The Abomination Of Desolation Shows Up In A Presbyterian Church

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Scripture refers a number of times to the abomination of desolation. It originally referred to the time when Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated the Holy of Holies by erecting an altar to Zeus and sacrificing a pig on it. Jesus said the return of the abomination of desolation would be a signal of his second coming. Well, the abomination of desolation has made a return, showing up in a Presbyterian Church. The United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton, New York, a PC USA church, has put a 15 foot tall idol of a medieval pagan deity on display in its sanctuary, right where the communion table normally stands. The deity, Svetovid, is an ancient Slavic god of war and fertility. It is an abomination that causes desolation, and that certainly will be the fate of this Presbyterian Church unless it repents in a hurry.

Here’s The Scientific Consensus About Global Warming

Regressives continue to shout at us about a mythical consensus, that 97% of scientists agree that the globe is warming catastrophically and man is to blame. That’s a bogus number. The real number is closer to 3%. But now this. 500 leading scientists and climate experts sent a letter to the U.N. this week, stating flatly, “There is no climate emergency.” They say: ““There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent.” CO2, they say, is not a pollutant but plant food, the basis of all life on earth. Climate crisis hysteria is not based on facts, but on computer models that are wildly out of alignment with the truth. Bottom line, they say, “There is no cause for panic and alarm.” If you’re looking for a scientific consensus on global warming, there it is.

A New Crime Is Invented: Ecocide

The Whackadoodle Wing of the radical environmental movement is constantly looking for new ways to get people in trouble for developing the earth’s resources. For greens, man is not God’s vice-regent over all creation, he is a parasite, who must be punished for leaving a human imprint on Gaia, the goddess at whose feet they worship. They have invented a new crime, the crime of “ecocide.” Ecocide would make human development of the earth’s resources a criminal enterprise which must be punished. In the worldview of eco-warriors, it is the equivalent of genocide.They want people punished in international courts for infringing on the right of nature to exist without human intervention. Well, in Genesis 1, God says man has dominion over all the earth, environmentalists say he doesn’t. I’m with God on this one.

Time To Reconsider Islamic Immigration

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Religion of Peace strikes again. A Muslim airline mechanic deliberately disables the navigation system on an airplane which could cause it to crash, and another Muslim surveills landmarks like the Statue of Liberty for Hezbollah to help them plan attacks on the United States. Both of these men are naturalized American citizens who are Muslims first and Americans second. They have never let go of Islamic totalitarianism even though for years they seemed to pose no danger to us. While of course not all Muslim immigrants are jihadist wannabes, too many are, and we have no way to tell the difference between the Muslims we need to worry about and the ones we don’t. We need to be careful with them all. The President has banned all immigration from seven troublesome Muslim countries. Perhaps it’s time to add to that list.

The Abortion Rate Is Dropping

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. According to the Associated Press, the number and the rate of abortions across the country have plunged to their lowest levels since the Supreme Court issued its wretched Roe v. Wade opinion in 1973. Abortions are decreasing in every part of the country, even in Democratic states that protect baby murder. Since 2011, the abortion rate has gone up in only 5 states. The abortion rate is now less than half of what it was in 1990, and there are fewer abortion clinics in America than there were at the beginning of the decade. Since 2011, 400 pro-life laws have been enacted around the country, and Planned Parenthood got aced out of $60 million a year by policies put in place by President Trump. Much work remains to be done. We cannot rest until every baby in the womb is welcomed in life and protected in law. But we should take heart that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The Bible Instructs Us On Kavanaugh Impeachment

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The baying hounds of political regressives and the Talking Snake Media are calling for Justice Brett Kavanaugh to be impeached and removed from the Supreme Court. What does the Bible say? It says that “Every fact is confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses. We should not be talking about impeachment unless there are at least two to three eyewitnesses who actually saw what happened and are willing to testify to what they say. But there are noe witnesses, not one, zip, nada, zilch. The supposed victim doesn’t remember it, her friends saying nothing like that ever happened, and the guy who is making the charge refuses to be interviewed. Plus he was a legal shill for both Bill and Hillary Clinton. In reality, this attack on Kavanaugh is about abortion. He represents a threat to Roe v Wade and must be stopped. Impeachment? No way, now how.

Kavanaugh Again?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The Bible says, “A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches.” A man’s reputation is the most valuable thing he possesses, which it is why it is a horrendous thing to maliciously damage a good man’s name. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is living through the nightmare of a second all-out assault on his character. The Talking Snake Media is circulating the accusation that he committed an act of sexual assault while in college. But there’s no evidence for it, and the New York Times finally admitted that the alleged “victim” doesn’t remember anything like that happening to her at all. What’s being done to Justice Kavanaugh is evil, wicked, and demonic. Father, we claim your promise that there is no weapon that has been formed against him that will succeed, and that he will refute every tongue that accuses him. May this be his vindication from you as a servant of the Lord.
