In 2004, Baltimore Maryland film students endeavour to create a documentary about the urban legend Peeping Tom, an entity who appears if you stare down a long dark tunnel for an hour without blinking. A filmmaker discovers their footage and attempts to bolster his waning career by creating the movie from his findings.

Rob, Roo, Manny & our lovely returning special guest Beth had a wonderful time with this twisty, multilayered take on a much maligned horror subgenre. It was great to see something from this corner of the horrorsphere with this many fresh ideas up it's sleeve - have a listen to us gush over it's awesomeness!

It's the final instalment of Guilty Pleasures month, and it's Manny's turn - he's decided to go for the oddity that is A Cure For Wellness, a tale of greed, isolation, illness and eels... Dane DeHaan plays a coldly ambitious executive sent by his superiors to retrieve his colleague from a mysterious Sanatorium is the Swiss Alps, but discovers upon arrival that something untoward may be happening...

Manny has to defend this 2 and a half hour long, bizarre and indulgent film to a less-than-impressed Rob & Ru, and they do have more than a few complaints... This one's gonna get roasty!

This week's Point Five is an absolute barnstormer! A wonderfully twisty and nasty offering from the people who bought us Glam, which we reviewed on a previous episode. A group of guys all chip in to buy, renovate, and flip a decrepit old house for profit, despite murmurings that the place has a dark past and a malevolent presence haunting it's halls - it's safe to say that this isn't going to be a regular job...

Taking a concept familiar to any hardened horror fan and turning it on it's head, we honestly had such a blast watching this one! If our review is even a fraction as much fun as the film itself, then we'll be happy.

GUILTY PLEASURE ROUND 2! This time round, it's Roo's turn, and she means business... Which is why she chose a film that she truly loves, while the boys clearrrrly feel quite differently... Shrooms is a mid-2000's drug-fuelled, psychological slasher that certainly divides opinion! Can she persuade them round to her way of thinking? Or will their criticisms grind her down into a drivelling mess of basically just "WELL I LIKE IT OKAY?!" Find out right here, right now.

Well... It is certainly safe to say that this was the raunchiest Point.5 we have done so far... Or even just the raunchiest horror we've covered full stop! Deadly Crush, directed by the talented Dakota Aesquivel and staring the gorgeous Aria London, is an erotic supernatural thriller that will leave you spooked and, well, let's just say THIRSTY. Deffo not one to watch with the family and deffo NSFW. Not that you should be watching horror movies when you're at work anyway. What are you, some kind of degenerate? Let's hope so. You need to be if you wanna jump on this wild ride of a movie!

Welcome to Let's Watch Horror's month of nutritious trash and so-bad-it's-good loveliness - it's Guilty Pleasure month, where each of the gang pick a film to watch and discuss that they enjoy which has been panned by fans & critics alike - and listen to them defend their choice against the acerbic criticisms of the other two. Are they idiots with rose-tinted spectacles and terrible taste? Or are their movies misunderstood diamonds in the rough?

This week, Rob picks the 2005 re-imagining of House of Wax - a slasher take of the concept from the 1953 Vincent Price classic of the same name. Featuring eerily realistic wax models, an insanely killable cast of hot twentysomethings, (including Paris Hilton at the height of her fame) a soundtrack loaded with pop punk & nu metal nostalgia, and a handful of satisfyingly gruesome deaths. Coming in from the awesome Michael Coulombe, Brantley J Brown and Horror House Media we have LOVE ME NOT! Another fresh Horror short..This one is double the length of the other 2 productions and has ALOT more dialogue. It is brilliant, every aspect is perfect from Vanessa Esperanza's acting to the costume design, everything makes this short a must watch. We cant wait to see what these guys do next! Ever wanted to see what happens when a woman is scorned too many times? Then you simply must check it out.

So we thought we would be deliberately provocative with the wording for this one and thankfully it paid off! We got lots of great feedback from our beaut twitter family, which we reveal in detail during the episode. As is becoming tradition with a LWH debate, we also disclose our own individual opinions, give some background on the topic of CGI and discuss some of the most relevant horror movies relative to the question.
