Valerie Dunn McBee, LCSW, is a midwesterner living in the deep south. She works as a DBT and trauma therapist, teaches part time at the University (red and black forevah!) and lives as a wife, mom, sister, friend in the country outside of a college town. She is maddeningly dialectical and tries to live out her faith and values every day. When she's not doing something active (yoga, travel, aerial), she loves to sit and knit, listen to audio books and eat chocolate--that is, when she's not on the sidelines cheering on her kids' soccer teams.
