The Bible offers plenty of practical wisdom. For instance, Proverbs says that, “A generous person will prosper.” Or, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” But what about when a generous person loses their job, or when a child is raised in church and still walks away from God?
