In today's episode, John and Dave take turns venting about their respective football teams, and how they both suffered incredibly frustrating loses this week. While we are getting things off our chest, Dave vents his frustration after getting fucked over by someone he thought he could trust. Robert Sarver is forced to sell his stake in the Phoenix Suns after the NBA completes their investigation into how he treats the Suns employees who are of minority background. Brett Favre is a giant asshole, stealing from his home state, and being really really dumb about it. In a shocking development, Dave has begun reading a book. Dave gets John to settle a discussion he had with his family about how if you would classify competitive Dance as a sport. In today's episode, we hear John breathe a sigh of relief in real time as the Chargers have announced that Justin Herbert will more or less be fine. Just don't let the team doctor within 100 feet of his rib injury, isn't that right Tyrod? Dave asks why Chargers coach Brandon Staley seemed so defensive every time Herbert was brought up in the post game press conference. As referenced a moment ago, Tyrod Taylor is suing the Chargers team doctor for puncturing his lung last year when, ironically, he was dealing with a broken rib of his own and needed a cortisone shot. We then move on to the NBA and Kyrie Irving just constantly needing to talk to the media, no matter how often he makes himself sound like an idiot. NBA CBA negotiations are ongoing, a couple keys changes that look likely is a mental health designation similar to what they have for physical injuries, and lowering the draft age from 19 to 18.
