  • These Things Will I Do Unto Them
The sermon explores the prophecy in Isaiah 42, highlighting how God's sovereign plan involves both the temporary casting off of Israel and the extension of the gospel to the Gentiles. It emphasizes that God's works of providence and grace are often mysterious and contrary to human wisdom, as seen in the lives of biblical figures like Joseph and Job. The message asserts that despite the darkness and crooked paths believers may face, God's intentions remain merciful and gracious, ultimately leading to light and straightness. Listeners are encouraged to trust in God's unchangeable purpose, recognizing that He will not forsake His people and will bring all things to pass for their good and His glory.

  • The Will to Know | John 7:14-24
Sermon | John 7:14-24 | Sunday Morning Service, September 27, 2026. Preacher: Ps Rocky Stevenson This sermon examines Jesus' teaching in the temple during the Feast of Booths, focusing on the distinction between divine and human authority. The central argument posits that recognizing the voice of God is a matter of the will rather than the mind, asserting that those willing to do the Father's will will understand Jesus' teaching. The text contrasts Jesus, who speaks for the Father's glory without unrighteousness, with religious leaders who judge by appearance and reject the light due to their own moral resistance. Ps Rocky challenges the audience to examine their own hearts, urging them to submit to Christ's authority rather than seeking intellectual certainty before faith. Ultimately, the message calls for a surrender of the self-protective will to receive the righteousness of Jesus. • Travel Light
Should we consider spiritual detachment from worldly comforts and distractions, as a means to serve God? Are believers called to immediate obedience rather than delay? Can we admit we tend to believe security is found in material or emotional safety nets, rather than in risky and unpredictable episodes related to serving God? Please listen to "TRAVEL LIGHT" by Pastor Jamie to find where true security is and where it is not.

  • WHEN THE CHURCH MAKES JESUS HARD TO SEE
WHEN THE CHURCH MAKES JESUS HARD TO SEE.[WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OUR WALK DOESN'T MATCH OUR TALK?] TITUS 1:15–16; MATTHEW 5:16 KJV Titus warns of those who "profess that they know God; but in works they deny him." An inconsistent Christian testimony can make it harder for children, co-workers, neighbors, and unbelievers to see Christ clearly. Yet Christianity is not about pretending believers never fail. David confessed, Peter wept, and the prodigal arose and went home. The world doesn't need Christians who pretend they never sin; the world needs Christians who refuse to make peace with their sin. This post-revival message challenges the church to move from profession to practice, from conviction to change, and from merely telling people about Jesus to letting them see Christ reflected through our lives. Revival isn't proved by what happened during the meeting. Revival is proved by what changes after the meeting."LORD, CLEAN THE WINDOW—AND LET THEM SEE JESUS."

  • The Conversion of Saul
Because Christ is the True Shepherd, He can convert people like Saul. 1. Christ changed Saul from sinner to believer. (v.1-9) 2. Christ commanded the welcome of Saul. (v.10-16) 3. Christ did more than convert Saul, but then also called him as apostle. (v.17-19) What is God able to do? What can God show a person? Psalm 16:11 How much is God capable of accomplishing? Eph. 3:20 What is the OT vision of the NT church? Isaiah 11:6

  • Spectating Isn’t the Service You’re Called To
In John 12:20–36, a group of Greeks came with a simple request: "Sir, we would see Jesus." But Jesus quickly moves the conversation beyond simply seeing Him. He speaks of the grain of wheat that must fall into the ground and die, of following Him, of serving Him, and of walking in the light. Jesus said, "If any man serve me, let him follow me." There is a difference between watching what Christ is doing and answering His call to serve. Spectating may keep us close to the action, but Christ calls His people to follow Him. Join Pastor Ed Decker at Arnold Baptist Tabernacle for this message from John 12:20–36, preached on the church's 54th Anniversary Sunday.

  • Darkness
This sermon explores the theological significance of the darkness that covered the land during the second half of Jesus' crucifixion, as recorded in Matthew 27:45. The speaker argues that this event was a supernatural act of God fulfilling Old Testament prophecies, particularly Amos 8, and serves as a profound symbol of spiritual realities. The darkness represents the weight of human sin, the severe affliction of the Messiah, the wrath of divine judgment, the power of demonic forces, and the reality of death. By enduring this darkness in place of sinners, Jesus the Creator and Light of the World defeats these powers and secures salvation for believers. The message concludes with the assurance that through Christ's sacrifice, believers are called out of the darkness of sin and ignorance into the marvelous light of God's salvation.

  • Awake and Put on Christ
The believer's life is defined by an urgent eschatological wakefulness. Because our salvation draws nearer than when we first believed, we must cast off the works of darkness—spiritual laziness, misguided priorities, and strife—and clothe ourselves in the armor of light. This is not a call to legalism, but a response to grace. By putting on the Lord Jesus Christ, we further crucify the sinful nature and cease making provision for the flesh.
