Many Christian books only give a method for doing exactly what they have done, which may or may not work for your situation. This book rather gives the principles behind the methods which are then easily adapted to any situation. Very practical, easy ad quick to read.

And what does all this tribulation and discomfort produce? Jamie Buckingham says that what he's experienced so far had produced a solid contentment. He does not regret opening himself to the searching work of God. It is painful, no doubt, but the peace and freedom have been well worth it.

This Book is a Life Changer.

When I read this book, I found within the pages the encouragement I needed to live a life more closely to God. It is like a road map, revealing that our thoughts and our words are indicative of what is really going on inside of us. I learned that our lives are pretty much like a placid lake with a smooth surface, shining out to those around us, until something or somebody ruffles the water. Then crud from the bottom, when the water is stirred, can reach the top, and we find ourselves reacting in ways we're not proud of. This book shows how to turn over the gunk of our lives to the Lord, so that even when we "bleed," we will bleed Jesus. What a spectacular find. It changed my life completely.

One of the best books I ever read. Have ordered al least a dozen over the years to give away and I have reread several times & I almost never reread a book.
