Today we talk about the possibility of Nick Nurse going to the Lakers to be abused by LeBron James and being his most recent scapegoat. We roll through the early stages of the NBA playoffs; Drake bets on the Warriors to make it out of the West, where's the love for the Raptors from our Toronto boy? Trae Young wants the smoke from Jimmy Butler, but should he? Could Doncic take his career to another level if he took his conditioning more seriously? Dave tells his harrowing tale of the night he spent working on a drainage line in the middle of the night. John is upset he's too old to stay up and watch UFC fights. John is encouraged that his body is holding up as he works towards his half marathon, and Dave is excited to wear his new boots to work on Monday, which may be the saddest sentence ever written.

In this episode, Dave knew he was have to guide his apprentice to the end goal of being a good licensed plumber, but he didn't know that meant educating him on classic 90's/early 2000's rap groups like Outkast, but here we are, having to explain why they were not "One hit wonders". We continue with music, talking about popular samples or covers that we didn't realize we samples or covers until someone pointed it out to us. Dave wishes he was cooler, and a more engaging speaker, and the need for that is evident during this segment, he's been listening to a lot of podcasts, and wishes he was cool enough to pull off using some of the language/slang that he hears on these shows. Adam Schefter gets criticized for the way he reported on Dwayne Haskins death, pointing out his professional struggles at a time where we should be concentrating on the positives of his life, and his families mourning. John comes with another "Would You Rather" that tries to tap into our competitive nature.

In today's episode, we begin by trying to make sense of the conflicting reports about Ben Simmons and whether he is going to play now, or later, or not at all, who knows. Dave describes one of the most confusing, random, non-sensical interaction he's ever had, which happened in a twitter group DM room. Brian Flores lawsuit grows, to include two new complainants, and expanded the teams involved. Dave keeps that same energy, and dances on the grave of LeBron and the Lakers missing the playoffs. Will Smith receives a 10-year ban from attending the Oscars, while also resigning from the Academy, and Jada does not give a FUCK. We finish off, as all Monday episodes do, with Dave and John telling you about their grievances and gratitudes for the week.

Check out our twitter Friday to see who we match up against in the Indie Podcast Bracket Challenge. Round 1 is a meme challenge about the podcast we are matched against. Voting for Round 1 starts Monday.
In today's epsiode, we discuss the World Cup groupings, and how we feel Canada will fare, participating in their first world cup in 36 years. We follow that train of thought and wonder if people who have historically cheered for other nations, either their ancestral homes or just teams they like to follow, if they will let that fandom slip to the back burner and throw their main support behind Canada. With the baseball season about to start, we talk about what's to come, how we think their season will go, what we think of the way their off-season went. Since our friends just had their baby, we discuss what we like, or don't like about the newborn stage and what they have to look forward to.

Today's podcast basically exists for Dave to brag about finally winning trivia with his friends, no one else even cares, but he's deciding to make it a huge deal. After all that is over, we quickly update how the Raptors are doing, and discuss Kyle Lowry's first game back as a member of the heat. We review the new Washington Nationals alternate jersey. We discuss Colin Kaepernick trying out for NFL teams after years away from the sport. Tom Brady got Bruce Arians fired and there's no way you can convince me otherwise. Manu Ginobli is a first-ballot Hall of Famer and there's nothing you can do about it. Bo Bichette and Alek Manoah take an interesting path during their contract negotiations. How do we feel about April Fool's?
We will be participating in a March Madness style Indie Podcaster Bracket Challenge, where we will compete in various activities head to head against other Indie Podcasts and we will need your votes to move on. Details are still coming in, but head to our twitter and we will keep you up to date on the information you need to know.

WILL SMITH SMACKED THE SHIT OUT OF CHRIS ROCK! Holy shit, we can't believe that, that actually happened. That was crazy. Canada qualifies for the World Cup for the first time since 1986, 4 years ahead of schedule. We discuss the merits of certain fringe sports, and try and decide which activities should be considered sports and which sports are a sham. What weird foods do we eat together, and what foods do we avoid at all costs. We also discuss our biggest fears, and John tells us the origin story of his greatest fear. We finish off the episode with a Would You Rather, John wasn't impressed with Dave's answer.

In today's episode, we go through a few sports news stories: the Raptors game is delayed for 70-minutes because of an electrical fire; Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker gets arrested in Florida for a DUI; Kyrie Irving proclaims that he is going to re-sign in Brooklyn. John really reminds Dave of Tom Segura. Then we discuss the idea of loyalty between player and team in sports, and how you define loyalty changes depending on who's perspective you are working with. As always, we finish of our Monday episode with our grievances and gratitude of the week.

In this instalment of the podcast, John is finally back from vacation, and we aren’t completely side tracked with That Damn Podcast and all of us making fun of each other. So, we catch up on moves made by the Chargers/Steelers and discuss where our respective teams now sit within their divisions. We also discuss the highly risky manoeuvres pulled off by the Browns, and whether or not DeShaun Watson will see punishment from the league for the allegations against him. Scottie Barnes throws shade towards LeBron James. John gives us his best stories from his trip to Disney World. Finally, we finish off with another great “Would You Rather?”

In this episode we have the guys from That Damn Podcast on to discuss, I’m not really sure. Our sports fandom, some of what has been going on in the NFL and MLB off-season. We jump ed around a lot, it truly was like listening in on a conversation between friends at a bar. I’m not doing a great job describing the episode to the people, but one thing I will say about it is it is god damn interesting to listen to! Thanks to Zach, Carlos, and Boston Don for joining us for this one.

Today we have the second instalment of John’s on vacation during one of the busiest sports weeks of the year, so we decided to pre-record an episode that gave you a little insight into our lives. We tell you the stories of how we met our wives. Hope you guys enjoy it, and we will be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week.
