Life is Funny

This week, the guys strap on their medical gowns and get down to business. Josh may or may not have had a near-death experience this week, so the guys obviously have to share a bunch of medical stories. Whether it's wisdom teeth, possible appendicitis, or religious injuries, Evan and Josh have a lot of personal experiences to draw from. Josh also gets a new nickname or two, and we find out that he's "an extra fat kind of guy." As always there's a Fact of the Week, and there's even a little teaser for a future episode in here too.

This week, the guys talk about the efficacy of zoos. Josh and Evan give their thoughts about whether zoos (and aquariums) are ethical and about the overall pros and cons of zoos. They address both sides of the issue from their own perspectives while really diving into some of the more important aspects of the issue. Even though the guys have some good thoughts and opinions, if they do say so themselves, the conversation gets even better insight thanks to an awesome listener who used to work at a zoo. This week, the guys celebrate  a new year and new decade! Overall though, they basically talk about a road trip that Evan took. Josh and Evan discuss things like AirBnB, bowl games, aquariums, and gas mileage. Don't worry, it's more exciting than it may sound! Evan has a lot of things to talk about from his trip to Jacksonville, FL, so there's plenty to discuss. As always, we keep the knowledge coming with a number of Fact of the Week tidbits. This week, Josh and Evan talk about the best things they saw in 2019. The guys give a list of their favorite things they saw in the categories of movies, Netflix, books, music, and some other stuff. The guys do a lot of agreeing, like usual, but there are plenty of things for them to add to the discussion. Find out if Evan is an official college graduate and how Josh has made him a better man. This week, Evan gets salty. Josh wasn't ready for the kind of heat that Evan came in with, so make sure you buckle up for a wild ride. The guys try to do their weekly recap like normal, but it quickly turns into Evan's personal venting session. Don't worry, there's plenty of content to laugh at and relate with, even if that just means laughing at Evan getting worked up over things. As usual there's some kind of Fact of the Week in there. This week the guys take a rollercoaster of a journey through a couple topics. Josh sets the mood early on, but it goes uphill from there! Both guys give a quick little recap of Thanksgiving, but then they dive into all kinds of topics. Whether it's potentially awkward social interactions, being deliberate in their actions, or not waiting to spend money, there's a lot that gets talked about. Get a little insight into Evan's weird brain, and see  what he and Josh agree and disagree on when it comes to a number of things. This week, the boys are back in town! The guys are recording live and in person after spending the weekend hanging out, and it's a big celebration of a whole year of podcasting. Happy 1-year anniversary to us! Josh and Evan have lots to talk about when it comes to what they did in-person, so gear up for a good story or two. The guys also talk a lot about the concept of delayed gratification, and they have some interesting thoughts. Don't delay the gratification you can get by listening to this podcast though, because you might miss out on some good info! This week the guys celebrate their 50th(!!!) episode of the podcast! They get all buttered up right at the start, and hopefully that leads to a super smooth episode. Josh and Evan talk about what's gone on in their lives over the past week or so, and there are some decent stories to come out of it. They really get into some good stories when they start talking about Evan's past life as a baller, and there's sure to be some laughs involved. This week Josh and Evan talk a lot about sports. They barely even recap their weeks because they just dive right into the topic, so make sure you're buckled in from the start. They discuss why the recording of this episode had to be delayed (it's 100% Evan's fault, but he had a good reason!), and then dive into an in-depth talk about sports. The guys talk a lot about Indiana University because that's what they know the most about, but they're still far from experts. Evan and Josh do know a little something though (Evan better since it's his major!), so hopefully most of their talk is insightful and full of good points.
