Forgive me first and foremost at the beginning of this episode of what  I was saying I don't  want to be contradicting or saying one thing and mean another; here is what I meant to start off with. One thing for sure about this life is that it's easy to go to God when things are bad but what about the good times. He's there for us no matter what place or position we may be in life. Whether  our finances are together or seem to be overtaking us. Whether the marriage is on the rocks, or smooth sailing. No matter where in life it's important that we keep going to him and seeking him and leaning and depending on him. For he's the source everything and everyone else are the resources, he uses to get to us what we need or desire.

We all have a birth date and a death date, it's up to us between the time we're born and the time we leave this life that we don't waste anytime between the dash. Start to finish doing everything that you and I were placed here to do. We can waste our lives away or we can get up daily and walk in purpose and live out our purpose. So many people who sad to say are no longer with us, left this life and didn't achieve everything that they were sent to do. In the midst of the time we are birth and the time we depart this life we must be about our fathers business and walking out what he predestined even while we were in our mothers womb.

Don't waste anytime and get busy doing what you're called to do(when I say this to you I'M SAYING IT TO ME), life is too short and better to live a life and leave on empty than to live and still have left something in the tank.

My job is currently facing temporary layoffs, how long we don't know amongst other things bills etc. However in the midst of all this adversity I know that God will see me and us through it all. When life gets tough it's not the time to quit or surrender or back down, it's the time to lock in and keep moving forward. It's time to dig deep within; look to the hills from where my help comes from and my help comes rom the Lord which made heaven and earth. No matter what submerged situation you may be facing, be it physical, spiritual or emotional or anything else it will not overtake you.

There are times in this very moment that I sit and reflect on where I've come from, where or what I've been through and how God brought me out. I sit and reflect and know that it's because of him and his grace and mercy that I'm still here because I have a purpose to fulfill. Each day reflect on the good the bad and the ugly, reflect and then take action. Reflection is an opportunity to grow both naturally and spiritually, and the choice is yours to make a change. Don't waste too much time reflecting on the bad or negative things that you allow it to set you back, but instead reflect on it so that you can see what changes you need to make and how to grow from it. Reflect take action and then grow, and be all God has called you and Purposed you to be.

So many things are going on in the world, one of them is that COVID-19 is still yet in the midst. The vaccine has helped some of us get back to somewhat of a "normal" life. To be honest nothing will ever will be normal again, in this episode we revisit the topic of Covid season, because although restrictions are being lifted and the vaccine is present to help fight this virus we still aren't in the clear. Fatherhood is a blessing and teaches us so many life lessons as we help in raising and guiding our children. Being a present dad and active in our child's life or children's lives is important for when we aren't present and active we leave the door open for so many things to take place in their lives. It's our responsibility to raise and guide them, dads; fathers we are needed and important. Lets step up and be there for our children and if necessary to stand in the gap for someone who doesn't have a dad or father figure, so all of our children can be successful and prosperous in their LIFE JOURNEY.

A fathers work is never done, its a blessing and it's work. Yet in still it is worth it because we have the opportunity to raise our children and help them at being successful in life. Just as God guides us we our a guide for our children. We help to steer them in the right direction and when they come into adulthood we then shift to putting our trust in God a little deeper than before that what we've instilled in them will take place.

In this weeks episode of Life is a Journey, I dive into talking about consistency and the importance of it in our daily lives. I also am learning to be more transparent, and in this particular episode I am just that. Consistency is something I believe we all possess, some may be a little more consistent in certain areas of their lives and some may not. The goal and importance of being consistent however, isn't a competition or comparison. For example for years one area that I was and kind of always have been consistent in, has been time management. I usually if I have to be somewhere leave about 45 minutes to an hour, just in case something comes up I'm prepared and give myself in case I'm am late due to unfortunate events (i.e. traffic, car accident, getting caught by the train near my job etc). Consistency brings forth the ability  to remain true to something or someone, and it is important because it also defines a vital part of your character.
