The Sham, Scam, and Hoax Impeachment Continues

The sham, scam, and hoax impeachment of President Trump goes on. The unofficial and unconstitutional hearings continue behind closed doors so that the public only hears what the president’s enemies want us to hear. No one in the president’s party is allowed to subpoena witnesses. What we are witnessing is an attempted coup d’etat using deception, irregularity, and concealment to unseat the president the American people chose to lead them. At the same time, attorney general Bill Barr continues his investigation into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax. The race is on - whether President Trump’s enemies can lie, cheat, and steal their way to removing the president before Bill Barr throws them in prison. The Washington Post believes, to quote their motto, that “Democracy Dies In Darkness.” Maybe they know what they are talking about.

A Mother Wants To Turn Her Boy Into A Girl; His Father Doesn’t

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Jeffrey Younger is a seven year old boy in Texas whose mother insists he is a girl and wants to give him puberty blockers, which is a form of chemical castration. His mother is subjecting him to a form of child abuse which will damage him physically and psychologically for the rest of his life. His father, on the other hand, wants him to be what God made him to be, 100% boy. While a jury gave sole custody to the mom, a judge said the father would have a say in what happens. But that’ll just put them right back in court. God has the solution here. He has created just two genders, male and female, so the boy is a male and not a girl. And God has created man to be the head and final decision maker in his own home and family. This concept was once honored in our laws and should be again. In God’s economy, this is not a judge’s call, it is a father’s call. Problem solved.

LeBron James Takes The Mantle From Colin Kaepernick

Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick lit the fuse for the cultural civil war when he began to kneel when the national anthem was being played. He’s now out of football altogether. But it looks like LeBron James has picked up his mantle. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar on the NBA’s opening night made a point of disrespecting the national anthem by stomping off the court while it was being played, shouting at fans who were unhappy with him, and defiantly sitting down on the bench while the rest of his team stood at attention. This was just after he said people who supported Hong Kong’s pro-liberty protestors were “uneducated.” Well, maybe this ungrateful athlete, who has been made rich beyond his wildest dreams by this country, might want to consider the possibility that he’s the ignorant and uneducated one.

Time To Be Done With This Quid Pro Quo Business

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The phrase quid pro quo is from Latin and literally means this for that. It refers to an agreement between two parties where each gets something in exchange from the other. A quid pro quo can be innocent or it can be corrupt. It all depends. Quid pro quos are the way in which all nations do business with each other, and make agreements and treaties. All President Trump’s enemies can talk about is his supposed quid pro quo with Ukraine. But what the president was seeking in his phone call with the Ukrainian president was help in rooting out corruption. We had evidence that Obama’s policy toward Ukraine was affected by all the money Joe Biden’s son was receiving from Ukraine for a business he knew nothing about. That’s corrupt. When Trump asked Ukraine for help in stopping this corruption, he wasn’t doing something impeachable, he was just doing his job.

Supremes Should Rule That No One Can See Trump’s taxes

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute.The Holy Grail for the mindless, obsessive Trump haters is getting their hands on the president’s tax returns, and the battle has now reached the Supreme Court. The Supremes should remind everybody in America of the 4th Amendment. The 4th Amendment guarantees the right of every American to be secure from government intrusion into his person, his house, and his papers. Well, the president is an American, so this protection applies to him. And his tax returns are “papers,” so this protection applies to them, too. The only exception is if authorities have actual evidence a crime has been committed and a man’s papers are central the investigation of the crime. But no one has even alleged that the president has committed a crime, so this is just another snipe hunt. Regressives yammer and blather and bloviate that Trump is not above the law. Well, neither are his enemies.

Dems Turning Impeachment Into A Cheap Political Tool

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Founding Fathers created a system of regularly scheduled elections so that we as the American people can select our own rulers, rather than having political rule imposed on us. They even created the power of impeachment so that in case of gross abuses of power, presidents could be removed from office through impeachment even between elections. But they clearly intended this as remedy for the most extreme cases of high crimes and misdemeanors, not for what somebody said on a phone call. By going to the mattresses over a legitimate exercise of presidential power - asking a foreign leader to help investigate corrupt meddling in an American election - the Democrats are trivializing the power of impeachment. Impeachment was never intended as a way for a losing party to overturn elections results they don’t like.

California’s Wildfires NOT Caused By Global Warming

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. PG&E, one of the largest utilities in the country, shut down electricity to 34 counties in California out of fear that its powerlines might spark new wildfires similar to the ones that killed 95 people last year. The media has been quick to blame global warming. But the intensity of these fires was caused by man, not rising temperatures. For decades, regressive politicians in California have prevented the thinning of California’s forests. This has caused a huge fuel load to build up on the forest floor. The lack of logging has caused trees to grow too close together, and logging companies and homeowners have not been allowed to create access roads or firebreaks. So when a fire starts, it goes up like a Roman candle. God gave man authority over all creation just to prevent destructive fires like this. It’s about time we used it.

Trump If Right To Withdraw From Syria

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Many conservatives are critical of the president’s decision to pull our troops out of Syria. I am not among them. The president campaigned on pulling our troops out of no-win wars where no discernible national interest of ours is at stake, and he is now fulfilling that promise. I for one do not want to see another American soldier shed his blood in some Middle Eastern desert unless our national security is directly at stake. Our experience in Iraq and Afghanistan should have taught us that nation-building in a Muslim land is impossible. Islam is not about democracy but tyranny and hostility to Christ and the gospel. The role of our military should be to neutralize whatever direct threat is posed to the United States and then come home. And they should try to bring as many Christians with them as possible when they do, to give them a new home here in the land of the free.
