using hospitalization as a biomarker for treatment
25:20 – Healthcare is not looking at alternate or similar diagnosis as Covid so people with issues are being left untreated because “it is not covid”.
30:08 – People are taking the CV vaccine as a cure to post lyme disease but this is too soon to determine its long term effects.
32:04 – A look at what incelldx.com is doing and how you can be tested through them.

Debra Muth 0:02Welcome to Let’s Talk Wellness Now I’m your host, Dr. Deb. This is where we talk about everything wellness, and learn to defy aging and live our lives on our own terms. Hey, welcome back. I’m your host, Dr. Deb, this is Let’s Talk Wellness Now and this is November 11 2021, where we are broadcasting about treatment and testing for CB long hollers, fibromyalgia, Lyme myalgic encephalitis chronic fatigue syndrome, ME/CFS. This is some cutting edge research by my guest, Dr. Bruce Patterson, who is showing patterns for us of what inflammatory markers are elevated in these conditions, they are a little bit different. And better yet, we’re talking about what our treatment options for these conditions are going to be over the next couple of years. So for people who have suffered from fibromyalgia, chronic Lyme, chronic encephalitis, there have been very few treatment options available for them. Aside from antibiotics and some herbs, some have done well, some haven’t. It’s been a really trying time for people who have suffered from these conditions. Dr. Patterson has come up with some great testing and some interesting treatment options that we are embarking on into the new ages. So my guest, Dr. Patterson received his undergraduate training in molecular biology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. And then he went on to Northwestern University Medical School for training in medicine. And during the early stages of AIDS epidemic, Dr. Patterson began investigating cellular reservoirs of HIV one using molecular and insight to technology patented in his laboratory, Dr. Patterson went on to do a residency in pathology focusing on viral pathogenesis. And while he was in residency, he determined that enough HIV virus was present in infected individuals to account for massive destruction of the immune system. The paradigm altering the work was published in Science of 1993. Later, Dr. Patterson became chief resident of path the pathology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. And He has authored over 100 manuscripts and book chapters, and he continues his work on HIV one pathogenesis and reservoirs at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also the medical director of diagnostic virology at Stanford University Hospitals and Clinics. So this is the doctor’s doctor right? If anyone understands the immune system, it is Dr. Patterson and we are going to have a very open conversation about what we’re seeing with the immune system with CV and long haulers and post CV vaccine injury. And this is going to be a great conversation to share with your friends and colleagues. So let’s get started.

Debra Muth 4:42Welcome back. I have my guest, Dr. Bruce Patterson with me. Welcome to the show.
Bruce Patterson 4:47Thank you. It’s my pleasure.
Debra Muth 4:49So Dr. Patterson, tell us how you got involved in looking at science and research and immune system.
Bruce Patterson 4:57Well, I’m a viral pathologist by trade And I started out, you know, right in the fire in the late 80s and early 90s, doing research on HIV and being a virologist, you know, it was really my first, you know, my first pandemic. So you know, now this is almost my fifth pandemic since since then. And there’s a lot of similarities. But the bottom line is I got involved in viral pathology, how viruses caused disease, it was I and I, NIH funded research and how HIV got transmitted both the babies and and tpo women. And of course, that was an intimate relationship between virus and immune system. And actually, in the early days of HIV, the immunologist never spoke to the virologist. And I think I was, I was in the middle, thankfully, because I, there was two sides of the equation. And that’s absolutely true in in COVID, were in the begnning the disease virologic and then it very quickly morphs into an immune pathogenesis disease. And of course, we all know about the cytokine storm, etc, and what that can do in terms of damage and the interplay between the different arms of the immune system, the innate immune system, which is against pathogens that we’ve never seen before, which is where COVID fits. And then later on adaptive immunity, and cell mediated immunity, antibody based immunity, those are all topics that are on the tip of our tongues now with COVID. And I tell people that as much as HIV started the molecular revolution in medicine is especially in cancer. I think COVID really starting a new revolution in immunologic medicine, of course, that encompasses COVID, post Lyme, fibromyalgia, MECFS, and other post infectious conditions, even autoimmunity, which we’ve, you know, we’re we may have to revisit based on some of our discoveries.
Debra Muth 7:17That’s a great story. What kind of similarities Have you seen from the HIV world to the COVID world?
Bruce Patterson 7:23Well, again, it’s the similarities are that we have a virus that mutates readily, and the the issues that arise because of me, there’s there’s never been an HIV vaccine. There’s never been HIV neutralizing antibodie...
Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Deb discuss the immune system and how being exposed to viral loads or multiple viruses can hijack your immune system and cause neurological symptoms.
Do not miss these highlights:
[04:50] You cannot fix an illness or disease if you don’t get to the bottom of it
[09:23] The need to start testing and look for viruses in a lot of these patients as an underlying problem
[10:00] If the underlying problem will not be treated, symptoms will keep on recurring and the infection or the virus will reactivate
[11:59] Neuroinflammation seen in autistic kids
[16:38] Could vaccines potentially cause some autoimmune issues?
[18:06] How this COVID vaccine system contradicts medical rules and regulations
[26:49] Using COVID to separate patients from their relatives is a massive abuse of patient rights
[32:25] What Dr. Goldberg thinks about the multiple vaccines given at the same time
[44:13] 50% or more of our young people will be disabled because we’re not fixing their health problems
[48:50] You irritate the stomach, the brain becomes more vulnerable to a seizure and will trigger the immune system attacking the brain

Welcome back to Let’s Talk wellness. Now I’m your host, Dr. Deb, and today I’m speaking with Dr. Michael Goldberg. Dr. Goldberg is board certified pediatrics, fellow American Academy of Pediatrics and an author he is known as the neuro immune doctor. We are going to talk today about the neural immune system and autism and how these two things are linked. So he’s going to share with us some research and some protocols that we can actually implement to treat immune dysfunction. This could not come at a better time for us as we’re talking about supporting the immune system, keeping things strong, keeping things healthy. And I am so honored to be talking to Dr. Goldberg today.
Debra Muth 1:18I’m Dr. Deb, founder of serenity Health Care Center. I want to thank you for joining our Let’s Talk Wellness now podcast. It has been such a pleasure to share our knowledge. Debra Muth 1:42While Welcome back, this is Dr. Deb host from Let’s Talk Wellness. Now I have Dr. Goldberg with me today, this is going to be a treat you guys we are going to have some great conversations. And we’re going to apologize up front that if we get a little heated on this, because we’re both very passionate about health care and wellness and taking care of people. And it’s been a little bit of a struggle in our industry these days. So Dr. Goldberg, welcome to the show.
Dr. Michael J. Goldberg 1:57It is absolutely a pleasure to be here, Debra. And I’m glad you gave viewers the warning. Because when we touch into some of these subjects, I find myself so frustrated, and I feel like we’re living in a medical world that didn’t exist when I trained. I’m still proud today, I trained medical school, UCLA. And to this day, I respect my training, the doctors and the principles I was taught. However, shortly after graduating, I start watching a change of things. And by the early 80’s, it was very obvious that the medical system was not focusing on the right problems. There’s a lot of issues behind that. And I have been spending roughly the last 35 for years, it tried to show one that what my wife had something mistakenly called chronic fatigue syndrome. A facetious term Yuppie flu was the start of a major medical pandemic that has been missed by this system. And I am openly saying to people, if you understand these Miss viruses, you lay the mistaken foundation for calling a lot of children on the Autistic spectrum. And you really start to explain the real problem with COVID. So you your introduction is excellent. I am very frustrated. And I welcome any and all questions to find out.
Dr. Michael J. Goldberg 3:53That is so great, thank you so much. And I think it’s a great opening for us to, you know, have this discussion about how did how did medicine change? You know, I don’t want to say medicine has gotten stupid, but it kind of has like we stopped looking for the underlying cause somewhere along the lines in the last 25 years and started just taking care of people by this symptom, this drug and we stopped looking for the cause.
Dr. Michael J. Goldberg 4:47You couldn’t say that better my philosophy ad infinitum is you cannot fix an illness or disease. If you don’t get to the bottom of it, what is the problem and While I’ll say something, this is very, very open for debates out there and discussion, when you try to look back and say, what really happened, okay? Beyond the mistake, forgive me of HMO medicine where they started going ABCD. And if you don’t have that, we don’t know what’s wrong with you. And as probably you did, and I did we trained in a system where we’re as a, as a professional, you were supposed to get answers, not tell someone you didn’t know. Now, what I have been told over many years, I tend to believe right now is this started, when literally HIV hit the scenes. And around the same time HIV hit, there was an opening for an organism I had just started to hear about in medical school, something called HHV. Six. And in medical school, we were literally just touching on the opening, that this virus might explain Roseola a whole family of higher order, Herpes viruses may create illness. And then what I have to say, as the only rational statement I’ve heard is, some very powerful people in the early 80s did not want to confuse HHV, six M HIV. And from there have just shut out any and all research looking at these viruses. And when you say what’s happened over these years, I can tell you concluded by this issues right now with long COVID This medical system is doing every bit of research it can and never connecting the dots clinically, and never really trying to get an answer. How can you solve a problem if you don’t test for viruses, which were literally one, you know, part of 1/5 of medical illnesses in the infectious disease viral direction? So I apologize, but it’s been very frustrating.
Debra Muth 7:09Yeah.You know, and I see a very similar system happening to what ...

Natasha C Dewhirst 4:24Okay, well, again, very interesting how everything kind of links back to, you know, how we take care of ourselves and where we end up. And so for me, I had a long journey playing dancing with burnout during my career. And the culmination of that which we may go into in a minute was setting up my company, because I had found that when I was in the midst of burnout that the support out there just wasn’t quite pulling me where I needed to go and I My, my doctor was fantastic. But she was, you know, she was dealing with a lot of people. And our hospital system were kind of like, Well, you know, we can’t find anything coming up in your bloods, but we can see that you’re in this place of being completely exhausted and worn out. So how about you just go rest. And you know, and I knew that there was just a bit more to it. And it took me so long to keep reading and keep listening to people thought leaders, you know, how you know, the mind and the body are connected, and how past experiences, even though we may not have seen them as particularly significant to set up these beliefs and the stories that then live our lives. And so when I really kind of held myself, and then saw how complex that journey had been, and how long it took, I was like, I don’t want anybody else to have to spend that long trying to get themselves back into where they need to be. So I felt called at that point to set up my company.
Debra Muth 6:09Oh, that’s a great story. And I think that’s how a lot of women start their companies, right? They’re looking for our solution for themselves or their families, and they can’t find it. And a lot of amazing companies are birthed out of that problem, because we have a solution for something.
Natasha C Dewhirst 6:27Absolutely. And of course, when you’re in burnout, or you’re completely stressed out, and you’re exhausted, you know, it’s very hard to do that research and find, and so you know, to provide that kind of weigh in and provide some easy free information for people. So they’re on the right track that, you know, it’s such a gift to offer that. Absolutely.
Debra Muth 6:48And it really helps us get out of our hole to write because we’re looking for solutions for ourselves. If we have it, we know o...

He is an academic position in Dallas, Texas. Thank you so much for joining us today.
Dr. Peter McCullough 3:25
Well, thanks for having me. I’m a practicing internist and cardiologist in Dallas maintain my boards in both specialties and very involved editor of a major journal editor of a major medical society. I’ve been focusing on heart and kidney disease throughout my career, but the last near nearly two years now have been completely dedicated to the pandemic response and COVID-19 both on early treatment and on vaccine safety and efficacy.
Debra Muth 3:50
Well thank you for that. That is amazing. And I’d love First I want to say thank you for your protocol because we’ve been using your protocol in our practice. And thank you to that because none of our patients have ended up in the hospital with it. So we’re very blessed to be using that protocol. It’s been really amazing. So tell us a little bit about what got you into this realm of treating patients that had either complications after they had COVID or keeping them from having complications. And I know you’re also doing some Vaccine Injury so we can talk about that a little bit to
Dr. Peter McCullough 4:24
It the biggest update I have and where we are late to the game on this but this is very important for the listeners is oral and nasal viral Seidel rinses and washes This is really important. The rest of the world has been doing this it was a breakthrough a clinical trial by Choudhury and colleagues prospective randomized trial 606 individuals who were coming down with COVID-19 they were coming down with it, and they were randomized to dilute 1% povidone iodine or better dine washes in the mouth, nasal sprays and even eye drops and they were able to reduce Incipio infection by about 75% on there’s other supportive studies showing, you know, we’ve been focusing on hand sanitizers and masks, we haven’t been focusing on the virus in the nose in the mouth. The virus sets up camp in the nose in the mouth for about three or four days before it actually takes off as the infection there’s an opportunity to zap it. So we now recommend twice a day for those who are still susceptible. So this would be the vaccinated and the unvaccinated who have not had the respiratory infection. All those susceptible people, they should use 1% povidone iodine, a few drops in a juice glass of water gargle it, spit it out. nasal sprays do that twice a day. If iodine sensitive can use dilute hydrogen peroxide, even dilute sodium hypochlorite one or two drops of bleach and a gluttonous just glass of water will follow up by Listerine or sculpt because it freshens the mouth and also it is additionally virus Seidel but do that twice a day if exposed to COVID-19 then ramp it up to four times a day for three days. And if early sick with COVID-19 I have all my patients do this as a starter. It reduces the viral load in the nose mouth and also reduces their ability to spread it to others in the household.
Debra Muth 6:08
That’s amazing. That is so good because it’s so easy right and I’ve been doing this for years when I travel on a plane. I have an essential oil nasal spray that I use in some glycerin base and I spray it before I get on the plane I spray it after and knock on wood since I’ve been doing it for years. I’ve never caught anything on a plane. And essential oils comes with a little bit of a bite if you spray that up your nose where Peroxide and Iodine those things aren’t so bad. They don’t cause irritation that you don’t even really know you’re doing anything with it
Dr. Peter McCullough 6:38
Yup but very dilute I’ve had a few patients just use it almost straight to say don’t know importantly, these things work and you know, in Finland, they have an approved nasal spray that’s antibodies. It’s an antibody nasal spray against COVID-19. So so people are using innovative, oral and nasal approaches right now it makes sense. There is a paper from the Wisconsin Department of Public Health. The first author is Ryan Mirza. And that paper showed in the vaccinated and unvaccinated with a Delta variant, large viral loads large and so the vaccinated need to use this approach just like the unvaccinated they’re equal in terms of carrying the virus. Yeah,
Debra Muth 7:22
I think that’s one of the things that we’re seeing that people who are vaccinated think they’re safe, and they’re okay. Because they’re vaccinated because that’s what technically a vaccine is supposed to do is protect us from getting ill, but this particular one doesn’t. And so a lot of my patients who are vaccinated just say, Well, I don’t have to worry about anything and it’s like, Hmm. No, you do have to worry about it, especially if you’ve not gotten sick with the virus. Yes.
Dr. Peter McCullough 7:46
I’d agree with that. You’re on the CDC tells Americans as of August 30 2021, you know, they don’t have every case, but they’ve got really well characterized cases from the, from the Department’s of Public Health. That report in the CDC is telling Americans 12,908 Americans have been fully vaccinated, and they’ve developed COVID-19. Sadly, of that number 2,437 have died, and 10,471 have been hospitalized and then potentially died thereafter. An 87% of those who died are over age 65. 70% of those hospitalized over 65. So the CDC is telling Americans that the vaccines don’t protect against hospitalization and death in everyone. And in fact, everybody should be on guard. I’ve had my patients I’ve even had patients who have taken the booster now, and they’ve developed COVID-19. So we need to treat early and we cannot assume the vaccine is going to protect anyone.
Debra Muth 8:43
Yeah, that is so true. So you’re a Cardiologist and a Kidney Specialist. What are you seeing long term with people who either have had COVID or maybe are vaccine injured? Are you seeing cardiac and kidney long term effects?
Dr. Peter McCullough 8:59
Let’s take the kidney first. I’m an Internist and Cardiologist but you’re right I focus on kidney disease. I’m the president of the Cardio Renal Side of America. What we know there is a paper from Northwell Health on Long Island. Fishbane is one of the authors Dr. Fishman and Nephrologist demonstrated there is acute kidney injury that occurs with COVID-19 in the hospital. Other studies have shown the virus can end up in the urine. So we know the virus does attack the kidneys. But the kidneys in many ways are the victim of other toxicity. So Remdesivir used in the hospital has renal toxicity, so do some other medications used. And if patients can get by in the hospital without acute kidney injury they do find at home, there isn’t any signal of long term kidney damage. The same is not true for the heart. The heart is very different. We know what the natural infection that there can be an elevation in opponent as well as some signs and symptoms of what’s considered heart injury. The Chinese called a cardiac injury with the virus. But very importantly, the elevations in opponent are low. Follow up MRI studies show that this ICU type of cardiac injury to the heart is negligible provided people survive. And then if we fast forward to the vaccines, it’s very different. The vaccines give a very large dose of spike protein because the messenger RNA or ad no viral DNA tricks the body in a mosaic of cells to produce the spike protein, probably in much larger quantities than one would experience with the natural infection. We know that because the antibodies that are generated after vaccination are way higher than they are with the natural infection they fall off quickly. But the spike protein exposure to the body must be significant. It’s measurable in blood is shown by Ogata and colleagues from Harvard for at least two weeks. If the vaccine sets up shop in the heart, and the heart begins to produce the spike protein then is expressed on the cell surface the body attacks heart muscle cells and satellite cells called Parasites. And then heart inflammation starts with it’s not a good thing to have inflammation of the heart, and then there can be heart damage. Now the opponent levels that we measure in vaccine Myocarditis are way higher than the natural infection. And the evidence we see an EKG and Echocardiogram suggests that the vaccine and do smart carditis is far more serious than anything we see with the natural infection.
Debra Muth 11:23
Is there anything people can do if they do want to take the vaccine, but they’re concerned about heart issues? Maybe they have a strong family history of cardiac Is there anything they can do to protect themselves when they’re getting the vaccine and doing the things that’s supposed to do inside their body to reduce that inflammation?
Dr. Peter McCullough 11:40
I say first up, get good advice and see a Cardiologist. I’m concerned I’ve seen patients who’ve had chemotherapy induced cardiac toxicity in the past prior genetic cardiomyopathies other structural heart disease. Well, we know there if there’s any baseline problem with the heart, and then we add on to it. vaccine induced my carditis when it happens, and the FDA tells us it can for Pfizer, Madonna, there’s official warnings, patients can be taken into a spiral in a sense. So you’re already set up for a concern regarding injury, and then it happens. So the most obvious example would be a heart transplant candidate. I was asked this on FOX news this week with Laura Ingram. What if there’s a heart transplant candidate, so they’re barely surviving and hearthfire waiting for transplnant. The last thing we want to do is have them get vaccine induced cardiac injury with Myocarditis that could actually end their lives before they get a chance to take a vaccine. So any heart transplant program that would advise that is, in my view, clearly giving the patient advice in the wrong direction for survival. We’d much rather if it came up now COVID can be avoided through careful measures, but COVID the respiratory illness is always treatable. It looks like the vaccine injuries are far less treatable across Cardiac, Neurologic and Immunologic spectrum of disease.
Debra Muth 13:04
Is there a timeframe that we’re going to see this cardiac damage occur with the vaccine? So if somebody gets past a certain date, are they safe? Or do we still need to be concerned for them?
Dr. Peter McCullough 13:16
I would reference counting colleagues, that is a paper published from the UC California. And their Myocarditis was evaluated through a variety of data systems. And what she showed is I’m sorry, as Tracy Hogue, who published it, HOHE That, that demonstrated that it occurs far more in younger men than women. And it’s really explosive after the second shot, a very explosive in the cases I’ve seen, that’s exactly what it is. It’s almost as if the body is primed. And then the second shot, it takes off, we don’t know what’s going to happen in when it happens, it appears serious. In the hug paper. 86% of people require hospitalization. So this is significant. In the original CDC data, they only had the CDC only had about 200 cases they reviewed, they reported 90% required hospitalization, and and then about a quarter had reduced heart pumping function left and sugar dysfunction. Now if we look at the current CDC data in the various vaccine event reporting system, we’re up to 6,812 cases of Myocarditis, Pericarditis. This is not rare. These look like they’re very serious cases. I know in young people, they’re very concerned because the young people have a negligible risk of COVID-19 hospitalization and death. And in fact, in the hope paper, she calculated, a young person is far more likely to be hospitalized with Myocarditis than they are to be hospitals with COVID-19 it’s a much better risk proposition to just get COVID-19 and get it over with as opposed to take the vaccine.
Debra Muth 14:57
And we don’t understand why it’s it’s hitting these younger males do we like there’s no reasoning why it would hit that population versus an older population? Is that correct?
Dr. Peter McCullough 15:08
You know, it’s unclear we know there is some gender relationships with the natural infection so men do a little bit worse with the respiratory infection. We know that androgens do influence some aspects of viral replication. It’s one of the reasons why the Brazilians innovated with use of anti androgens temporarily in treating acute COVID-19. But why in a young man would they take up messenger RNA in a pattern in the heart and begin to damage the heart not miss not exclusively men girls can get it to this predilection is something that we need to pursue. Any young man particularly a young athlete, ought to look at this very carefully because when this heart damage occurs, a lot of it can be subclinical, and we never know if the person gets back to completely get back to normal. My clinical experiences and those who have early evidence of heart failure, they do need drugs for a period of time about three to six months as our guidelines say they cannot have physical activity, they have to have follow up component EKG echocardiography, I add in I also measure some biomarkers for cardiac dysfunction including blood BMP, st two and galectin. Three and successfully, if patients can get through this period of time with the use of beta blockers renin angiotensin system inhibitors I’ve empirically used prednisone and colchicine to get patients through the illness, that we can restore things back to normal. And I think when an individual has no more signs of symptoms, all the biomarkers are normal. The EKG is normal. The echocardiogram or MRI is normal. I think we’re done. But that’s a lot for a young person to go through. We’re a vaccine, that’s basically for them. This is the common cold, why would they have to go through all that, for such for such a simple illness? Young kids get four to six colds a year anyway, they can’t tell the difference between a common cold and COVID.
Debra Muth 17:02
Now well, these people have lifelong problems with their heart. I mean, obviously, we don’t know. But we can suspect if they have a mild carditis they are at higher risk for other heart issues as they age cracked.
Dr. Peter McCullough 17:14
We don’t know that. We’re hopeful that it’s just you know, it’s a one time illness is transient, there’s no permanent mark, if we see a reduced ejection fraction, if we see evidence of scarring in the heart, and I would be concerned if someone had baseline cardiomyopathy, let’s say a young person has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, that’s one in 500 have that condition or someone has a Titan mutation. We know in the idiopathic Cardiomyopathy, these are genetic mutations called Titan in about 80% of the non ischemic group, these people would be the setup for future problems of the heart. The other principle is, if there has been prior myocarditis under no circumstances would we want to have another case of myocarditis. So this has happened if what if somebody had COVID-19? They’ve had subtle myocardial COVID-19? They’re fine. Should they take the COVID-19 vaccines? I’d say under no circumstances because once you’ve had COVID-19, you can’t get it a second time. So there’s, there’s really no no risk to that individual. And if you just take the vaccine for the heck of it, and then go ahead and Primus system, one is inviting a second case of myocarditis. And in general, when my occurred, it strikes for the second time it can be fatal.
Debra Muth 18:28
Well, there’s also some clotting issues that we’re seeing with the vaccine. I know we see some of that with the infection itself. I’ve had a few patients who have developed clotting when they after they’ve had COVID or during their COVID episode, but almost every patient I’ve had that has had that has tested positive for something like lupus anticoagulant disorder or some other clotting issue. But we’re also seeing that with the vaccine too. How do you recommend people navigate that? I know I’ve heard you talk about it before like doing some testing shortly after. Can you talk a little bit about that?
Dr. Peter McCullough 19:03
Yeah, you hit on a good point. So blood disorders are common, particularly clotting disorders. The most common one in Caucasian people like me is factor five Leiden, but there are others as Prothrombin variant 2021-A factor. Other factor abnormalities, protein CNS deficiency, as an example of this Fibrogen Anemia, these blood disorders, or a predilection to blood clotting, let’s say somebody already had a blood clot in their legs, for instance, where they have atrial fibrillation, they’re at risk from blood clotting, or they’ve already had a thrombo embolic stroke, watch out, because both the respiratory infection and the vaccines are very pro coagulant. They’re very blood clot provoking, and so I’m extremely concerned. So for instance, if I have a patient with factor five lighting and they get the respiratory illness, I do not waste any time I put them immediately on Lovenox, or Oral Anticoagulants, someone who is contemplating the vaccine They need to understand that they could get in trouble assess a patient effector five leidner per thrombin variant. With the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and the AstraZeneca vaccine. There are official warnings that the ad no viral mechanism is probably even more pro thrombotic than other mechanisms. However, with Pfizer Madonna, the safety reports are really loaded with a whole variety of thrombotic syndromes including partial portal vein thrombosis in the abdomen, and deep venous thrombosis as of September 24,2021. The CDC is telling us that we’ve had 7,582 heart attacks provoked afterwards, we’ve had 3,427 cases of what’s called Thrombocytopenia, low platelets. Paradoxically, some of these thrombotic events occur in what’s called vaccine induced Thrombocytopenic Purpura, this is actually now a new disease caused by the vaccines. And here, the body is tricked into getting excessive antigenic presentation of platelets and they form antibodies against platelet factor for that pins down the platelets against the blood vessel wall and provokes a thrombosis in this setting of thrombocytopenia. So this is called VITT, it’s a new disease. And unlike the other forms of vaccine injuries, it usually occurs about two weeks afterwards. So if patients about two weeks after injection, start to get blood in their urine, easy bleeding, end up with a stroke or a heart attack immediately suspect VITT and then one would need a complete blood count for the general assessment of hypercoagulability with a natural infection. And now with the vaccine, the test we do is actually the D dimer. Because the spike protein attaches to silac acid residues on the surface of red blood cells, as shown by David shine, who’s a former NIH researcher, we know the micro thrombosis is this unique part of the procoagulant aspect of both the vaccine and of the respiratory infections due to the spike protein, what triggers our recognition is the D dimer. So again, with the natural infection, and even post vaccine were on high alert for thrombotic complications when the D dimer is above the reference range.
Debra Muth 22:13
Wow. Are you seeing your colleagues actually be proactive and checking these numbers in cases of people who are at risk or have concerns? Or are they just ignoring some of the things that we know to do naturally because someone has COVID?
Dr. Peter McCullough 22:30
We haven’t had a report from our CDC and FDA from the very beginning. I think that minimum expectations would be monthly reports on safety. So the sponsors of the program, they have all the data, they should be giving doctor’s safety reports at least once a month, what what should we be checking after the vaccine? What what’s the standard medical evaluation look like for a Vaccine Injury? How far should we go? When should we get CNS imaging for instance, with the neurologic syndromes? When should we get Thrombin EKGs echocardiograms with the cardiac syndromes, you know there’s a whole new disease category that’s been created with the vaccines and the people hold out the data are the the CDC and the FDA and they should be providing guidance. Now, Academicians are getting data into the literature to make us understand these syndromes. One of them was published in the journal hypertension, and was one of very good journals in Cardiology, showing that in patients who received the vaccine, and they have pre existing hypertension, they can have a skyrocketing blood pressure, and then had it have catastrophic consequences, including cerebral hemorrhage. One of these cases was on Fox News with Laura ingram. Several months ago, a woman in her 70’s, who had this on the second injection of a messenger RNA vaccine is devastated. She is neurologically devastated and paralyzed on one side. And then in our circles in Dallas, where we have a 42 year old man, perfectly healthy, took the second shot of messenger RNA vaccines and suffered a an Aortic dissection, that was probably triggered by severe hypertension after the vaccine. So we have a whole array of what’s called vaccine reaction risks. And that’s when doctors evaluate the risks and benefits of the vaccine. They weigh out these risks. That is the consequences. The general principles are, if there’s already injury in an organ system that is at risk for the vaccine, that consequences could be worse. So let’s say somebody who has multiple sclerosis or a prior stroke, or epilepsy or migraine headaches, or they already have some hearing loss or vision loss, well, then everything’s amplified, right? So they take the vaccine and they have any additional injury. We’re in trouble. Let’s say somebody has previously had gamma ray syndrome. Well, now we’re really asking for it right because now this person is already shown the Predilection or or Cervical Myelitis What have you ever had a young man who already had some degree of paralytic injury to lower extremity it was markedly worse than after vaccination. I saw a patient yesterday in my office This who had a Dystonia and was concerned Well, you know, I don’t know the relationships, but she’s already neurologically impaired. She was struggling in the exam. And I can tell you what if she takes a neurologic injury, clearly patients with prior cardiomyopathy, prior heart failure, prior myocardial infarction, prior stroke, all of these things, set the patient up for a vaccine induced injury or have a greater expression of it if it happens.
Debra Muth 25:24
And yet, what the CDC and the FDA are saying is, these are the people that are at risk. These are the people that should be taking the vaccine. And yet what we’re seeing clinically is so different how to how to patients understand if they have two polarizing opposites, telling them what to do.
Dr. Peter McCullough 25:44
I don’t disagree with the comments that the seniors are risk for COVID-19. There’s no doubt about it. They’re the ones who are getting hospitalized. They’re the ones who are dying, not the kids. So the senior so I agree with that. So but the seniors also are the ones that are most at risk for these really fatal vaccine injuries analysis by McLaughlin and colleagues from London has shown that this seniors are the ones that are taking the brunt of the vaccine induced deaths by 86% of the time, there’s no other explanation for why they died, they took the vaccine, 50% of them die within 48 hours. 80% die within a week. So it’s heartbreaking that they’re facing the risks of dying with COVID. And they’re facing the risks of dying with the vaccine. So I think it’s an individual choice. The stakes are so high, we certainly can’t have the vaccine mandated. I mean when you can imagine heavy and dated on you or your family member and then they die because of the mandated product. So we know mandates in no way shape or form can be acceptable, because the risks of death and permanent disability are so high.
Debra Muth 26:45
And we should be advocating for early treatment or prevention. India is doing a great job giving their people prophylactic antibiotics and ivermectin and a few other things, and their cases are dropping drastically. But here we’re still saying you can’t use Ivermectin, President Biden’s still saying we’re not going to stop the import into this country, when we have a very inexpensive drug that could very much help almost everybody.
Dr. Peter McCullough 27:13
I agree with that. But I would make the point that neither Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine are necessary nor sufficient to treat the illness. So your doctor Chetty in South Africa, Dr. Brett dios in South America, they’ve really been innovative. They use protocols that don’t rely on those two drugs, we have to use a few other drugs in that middle phase to reduce inflammation. So ones that come into use are Cyproheptadine, Montelukast, and the Anti Androgens in the middle layer. But one can get by without those drugs. That the point is in the countries that really do have good early treatment programs. And one now is Italy. They were they were off track for a while, but Italy, you know, their Delta curve was less than 25% of their first wave that explanation wave. In Israel, they’re doing a terrible job with early treatment, highly vaccinated, their Delta wave is bigger than their pre vaccination wave. In the United States, our delta wave turned out to be about 75% of our December pre vaccination wave we did better with early treatment, we’ve kept mortalities down. Americans did not hear about the hospitals being overloaded, thank goodness. So we’re doing better with early treatment. But the message from your show to the listeners is everybody needs to be about where about early treatment, go get the download the treatment guides to for Health Foundation to for Health.org has one, the Association of American physicians surgeons aaps online.org has done, you know, Frontline Critical Care Consortium flcc dotnet. There are wonderful organizations, anybody types in COVID home treatment guy, get the guide, get the nutraceuticals get full dose aspirin, get the oral and nasal disinfect disinfected program going and get ready for COVID-19. I have patients that are in their upper 80’s right now that I’m managing my practice, I’m able to do it, they’re able to get through it at home. They’re grateful I can tell you, these patients with no treatment, they are destined to end up in the hospital on the ventilators that we must treat early at home Americans know that.

About our Guest:
Vanessa Ford, cofounder of Menolabs, focuses on women’s issues during the perimenopausal/menopausal transition. Vanessa was prompted to action when, at 44, she began her own transition into menopause. Unsatisfied with the lack of support that women experience during this stage of life, and finding the stereotypes of women in mid-life exasperating and insulting, she created MenoLabs to address what she sees as a glaring need in every woman’s life.
Professionally, Vanessa has served as Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Customer Service and Public
Relations, among other titles. She also has a background of startup and nonprofit experience, working for underserved populations in the animal welfare field, as well as women’s issues. Vanessa has served on a variety of nonprofit, public relations, and marketing boards, and has served as the head of many civic engagement projects.
Vanessa’s personal experience with menopause and her driving passion for moving the conversations around menopause forward mean that Vanessa is a driving force in everything MenoLabs does, from product formulations, to app creation, to being the face of the brand in informative videos and across social media.
“Because I’m going through this myself, right now, in the moment, I feel a real and pressing desire to find out all I can about menopause and what other women are going through, and I want to help them find the answers that they’re looking for. I know how frustrating it can be to try to go this alone, and I know we can do better. And that’s what MenoLabs is about – making life and the transition to menopause better and easier for every single woman.”

As you guys know, I love to talk about women’s health and menopause is one of my favorite topics. And I get to talk to a lady who loves this topic herself. So Vanessa, welcome to the show.
Vanessa Ford 3:10Well, thanks for having me. Dr. Deb. I’m really excited to talk about menopause with someone who is equally as excited as I am about the topic. It’s not It’s not every woman who wants to, you know, jump in and talk about applause.
Debra Muth 3:22Isn’t that the truth, right? Most of the time, we’re trying to figure out how can we just forget that part of our lives is an existence at this point. So Vanessa, you’ve got an interesting story. Tell us how you got on this journey of menopause?
Vanessa Ford 3:42Well, you know, I did not so I had heard about menopause, right? Growing up, but I didn’t know a lot about it. I knew you were supposed to not have periods anymore and you might get some hot flashes and I think that’s not an uncommon concept about what menopause is right? Especially when you’re not in it. But when I was 4344 I had a three week period and it wasn’t just you know, I had some spotting for three weeks that kind of thing it was full on I’m having a period period about about two and a half weeks in I was I was freaking out I thought I had cancer because cancer runs in my family there is a serious risk of cancer for me genetically. So I was pretty flipped out and I called my doctor and a psychotic come in I got to have tests and she said Okay, come in we’ll do tests but it’s probably okay don’t panic right but we’ll do the test. Absolutely. So of course it took a you know a week to get in and by then I don’t have a period anymore and I’m and I’m totally fine. And I tell her I think I overreacted. And she said, No, no, let’s do the test. But you’re 44 and it’s probably just perimenopause. And I was like, What do you mean just perimenopause. First, I don’t know what perimenopause is. And there is nothing just about I am experiencing. And that got me. So she she sat me down to tell me what perimenopause was. She put me on the road to some research because I’m an academic, by heart. And she said, here, go do some research. here’s, here’s what you need to know. And I started researching and started realizing all of these things that I had just been chalking up to like PMS, like that menopausal rage that you can feel, right? The end, the brain fog, and the insomnia. Were all due to perimenopause and my decrease in hormones. And I realized that there was probably something we could do about it. I started putting a bunch of pills together, I was taking 2832 different pills in combination at one point. And I reached out to my friend, Danielle, and I said, There’s got to be a better way we should we should be able to put this in a pill. Danielle has a ton of business experience. She’s been doing fortune 500 companies and that sort of thing for her whole life. And I said, Do you think there’s a company here? Do you think we could find a solution. And we both agreed that there, there was a problem here that needed to be solved, I couldn’t find a solution. So we decided to come up with one ourselves, because neither one of us is a woman who is willing to you ...

This is Dr. Deb you’re listening to let’s talk wellness now and I am with Doug setter. I’m so excited to have a conversation with him today. So Doug, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Doug Setter 3:35Yeah, I was in the army. I did some peacekeeping over the UN. I was one of these, you know, original, weak teenagers. You see the ads for I was like 116 pounds trying to get the army and I get knocked around a bit and then I eventually got healthier and stronger. And I learned kickboxing and I competed in Canada. I competed in Hong Kong and got very fit and I noticed certain things about self defense and it wasn’t just fighting it was just being your awareness like we did in the military. We always had, you know protection and we always we did patrols we thought ahead. And so I found that entrance I wrote a book called one less victim guide to crime prevention. And I taught first self defense and I taught some local women’s kickboxing is a lot of fun, by the way, really good turnout for that and that’s about it. I just I do Personal Training, I write books I stay ahead of the game, but I have found health and people’s attitude. Were very important. And you know, as I noticed as people got stronger and fitter, they took less nonsense, if you will. So it all ties in your self esteem, your self worth your health.
Debra Muth 5:00You You were a crime reporter for a while
Doug Setter 5:03Yes.
Debra Muth 5:04What did you see? I’m assuming you saw some patterns to things and just before we came on live we were talking about that victim mentality Can you tell us a little bit about where you see that victim mentality coming from and what it does to people when they can’t get out of it?
Doug Setter 5:22That’s a good point. You know, one thing I used to do in my students is let’s look at a crowd and immediately people are consistently picking out that that that victim and they’re the person who awkward head down they sometimes have physical disability like the lamp they’re just right away you can see there’s a predators praise it’s quite sad really. And there’s a process and you want to break up this process and I found it’s interesting because yesterday I just got approached I almost got scammed. And I thought Wait a minute, I’m being scammed here and there’s a process first there’s a bad intention you have someone who’s you can tell right away I can usually pick some of them I’ll etailers someone up to no good and the other part I learned the hard way as a kid was what they call self defense experts call the interview and you’re being interviewed being checked out you’re being like a you know when a stray dog come up to you and he kind of sniffs trying to decide whether or not they can you know intimidate you or attacking you so that’s the most important part and this can be in case of women unfortunately I see some guys be very aggressive with them and see where they can push right they do these subtle things and I noticed that and with guys sometime your mind your business someone throws an insult at you and and I’ve had to bite my tongue because well can you see there’s three of their friends standing off to the side so they’re trying to set you up they’re trying to steal your racket and if I go yeah okay no time how you doing Hey nice shirt there’s look a disappointment right and then we get into positioning already decide so usually if someone wants to do harm they want to be in a situation where they don’t get hurt you know they don’t they will try to get you somewhere private if you will. And then they want an escape route and this is something I’ve noticed and and I know in the bar scene guys would tell me as someone intimidates him the next thing you know we get two or three guys Malina is one guy, no setup, so we want to watch the positioning we don’t want to go somewhere alone. We don’t want to get stuck in the stairway want to not go into our apartment? If you suspect someone’s doing it you go back to your car you know if you suspect a friend of a friend has bad intentions leave you you drive the police station whatever but you go away from that situation and what we do is we a lot of times you’re very very oh I don’t want to offend people all you know and yesterday I had a bit of that guy trying to take money off me and he was being very more he was trying he said he was selling or he was looking for donations for the Red Cross. Well I’ve been overseas the Red Cross they go into disaster if they don’t ask for money and became very aggressive and I then I kind of clicked in wait a minute this this this person they’re not being legit and so I kind of sent it back to them then call the police but it was interesting so I digress we’re in now we’re in positioning so you’ve got two or three people and you have a stronger male you know maybe it’s I’m gonna be very blunt with you it’s probably the college football captain who was intimidating this young you know university student and no

Gary Martinez 2:30Thanks, Dr. Deb, happy to be here.
Debra Muth 2:32Thank you. So tell us a little bit about yourself.
Gary Martinez 2:36Alright, so I am a father of two I have a 11 year old son and Christian and then a 15 year old daughter named Monica. I’ve been a personal fitness trainer since 2012 2014, I decided to go independent so I can work at my own work on my own schedule, and have more time for my kids and so I can also reach more people and work with different populations. I do also have a massage background, So that kind of helps in ties in with what I do with, especially with my daughter, Monica.
Debra Muth 3:12Oh, that’s awesome.
Gary Martinez 3:14That’s that’s a short quick on me.
Debra Muth 3:16Awesome. So how did you get interested into helping in the autism world?
Gary Martinez 3:24Because it’s our everyday journey, you know, with myself and my daughter, Monica is just, you know, in the very beginning, when we were diagnosed, I didn’t know anything. I didn’t know what that word was, you know, what is autism. But we also do have sensory processing disorder. So I didn’t know what those what is that language and just that in the beginning, my daughter could not talk. So she was suffering, having meltdowns, and I felt like a helpless, pretty much a worthless parent. So I wanted to take the step where I was like, okay, you need to become an athlete for your daughter’s life. So that got me involved in starting with self education by going to our first therapies. And then on my own, staying up really late and just doing a lot of self education to learn a lot more through books and articles and then going to conferences, and that was the starting point for me was to still learn more to sock and help my daughter.
Debra Muth 4:21So your daughter Monica has been diagnosed with autism. How old was she when she was diagnosed?
Gary Martinez 4:27That question right there. It’s kind of hard because we had to go to different doctors, different specialists. But I know we started our therapies around 2013 I want to say, so it’s right around that time. So we’re gonna say like we’ll say roughly like around six.
Debra Muth 4:46It’s really difficult to get an autism diagnosis early on. Right? Yeah, exactly. It’s very challenging. I think people don’t want to give that diagnosis very easily. But unfortunately, when that happens, that also means you don’t get access to the services that you need for your daughter or your child to heal and to have abilities to learn things or do things better, because those services aren’t available until you have that diagnosis.
Gary Martinez 5:19True. And for us, I think we were delayed a little bit because what I’ve learned is a lot of times girls get diagnosed later, because a lot of time they say, Well, you know, they’re just, they’re just being a girl, you know, she’s being a little ditzy. You know, with Monica’s older sister at that time, who’s two years older than her, she started out as a very shy child. So I was like, okay, maybe that might be true, but it wasn’t. So like you said, you know, we had to play catch up. Yeah.
Debra Muth 5:47Can you talk a little bit about what your experience was, like, going through that time of trying to get that diagnosis?
Gary Martinez 5:55It was just, it was very frustrating, you know, I was just a parent in panic mode. I didn’t know, basically, you know, what was going on, you know, we’re going this to this specialist and this specialists. And it was just, it was really hard. So I’m just glad that once we found out, no, we were diagnosed, that was our first step. And now we get to go to some of these early intervention therapies. And that was like the first step to learn about what actually helps Monica out?
Debra Muth 6:29What kind of advice would you give parents that are in that position that you were a few years ago, to maybe make that process easier? Or to advocate for their child differently? What have you learned now that you wish you would have known them? I guess, is the question.
Gary Martinez 6:44Okay. Yeah, it was just that, you know, there’s support groups, like in your city, that, you know, you can, if you’re on social media, you can, you know, you can type the word autism support and see what lands there and you know, that’s a way to start to meet people in a community to know that you’re not alone. And that, of course, people ask a lot of questions in there. And you can find our resources, like, if you have a, if that parent has a question about something like we’re, where can I go for this, or what people are going to help you in there. So that’s a directory, it’s a really good resource to help you out in the beginning. And, and you know, just during your whole entire journey.
Debra Muth 7:23So if somebody is suspecting their child is different, what would make them think to bring up to a practitioner, that they’re concerned about autism? What kinds of things did you see in Monica, that now looking back, you would say, Oh, yeah, you know, I maybe didn’t have an experience with autism. So I didn’t know. But now I would know, and I would tell a parent, Hey, your child’s exhibiting this, you might think about autism.
Gary Martinez 7:51Right? If they’re, you know, if you call your child’s name, and they’re not, they’re not answering you, after, you know, one time two times, three times that’s like, that’s like a flag right there. They, they’re just not there their body languages and like, towards you, when you’re trying to communicate with them. They’re more or less their own way, and they’re very isolated. Just doing something on their own. That’s, that’s very repetitive for them. It’s just, you know, that just looks a little different. You know,
Debra Muth 8:23Have you experienced what we call stimming? with Monica at all?
Gary Martinez 8:28Yes, yes. Yes. So, you know, flapping the hands rocking back and forth. walking in circles are, are the top three for us?
Debra Muth 8:39So some of those kinds of experiences when you see your child doing some of those things, obviously, some to extent could be normal, but when it’s an extended period of time, or you see them do that, when they’re maybe under a little more stress, or more agitated, would be something that a parent would want to watch for.
Gary Martinez 8:57Exactly, yeah...

Debra Muth 3:28Well, Welcome back, everybody. This is Dr. Deb from let’s talk wellness. Now I have Jody with me and I’m so excited to talk to her. We were talking a little bit on our break here and she is going to be a fabulous guest for you guys. So Jody, welcome.
Jodi Cohen 3:41Oh my gosh, thanks. Thanks for having me.
Debra Muth 3:43So Jody, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Jodi Cohen 3:47Yeah, so I my journey into health was really driven by my own personal experiences. I, I bought I was healthy, and I had my first kid who was easy. And then I had my second kid who was not. And I was reading every parenting book I could find. And one day we were at a birthday party and a friend complimented me that my son was being well behaved. And then some other mom passed out for snack, I think it was Ritz crackers. And he chucklehead and took off in the other direction. And after I retrieved him she said I’ve never seen him flipped so quickly after food. My brother was on Ritalin his whole life. And it turned out he was just allergic to weird foods, you should take them to nutritionist. So I did. And it was life altering. You know, my kid went from not being able to look at my nose to being able to focus being calm, and it was so mind blowing to me that I went back and got a degree in nutrition and was trying to help other mothers. And then my bottom fell out my then husband attempted suicide and we needed to move him into a residential treatment facility and the moment that I I knew he was safe and it wasn’t his job to do my job to keep him alive It was like my adrenals could finally relax and so I really shut down it was slightly inconvenient because I was suddenly a single mom, the kids were five and seven, I had a full time job I was class parent and I could barely get out of bed. I would wake up with them, make them breakfast, pack their lunch, take them to school, come back home, crawl back into bed and set the alarm for pickup which was not sustainable and none of the nutritional remedies that I knew would support my adrenals really seem to be helping but luckily a good friend I had just helped her with a fundraiser and her thank you gift was a big box of essential oils so she came over and said these will help you you know you’ve been chronically stressed, which means chronically inflamed, and when your guts inflamed it’s really hard to be able to digest absorb and assimilate any kind of remedy through the digestive channel these work through the skin you know kind of like nicotine patches or hormone creams they when you smell them they work immediately and I thought why not you know I’ve got nothing to lose. So I had picked up this technique called muscle testing that it’s just an efficient way to ask questions of the body you know when you’re trying to help wiggly kids it was more efficient. So muscle tested boxes anything going to help my adrenals I got a good yes and I was like alright, that’s encouraging. And normally I’m able to narrow things down to one remedy but I kept getting the same five oils which confused me until it occurred to me Oh wait, they’re liquid I can combine them. So then I shifted gears and started asking me how many drops you know neutral oils grabbed a shot glass in my kitchen mixed my first blend knew that the adrenals were the most accessible on the low back. So put the blend on the low back and it was like a light switch was flipped and I was like oh, I could go reading I can go to the supermarket I could clean the house. I got more done in that day than I probably had in the previous month. And so once I kind of figured out oh this this works for me. I just started playing around you know I’d been practicing nutrition for a couple years at that point. I knew you know like if someone’s deficient in vitamin D that’s easy you supplement with vitamin D if someone is if their nervous system the autonomic nervous system has kind of which controls your automatic functions it has kind of two gears the I’m safe you know the body can heal or I’m in danger and I need to allocate resources towards survival and so many of us are stuck in that survival state which means that you know, there’s a lot of delayed maintenance going on so I started playing around with how do I shift people out of this sympathetic branch of the nervous system into the rest digest and heal parasympathetic branch and I basically just made things up that worked for me that my friends were like, Oh, we want to try it work for them, then they were think gosh, this is really interesting, you should do...
