  • LR Podcast: Two Related Tyrannies

Taking political prisoners is now policy with the Biden regime. Harrison Floyd, a supporter of Trump, is behind bars today as a political prisoner. He is one of Donald Trump's 18 co-defendants in a RICO case being brought against Trump et al by Fulton County DA Fani Willis.

Threats of mask mandates are back in the news, despite the rate of daily deaths being attributed to COVID* are about 1/4 to 1/5 what they were when most mandates were lifted in 2022.

  • Liberty Relearned Podcast: The Rant Episode

Putting Hunter Biden on trial would mean having President Biden as a witness. The Democrats definitely don't want that. What will they do?

The Rant: The Left claims to hate fascists. Apparently, it's not the arresting and jailing of political opponents part of fascism they hate. They seem perfectly fine with that. Nor is it with government control of industry and commerce. Must be the nationalism. #Fascism #leftism

  • Why the Left's focus on group identity?

So why the emphasis on group identity on the left? The left are collectivists. That collectivism might take the form of communism, socialism, or fascism. Each of these ideologies subordinate the will and the needs of the individual to that of the collective. It should come as no surprise then, that a focus on group rather than individual identity is paramount. Also, it is not surprising that collective punishment is part of the leftist way. Neither is it any wonder that meritocracy, which is a function of the individual, is not valued to nearly the degree it is by the right.

  • LR Lessons: Individualism vs. Collectivism

While judging people based upon their membership in some greater group is not in and of itself wrong, it is often not appropriate. In the end, one must build merit for oneself, and one must be judged upon those merits. Merits and shortcomings alike are earned individually and thus cannot be transferred to others. Individuals are to be judged for individual deeds and be awarded or punished accordingly, and groups, likewise, should be awarded or punished for deeds committed by the entire group. Doing anything else results in injustice.

  • Biden Corruption: To see or not to see?

According to a recent Gallup poll, 42% believe the Biden regime isn't particularly corrupt.

How is it that 42% of Americans believe the Biden regime's ethics as good or excellent? That 42% would have to be either chronically uninformed or ethically challenged themselves. #bidencrimefamily

Doesn't it seem like every time major news breaks about Biden family corruption that shortly after, former President Trump is indicted? President Trump thinks so true. The pattern of bad news for the Bidens, Trump indictment, more bad news for the Bidens, Trump indictment could be just coincidence, but is it? Or do the timing of the indictments have more to do with sending a message to the Trump team and the Republicans, something like: "You hurt us, now we hurt you." At the very least it is convenient how the Trump indictments wipes the news about Biden corruption off the front page.

  • More Political Drama

Another week, another Hunter Biden Story. This time, it's the DOJ trying to send Hunter's former business partner, Devon Archer to prison just in time to not testify in from of the House Oversight Committee. The DOJ has since thought twice about keeping Archer from testifying in such an obvious way. Archer is expected to give testimony in front of Congress that could not only further incriminate Hunter, but Joe Biden as well.

This past week a "sweetheart" deal that would have kept Hunter out of jail and facing any significant penalty fell through when the DOJ prosecutors had to admit in front of the judge that the investigations in to alleged FARA violations would not cease under the terms of the plea deal. That's not what Hunter Biden and his lawyers were thinking. They thought that ALL investigations into Hunters alleged crimes would cease in perpetuity. The DOJ has been able to duck questions about alleged Biden family crimes by saying the "matter is subject to an ongoing investigation. They were hoping to be able to drop the investigations and let Hunter go with a virtual slap on the wrist.

What does this all mean for the election going forward? The Democrats could allow Biden to be impeached an removed but that would make Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the House the Vice President, same if the 25th Amendment him. They really don't want to face Donald Trump in the general election, and they really don't want Joe Biden to face him. If they can't force Trump out of the race, then they will have to politely but forcefully request Biden get out of the race to make room for someone like Gavin Newsome to run, while still controlling the VP slot.

A lot of plot lines are starting to come together in this Political Drama that just seems to be heating up.

  • JP'S Dystopic Journal: Lack-of-cocaine-investigation-gate

Cocainegate enters its third week, not because any advancements in the investigation, but precisely because there weren't any. The Secret Service has ended its investigation into who brought cocaine into the White House. Did they come to a dead end, or were they told to end it? Whatever the reason, that still doesn't help the fact that there is apparently still a cocaine user in the White House, one potentially a target of blackmail or extortion. The cocaine was there because of a security breach, but the nation's security may also be at risk because of the individual or individuals involved.

  • Lawlessness encouraged.

This week, we have two cases of illegal behavior being winked at, if not outright encouraged. And who by? You know...

Cocainegate enters its third week, not because any advancements in the investigation, but precisely because there weren't any. The cocaine was there because of a security breach, but the nation's security may also be at risk because of the individual or individuals involved.

In Wisconsin, a different kind of illegal activity is either being winked at, or maybe actively encouraged by the Democrats. They are arguing that a court order severely limiting the use of absentee ballots be overturned and the less-secure means of ballot collecting be allow is in the last two election cycles. The Democrats apparently don't believe blacks are as capable of voting as other racial and ethic groups. A somewhat patronizing attitude to be sure. They are spending time, money, and effort in that state to keep a less-secure method of collecting ballots from going away.

Meanwhile, a lawless DOJ have found been shown their man...Donald Trump and continue to search for addental crime with which to charge him with. Garland's cronies have already found two and are going for a third. More on this as the story evolves.
