We begin, as we have lately, quickly running through various goings on from the past few days in the sports universe, such as the World Cup, Russell Westbrook revenge tour, Maple Leafs snap Devils 13-game winning streak, Mike White gets the start over Zach Wilson and Canada win Davis Cup. We then take some time to discuss the current state of our favourite football teams, with Dave and John's teams being on the opposite end of the competitive spectrum right now. We also dive deeper into Canada's performance at the World Cup, how we did, what it means moving forward. We finish off with a Would You Rather.

The Nets don't have enough problems to deal with, so they fired Steve Nash, and are replacing him with suspended Celtics coach, Ime Udoka, make it make sense. Kyrie Irving posts about a movie containing anti-semetic content, and now who knows if he'll ever play basketball again. He needs to complete a checklist before the Nets will let him come back, and as a free agent this off-season, who is going to invest millions of dollars in this person? For the second straight year, an NBA team is penalized for "gun-jumping" free agency, but if the penalty is only a second round pick, why stop? Vlad Guerrero Jr. did an interview that every Blue Jay fan should be excited to hear. Ontario politics are a mess right now, we take some time to vent a little, because some messed up stuff is happening in collective bargaining right now.

The Astros win! The Astros win! The Houston Astros are your 2022 World Series Champions, and I'm sure everyone is thrilled for them! Dave taps into John's hatred of customer service reps by telling his own frustrating story that happened to him a few days ago. We run through the NFL games we thought were interesting, a lot of tight games during the early slate of games. A couple of huge performances. We also talk about the NFL trade deadline that's just passed. Jake Paul can't lose, most recently he knocked down Anderson Silva and earned a victory over him. Tune in for our grievance of the week, where John tells us a story that is very out of character for him.
