    *How can I become secure?*
    Matthew 3:13-17 NIV
[13] Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. [14] But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?”
3:13-17 Chinese Union Version Modern Punctuation (Traditional) (CUVMPT)
[15] Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. [16] As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
    15 耶穌回答說:「你暫且許我,因為我們理當這樣盡諸般的義[a]。」於是約翰許了他。 16 耶穌受了洗,隨即從水裡上來。天忽然為他開了,他就看見神的靈彷彿鴿子降下,落在他身上;
[17] And a voice from heaven said, *“This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”*
1 - He has chosen me forever.
2 - He loves me forever.
    Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT
And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. [19] May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
3:18-19 Chinese Union Version Modern Punctuation (Traditional) (CUVMPT)
3 - He is pleased with me forever.
    Colossians 1:21-22 NLT
This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies (there was nothing I could do to fix the problem) , separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. [22] Yet now he has reconciled (where there once was space there is NO space) you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
1:21-22 Chinese Union Version Modern Punctuation (Traditional) (CUVMPT)
    Hebrews 4:16 - NLT
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
4:16 Chinese Union Version Modern Punctuation (Traditional) (CUVMPT)

Luke 10:38-42 NIV[38] As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. [39] She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. [40] But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” [41] “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, *“you are worried and upset about many things,* [42] but few things are needed---or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is *better*, and it will not be taken away from her.”

    Philippians 3:8-9 NLT
[8] Yes, *everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.* For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ [9] and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith.

    1 Corinthians 16:5-7 NLT
[5] I am coming to visit you after I have been to Macedonia, for I am planning to travel through Macedonia. [6] Perhaps I will stay awhile with you, possibly all winter, and then you can send me on my way to my next destination. [7] This time I don't want to make just a short visit and then go right on. I want to come and stay awhile, if the Lord will let me.

    Acts 16:6-10 NLT
[6] Next Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time. [7] Then coming to the borders of Mysia, they headed north for the province of Bithynia, but again the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to go there. [8] So instead, they went on through Mysia to the seaport of Troas. [9] That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, "Come over to Macedonia and help us!" [10] So we decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there.

(2Corinthians 3:13-18 NKJV) unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. (14) But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. (15) But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. (16) Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (17) Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (18) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord
Christian life is supernatural - always!

(Ezekiel 36:26-28 NKJV) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (27) I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (28) Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

(John 3:1-8 NKJV) There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. (2) This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” (3) Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (4) Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” (5) Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (7) Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ (8) The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

    Increasing our capacity
    Exodus 18:13-23 NLT
[13] The next day, Moses took his seat to hear the people's disputes against each other. They waited before him from morning till evening. [14] When Moses' father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he asked, "What are you really accomplishing here? Why are you trying to do all this alone while everyone stands around you from morning till evening?" [15] Moses replied, "Because the people come to me to get a ruling from God. [16] When a dispute arises, they come to me, and I am the one who settles the case between the quarreling parties. I inform the people of God's decrees and give them his instructions." [17] "This is not good!" Moses' father-in-law exclaimed. [18] "You're going to wear yourself out-and the people, too. This job is too heavy a burden for you to handle all by yourself. [19] Now listen to me, and let me give you a word of advice, and may God be with you. You should continue to be the people's representative before God, bringing their disputes to him. [20] Teach them God's decrees, and give them his instructions. Show them how to conduct their lives. [21] But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. [22] They should always be available to solve the people's common disputes, but have them bring the major cases to you. Let the leaders decide the smaller matters themselves. They will help you carry the load, making the task easier for you. [23] If you follow this advice, and if God commands you to do so, then you will be able to endure the pressures, and all these people will go home in peace."
