A theme throughout her whole life has been, as she calls it, following. Simply following the path and having the guts to do whatever she wants to. Her advice to anyone is to just start and just keep going. We cover how difficulties in life become jewels, from which you can reach a depth and create, to plan or not to plan, and how giving your work parameters gives great freedom.

Emily Trann is a Canadian vegan activist and animal lover based in Tanzania. We worked together in Burleigh Heads, Australia in 2016 and connected on our way of seeing the world. In the same year, we both read What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding by Kristin Newman and decided on an episode in tribute to the comical memoir.
