Today I had the chance to sit down with Malinda Daniel, who is the Director of Academic Advising at South Piedmont Community College. We met a few years ago while attending the Social Justice Training Institute in Long Beach CA, and it was really great to catch up with her, hear about the things she has been doing for the past few years, and the things she is doing to work toward balance. We talked about reading, playing outside, riding horses, nature, family, travel, law school, Africana Studies, making meaning, family support, and stress. We also talked about Jeopardy, partners, relaxing, pets, food, TV, trivia, technology, reading, commuting, and a whole lot more!
