    Say it again! “Rejooooooice!”
    Philippians 4:4 NLT
[4] Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice!
    1 – Don’t worry, pray!
    Philippians 4:6a NLT
[6] Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
    Philippians 1:3-4 MSG
[3-6] Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart.
    2 – Stay thankful
    Philippians 4:6b NLT
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
    Philippians 4:7 NLT
[7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
3 – Focus on what is good
    Philippians 4:8 NLT
[8] And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
4 – Keep an obedient heart
    Philippians 4:9 NLT
[9] Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
    Life Group Questions and Prayer:
1 – How can worry undermine our joy?
2 – How does thankfulness set us up for joy?
3 – What should we do to move towards joy in 2015?

This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. [19] Joseph, her fiancé, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. [20] As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. [21] And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
    Jesus = “the Lord saves”
    It’s all Jesus.
John 3:16 NLT “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.“
John 3:16 AMP For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
Fully restored to Gods intended design
Matthew 1:21 NLT And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Moving powerfully and joyfully into destiny through Jesus saving grace
2 Timothy 1:9 NLT For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time-to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

    Luke 15:11-24 (NLT)
To illustrate the point further, Jesus told them this story: “A man had two sons.12 The younger son told his father, ‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.
13 “A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living.14 About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve.15 He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.16 The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything.
17 “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger!18 I will go home to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you,19 and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”‘
20 “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.21 His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son.
22 “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet.23 And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast,24 for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.

    Matthew 3:16-17 (NLT)
After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened* and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him.17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.
    4 Gifts
    Luke 15:22-24 (NLT)
22 “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began.
John 1:12 (NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Please take me on as a hired servant.”‘
God told us: ‘I am Love’ (wu si er)
    1 John 4:16 (NLT)

    -Jesus is Grace
(Titus 2:11) For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
(Luke 23:33-34) When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. (34) Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
    3 actions of Grace
    1. Grace in (receiving grace)
    -Key action –Salvation
(Ephesians 2:7-9) In order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (8) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— (9) not by works, so that no one can boast.
    2. Grace within (the supernatural action of grace at work in us)
-Key action -Thankfulness to the glory of God
(2 Corinthians 4:15) All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
    3. Grace working outwards
-Key action -Working out of your ‘grace zone’
(1 Corinthians 15:10) But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
(Ephesians 2:10) For we are God’s handwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
    Life Group Questions and Prayer
    1. Do you know Grace? Share a bit.
    2. Is this grace in you expressed in thankfulness and joy in life?

1 – Let God’s design for marriage fill you with excitement and vision
Genesis 2:18,21-25 NLT Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” [21] So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. [22] Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. [23] “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” [24] This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. [25] Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.
2 – Chase after Jesus, and find your partner on the same journey
Matthew 6:33 NLT Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Amos 3:3 NLT Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?
3 – Guard your relationship with the right boundaries
1 Corinthians 6:12,18 NLT You say, “I am allowed to do anything”-but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. [18] Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
1 John 1:9 NLT But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
    Life Group Questions and Prayer:
1 – How is Gods plan for marriage different to the worlds?
2 – Why is it so important we have the right vision for marriage?
3 – What are some practical boundaries we can set up to guard our relationships?

    Acts ‭16‬:‭25-33‬ NLT
Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off! The jailer woke up to see the prison doors wide open. He assumed the prisoners had escaped, so he drew his sword to kill himself. But Paul shouted to him, “Stop! Don’t kill yourself! We are all here!” The jailer called for lights and ran to the dungeon and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household. Even at that hour of the night, the jailer cared for them and washed their wounds. Then he and everyone in his household were immediately baptized.
    1. Fill your mouth with praise instead of complaints
    Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14-15‬ NLT
Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
    2. Embrace the season you are in instead of wishing for the next season
    Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ NLT
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
    3. Fullfill the purpose of God no matter what season you are in
    Acts 16‬:‭31-32‬ NLT
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in h your household.” And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household.
