Podcast 428: Your Health Questions Answered #01

CIRSTEN: Hello, everyone! I’m here with Martin again, welcome to all the people from Facebook, and everyone from YouTube. Yes, this is it! This is the Super Green show, we have the link right there on the screen and in the description, and Martin and I will discuss any subject for a while, and then we will have questions, okay?

MARTIN: Yeah, hi everyone! This is Martin Pytela, I work as a health coach, I’m certified as a metabolic typing advisor, which makes me fairly uniquely qualified to understand how genetics and nutrition intersect. There has been a huge gap in understanding in the mainstream, as far as how nutrition affects the outcomes, and how different things need to be suggested to different people. Meaning that depending on what your grandmother and great-grandmother lived in, the terrain would have predetermined how well or not well they would do with a current diet. 

And to give you an example, for example, if your ancestors were North American Indians who followed the buffalo, they would have lived on red meat from the buffalo, and they would collect berries, and they would maybe get some bear fat in the fall because they would hunt a bear, that’s called pemmican. They would never run into grains or pizza or popcorn, just never. So when we showed up with alcohol and carbohydrates, it totally blew up their ability to cope with the food. Just an example, right? If on the other hand, if you were born to some North African Bedouin family where you live on dates, figs, pomegranates, and camel milk, that’s practically all carbohydrates, it’s all starch, and with those genetics, you will be totally unprepared to live on steak and salad,

CIRSTEN: Right.

MARTIN: These are the subtle differences that cause people to have completely different outcomes depending on their genetics. And of course, we’re running this huge experiment in North America of mixing of races, so it’s really hard to know if you have mixed ancestry, what you should be doing, without really observing and paying attention to what happens when you do something, food-wise.

CIRSTEN: Right. I wanted to say that I have been on the stuff for about a month now, and I took the Zeolite… are you still sold out on the Zeolite?

MARTIN: Yeah, we’re still having a hard time catching up to it, but I now ordered loads of it, so by about next Wednesday, we’ll be all caught up.

CIRSTEN: Okay. Zeolite is basically capsules that have some kind of a sponge-like mineral that is natural, that helps absorb all the toxic metals in your body. And I have to say that, you know, I’m a little obsessive-compulsive, so one day instead of two capsules, I took three, and it kind of dried my skin out, but I feel a lot better actually because I guess I had all the mercury from my fillings coming out and whatever, other toxic metals that I had that was from breathing the air, and the chemtrails, and whatever else, it was really grabbing it. But yes, I will go back to just taking two capsules a day.

MARTIN: Hello everyone, this is Martin Pytela for the Life Enthusiast Podcast, and today I have the pleasure of introducing to you Rehmannia Dean Thomas, the founder, and the chief herbalist at the RDT Herbs. For example, since 1996, I have been extracting my own, and since about 2004, we have been selling ORMUS to the world, and there you are, actually selling it and making it part of your herbs! It’s super important to me because it’s not well known, it’s not well understood, and yet it makes a gigantic difference in how it impacts people. And the second thing is my love of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which this is not, but it’s a part of.

REHMANNIA: Yes.

MARTIN: In the sense that I have had the most health success, most repairs to my broken body because I got broken by mercury toxicity and many other things, the healings that came to me were largely from people who understood the Chinese method, the concepts. Anyway, here it goes, please tell us how you got here.

REHMANNIA: That’s a pretty crazy story, pretty convoluted. I’m actually from outside Louisville, Kentucky, a little town called Valley Station, so the fact that Chinese herbs came to me is kind of miraculous, but it had happened via a lot of factors. I met a Chinese woman when I was on tour playing music at 21, and she introduced me to all this, and we got married, and we went to China for our honeymoon. We happened to go into the Northern Manchurian province,

Podcast 426: Metasomer News

MARTIN: Hi everyone, this is Martin Pytela for Life Enthusiast Podcast, and with me today I’m honored to have Richard Presser, Dr. Richard Presser, and we are going to be talking about developments in the Nano Soma journey, we have some news. Richard, welcome aboard!

RICHARD: Hi, Martin. Thank you! And let me begin by saying thank you for the work that you have done, the efforts you have put in to help spread Nano Soma across the world. I remember our first conversation, where you said: “I’ve been trying this and I find it beneficial. And if I understand this correctly, this could destroy my existing business.” I said to you: “I think you have it right.” And you said: “well, if someone is going to destroy my business, it would better be me.” And so you have been fearless in how you have spread this to your network and beyond, and thank you for all you have done to help spread this to the world. We are both here because it is our mission to be here, to spread this to the world. So thank you.

MARTIN: Indeed!

RICHARD: And so to answer your questions specifically, we are continuing to spread Nano Soma and the family of products in the world. As you are aware, we started with the spray, which is under the name Nano Soma name, and we now have that available not just in the US, but also in Europe, in the UK, and in Australia in terms of outlets, and I am beginning to work in South America. We are going through the difficult process of having it available in Canada directly, that is a little journey in and of itself, and I am starting to work in South America, we have distributors in South Africa and Singapore. So it’s beginning to spread out into the world as it needs to be! I’m not saying I’m the only person that will take it everywhere in the world, I’m not saying that. I’m just doing what I feel is mine to do.

So the spray is the first product that we put out there. You can see all the products on the screen around me. The yellow one on your left is the gel, which has been on the market for sometime, and we are supplying it to your customers. Podcast 425: Nitric Oxide & H2 Water with Dr. Howard Peiper

MARTIN: Hello, this is Martin Pytela for Life Enthusiast Podcast, and with me today is Dr. Howard Peiper. Dr. Peiper is a doctor of naturopathy, and he is also schooled in iridology, he also was an optometrist, and he knows a whole lot about prevention, which is what we at Life Enthusiast are all about. And I want to dip into Dr. Peiper’s deep well of knowledge, having written 40 books, he studied a lot of topics. The two that I want to talk about today are water and nitric oxide. Dr. Howard Peiper, welcome!

HOWARD: Thank you, Martin. Thank you for having me! The well of knowledge! I learn from my clients, I learn from my teachers from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s of naturopathy, I learn from everybody! One of the biggest things for me is to constantly learn. Because I self-publish my books, I can always revise them. What I thought was great information 20 years ago, if I realize that there is newer information to it, I can revise and I can add more information to the books because I am self-publishing. So for me, it is a constant repetition of learning and educating and teaching!

MARTIN: So how long have you been in the business of naturopathy?

HOWARD: Since the 1970s! I was an optometrist first, then I learned iridology through Dr. Bernard Jensen, and I combined some iridology with optometry, which was pretty interesting with some of my clients. And then in the early 1990s, I made a career change, I became a naturopathic doctor and I started writing books with a very dear friend of mine. We wrote about 12 books together. The first book was ‘Are You Poisoning Your Pets?’ It is kind of scary for some people. Then we went on to humans with the book ‘The Secret to Staying Young.’

MARTIN: So have you continued to practice naturopathy, or are you not practicing now?

HOWARD: No, the initials behind my name are RET.

MARTIN: That is for ‘retired’?

HOWARD: Yes, retired. I love that. Unfortunately, but fortunately… I mean, I am a teacher, and I love educating people if they are open, if they are willing to listen. So somehow people will get my email address. Somehow I will get these phone calls and sometimes even texts: “Could you just answer one question for me? Can you please help me?” So part of my sales ability is: “Buy the book, number one, read the book, and then we can talk.

SCOTT: You are listening to the Life Enthusiast Podcast, starring Life Enthusiast number one health coach, Martin Pytela, and his once-a-year co-host Scott Paton. Welcome to the show, everybody! Hey, Martin, how are you doing today?

MARTIN: Scott, life is more complicated than it has ever been, but I am personally doing okay.

SCOTT: Me too. We have been doing these shows for… is it 15 years?

MARTIN: Yep, it has been 15 years, my friend.

SCOTT: 15 years! And of course, as in life, people come together, go apart, come together again, so we have only been able to do one show a year together, so if you don’t wanna miss one, this is the one to hang in and watch!

MARTIN: I have felt quite strongly that keeping this going is a good thing, it allows us to keep with the times and just understand how life evolves, and oftentimes we are able to veer off the main course. At Life Enthusiast we always focus on products, or specifics, or whatever, and this annual review show allows me to just simply go right into the weeds, and talk about what is on my mind, and I think you have been a wonderful facilitator of that sort of thing in my life, just offering a perspective that I couldn’t have or wouldn’t have thought of, so I cherish this time, and I thought: “Why don’t we share it with the world?”

SCOTT: Yeah, me too! We have had some amazing conversations in the past, and so I want to start off with product placement. (Laughing) This is Nano Soma. I happen to be in Cuenca, Ecuador, which is close to the Peruvian border, and it has been almost impossible to get it here! But thanks to persistence by Martin and his team, I have got it, and I have to say – it is magical. Like, it really is amazing! There are two things I cannot be without, and this has become one of them. The other one is the Exsula line of products, and I have been doing this for 15 years. I haven’t shaved for a while, as you can see, I need to get a haircut, and one of my friends today said: “You look like you are getting younger, what is your secret?” And I thought, well, for the last two months, it has been this Nano Soma. MARTIN: Hello everyone! This is Martin Pytela for Life Enthusiast Podcast, and with me today is Dr. Howard Peiper. Dr. Peiper, welcome to the show!

HOWARD: Thank you, Martin! I feel honored being on your show, thank you!

MARTIN: The honor is truly mine. You are the one with tons of experience, and the chops to tell us what you know. Dr. Peiper has written many books for folks that are wanting to get educated in the ways of natural healing. He comes with a storied background going back to Bernard Jensen and the days of my original teachers. In fact, I think we both may be in a similar age group, what do you think?

HOWARD: Well, I will be hitting 80 in a couple of weeks.

MARTIN: Oh, I am only 69. Thank you for having the headstart on me! That is most welcome. You have written around 40 books, did I get it right? That in itself is an awesome accomplishment. I am still working on my first.

HOWARD: (laughing) The first one is always the hardest.

MARTIN: Okay. (laughing) Anyway, would you mind reviewing a bit of your life for our listeners?

HOWARD: Oh, of course. Thank you. As you mentioned, I am a doctor, a naturopathic doctor, that is my second career, I call it ‘my second lifetime.’ In my first lifetime, I was an optometrist for a number of years, and it was really interesting. In 1972, I got to meet Dr. Bernard Jensen, he was one of my mentors, and he taught me how to do iridology. And being an optometrist and doing iridology, I was doing both at the same time, and just keeping it within the first career. Then I had an opportunity of getting my naturopathic license in the early seventies, and I went forward, and I decided in the early nineties to change careers. So I became a naturopathic doctor, living in Florida at that time. And I made a connection working with a magazine called Explore magazine, which I don’t know if it is still around, and I met a wonderful woman named Christine Jackson. Actually, she was up in your neck of the woods, and I almost moved to Mount Vernon, Washington, back in the early nineties, so we might have been neighbors.

I started writing some articles for her, and made a connection with Nina Anderson, who wrote a book on living in a pollution-free house. We started corresponding back and forth. At that time she was in Connecticut, and our first book was ‘Are You Poisoning Your Pets?’ Then we went into a booklet called ‘The Secrets of Staying Young.’ This was back in the mid nineties. We wrote a couple of other books together, and our bestseller, which is still a bestseller after all these years, we are talking about maybe 25-28 years, is the ‘ADD and ADHD Diet.’ It has been used by thousands and thousands of parents, mothers, doctors, it has been translated to Spanish, so I’ve been down in Mexico many times, and people still use that information.

MARTIN: Hi everyone! This is Martin Pytela for the Life Enthusiast podcast, and with me today is Monica Leal, a multi-year veteran in health and water technologies. I have met Monica not long ago, but now that I have watched several of her presentations, I am thoroughly impressed by the depth of her knowledge, and the thoroughness of her research, and just how well she is versed with what we are going to talk about. I want to talk to you about the following: As you know, we have been presenting water technologies on the inexpensive side, the most affordable solutions. Today is going to be different. We are going to be going straight for the best, the highest quality, but also the highest price point. Welcome aboard, Monica!

MONICA: Thank you, Martin! I just want to say I am really impressed with you, and also with the variety and absolutely huge and wonderful selection you have on your website! I found a few things there that I am very impressed with as well, so I am really glad to discover your website! Thank you for having me!

MARTIN: Sure thing! We are going to be talking about how hydration, oxidation, and hydrogenation are an issue for a human being, how the oxygen molecule and the hydrogen molecule are dancing with one another, and how they interact with the human physiological experience. And by the end of this presentation, you should be excited to try what we have to talk about. So, Monica, I understand you are concerned about making sure that we disclaim correctly what we are about to say, right?

MONICA: Yes, I have to do the obligatory disclaimer, you know, because we live in very rocky, tumultuous times as far as the medical system goes, so I just want to say that I am not a doctor, nothing I say is intended to treat or diagnose or cure or heal any disease whatsoever, and certainly not the big C. Either big C, we got two big Cs now, we have got the old big C, and now the new big C. I am not making any medical claims on that. And if you have any sort of medical conditions, please consult your doctor, and get that out of the way first.

MARTIN: Yep, I am no doctor either, there is no medical advice here, just my opinions.

MONICA: Yeah, exactly. Everything I am going to say is my own personal opinion. I would like to share my own personal story, and also my dog’s story. I am not even going to tell you my story right away, I am going to tell you that a little later, because if I tell you now, you are not going to believe me. And some people might think: “eh, testimonials, you hear them all the time with all these various products, they always have testimonials.” I am not going to start with that, but I will start with my dog. I have to show you my dog. And then what I’d like to do is talk about what I consider another very dire threat that is out there that people are not probably not aware of. JIM: Good afternoon!

MARTIN: Would you care to share something about your health before you found Life Enthusiast and started taking Iridesca?

JIM: Yes, I will be happy to do that. I got introduced to you in 1990 by my personal doctor, who is a nutrition specialist, and I was actually asking him about a different product. And he said: “Well, I can tell you that the best product on the market right now is Iridesca by Exsula.” So I ordered it, and I have taken it every morning since. I have been taking it for the last 30+ years. What I found is that it immediately gives me a better feeling about life. I feel stronger, I have more energy, I sleep better, my digestion is better. 

In the beginning, it was really interesting because I only took Iridesca every winter. I’m in the Philadelphia area, and every winter it would get cold and I would get some sort of a bronchial problem that would actually lead to pneumonia. I love what I’m doing, so I don’t find it stressful. The stress is just living life, our lives are full of stress. I’ve had lots of issues, things that have come into my life, family related issues, those kinds of things that create stresses in my life, but I find that I don’t have any problems sleeping, I don’t have any problems with digestion, I just don’t have any health problems in general that I am aware of.
