Today's episode features Daphna Shalom, After six years of medical practice, board certified physician assistant Daphna Shalom founded 'Beverlywood Med' alongside her mentor and current medical director Dr. Ravinder Singh.
Throughout her journey in medicine Daphna found that few patients were receiving individualized care or treatment plans, but rather a standard of treatment where 'one size fits all.'
Her goal was to create a practice which focused on the individual as a whole; where no two people were recommended the same treatment. A place for patients to have a personalized experience; where they felt comfortable asking questions.
Daphna began as an artist first, (acrylics on canvas), having a keen eye for beauty and deep understanding of precision and symmetry, she found a passion for facial aesthetics. And so, Beverlywood Med was founded. To find out more about Daphna and her work visit https://www.beverlywoodmed.com, or on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/beverlywoodmed/. Enjoy!

Not everyone is on the same page when it comes to divorce, having a mediator that gets you, can help with making quick decisions and letting go of the things that will only slow down the process, or wear you down. As a therapist for fifteen years, Tamara witnessed many couples headed toward divorce.
She heard about the pain and despair involved, and believed there had to be a better way for couples to move forward without feeling completely depleted from the process.
Tamar watched couples become drained from countless phone calls with lawyers and endless fees, thinking this was the only way to navigate divorce. She found this led to months and even years of fighting, arguing, and hitting dead ends. Tamar recognized that if communication was handled with more empathy, compassion, and attention to the emotional roller coaster involved in it could help couples move through the process more seamlessly. An amicable experience is better for everyone, most importantly, children.
This can be you. It doesn't have to be hard. It doesn't have to be ugly. It can work for you. Contact Tamara if you want to do divorce a better way.
