Jesus’ full and humble servant-love for his people is the ground of and motivation for our humble and loving service toward one another.

Jesus came with a mandate from the Father. Preach words that lead to eternal life. The words are words of life. Follow them, and know life; reject them, and reject life.

For so many, our love for this world overrides our love for God. Therefore, we either do not believe, or we do not believe enough.

As Nehemiah and his countrymen prayed to God and posted a guard, let us strive in 2023 to be a church that prays, and then aftr praying, does the work necessary to see those prayers come to pass.

Why did God become Man? To save sinners like the apostle Paul...and sinners like us. God is exceedingly patient with those for whom he sent his Son to save.

In the incarnation, God the Son came to sanctify and set free his brothers and sisters from the fear of death and death itself through his sufferings. Marvel in this!

God became Man in order that we might be heirs of His kingdom.

The birth of Jesus of Nazareth is a sign to us. God dwells with us in his Son. We have become a visited planet, with an immanent God. God is with us! If you know him, live like it.

God became Man to speak a final word to us concerning the Father, and to purify us from our sins.
