It's Manny's turn up on the film choice as the triumphant winner of last week's competition round, and having to pick a PG rated horror flick, he picked a stonker...

The 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a classic tale of paranoia and extra terrestrial threat, which follows a health inspector and his laboratory scientist friend as they begin to suspect that thier friends and loved ones are suddenly acting differently, apparently drained of their humanity and emotion. An investigation appears to unveil a silent takeover from something not of this world...

The gang get their teeth into one of the best remakes of all time, comparing it to the 1956 original, and bathing in all the ick, kitsch and grit that we so dearly love in movies of this era.

The whole gang is back together, and this week they're covering one of the horror cornerstones of the 90's - Wes Craven's Scream!

A killer with a ghostface mask terrorises the totally made up town of Woodsboro, California... picking off the teenage population in a way that seems a little familiar. Particularly targeted by the anonymous fiend is Sidney Prescott, who is haunted by the brutal killing of her mother a year previous. But she hasn't seen anything yet...

We had a blast waxing lyrical about this satirical send up of slasher conventions, with tangents about the most terrifying animal scream, the Halloween costumes of our youth, and a few musings on the spoof of this spoof, Scary Movie. I'll be right back...

Another 'relaxed-fit' episode this week, with minimal editing and minus 1 shit-talker... With Robbie away, Roo and Manny attempt to take on the beast that is Rob Zombie's 'The Devils Rejects'. We thought it was about time, seeing as we covered 'House of 1000' way back in episode one aaand the third instalment in the series is set to drop later this year! We're pretty die-hard Zombie fans here at LWH, but listen in to see if this particular movie ranks among our most or least favourite...

We're baaaaack! AND BIGGER THAN EVER!! ... Well, not really. But we are covering two-in-one this week, kicking things back off with a Point.5 from 'our mate Dave'. Mater is a brand new short from the Teixeira family and if you were a fan of Ouroboros, you will not want to miss this. Afterwards we hit you up with some of our initial thoughts and feelings about the new Ari Aster movie, 'Midsommar'. NO spoilers included, so even if you haven't seen it yet, you should be safe!

The debate this month is a slightly different formula to usual, as the gang each chose their pick of a horror movie they would use to introduce a complete NEWB to the horror genre. It's an interesting one, especially as Rob, Roo and Manny each chose a compleeeetely different deal! One comedy-horror, one anthology and one supernatural drama... Listen as they go head to head, defending their selection and attempting to tear down the others! As always, the best Twitter comments from the debate poll have been included.

For our third and final week of World Cinema Month, Roo decided to go with something that none of the gang had seen yet, but have wanted to since it's release last year. Gaspar Noe brings us to 'Climax', with this demented, art-house mind-fuck... It really has to be seen to be believed. "Uncomfortable", "shocking" and "sick" are just a few of the words the LWH guys use to describe some of the goings-on... But you just have to experience it for yourself to know wtf we're on about. Luckily it's just dropped on Netflix, so you can do just that!

We're in full globetrotting mode for our World Cinema Month, and this weeks film is Manny's choice - he decided to bring the gang some Japanese technological terror with Kairo, more commonly known in English speaking markets as Pulse. A computer programmer who works for a plant shop in Tokyo goes missing for a week while working on some code. When his friend visits him to find out what happened, he is fine, if slightly off. But a few moments later he suddenly hangs himself. His friend brings the disk containing his code back to the store, unknowingly unleashing something otherworldly in the process...

The gang get thoroughly spooked by some genuinely frightening scenes, and try to untangle a labyrinthine plot in this weeks episode. "Death was... eternal loneliness..."

Well here it is...the last #Point5Production for a while! Don't think of this as the end...more of the finale of season 1 of the #Point5s. This movie is damn moody! Tear Us Apart (2019) will kick you in the feels..and then keep going. It deals with tough topic and really fills you with dread! Also there is a bit of a kick-ass twist. If you like drama style #Horror then you have to check this movie out.
