As we end out another year, many set there new years resolution into action and some await for the new year to arrive to start them. There are so many things that are in store for us in the upcoming year, even in the next few days as we end out this year. One of the many things I'm reminded to do is to FINISH STRONG, and also to end out the year going into the new year with what it is that I'd like to accomplish or resolve(having a determination to get done whatever I set out to). God has a resolution and his resolution is the ultimate one, because regardless if we stick to what we say were going to do at the top of the year... God is the same today, yesterday and forevermore; his word is absolute and its GURANTEE!! Great things lie ahead if you keep your eyes on God and his promises for your life and his purpose for your life.

Protection is needed in many forms or areas of our lives, also in the same context it is important that we are covered by the Lord almighty because we never know day to day minute to minute what life will bring us. In this episode we discuss briefly the importance of having a life hidden in Christ. Just a week ago there was a shooting at Oxford High School, here in Michigan in which several peoples lives were taken; such a traumatic and dreadful circumstance to take place has impacted the lives of many families and communities. Many times we go throughout life seeing things and even ourselves one way, however those in our lives have a different perspective and experience of us. This is an old statement but very true one, because when we don't do as such we put ourselves in a position that isn't necessary. We cause trouble that could have been avoided, as well as we could avoid negative experiences that if we just take a few moments and look within from without and reset before we make a mess. We've recently celebrated the holiday of Thanksgiving, and it dawned upon me to discuss about where God has brought us from. Just like the children of Israel or the Israelites, God has brought us a very long way in Life. If it were not for God many of us would not be here today, I remember a  time in my younger days when I should have been at home and decided to do things my way. In the midst of this decision a shooting took place, in which I very well could have lost my life. But God's grace and mercy kept me in spite of my disobedience and I'm truly grateful for this and many other times that God stepped in and kept the hands of death off of me. He is worthy of all glory and honor and praise for the rest of my(our) days.

Many of times in our day and throughout our lives we all would like to have control of certain situations or circumstances, however there are certain things we have no control over. One of the most important things to do in this Life Journey is to give God control. Because ultimately his plans are sovereign compared to ours, for even while we were in our mothers womb he knew what would take place in our lives.
