On the show this week, Carol and Geraldine chat all the about the rewind festival. It was an amazing day out. The music and energy; it was a lovely experience to be a part of. It was like being at a school disco back in the day, but as adults. We also chat about what is coming up in season 5.

On this week's episode, it's the first time that the three of us are together! In this special season finale, we have decided to celebrate the second act of life we are all currently in. We share our experiences, offer wisdom, and encourage you all to embrace your second act. Spoiler alert: Geraldine talks about the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces and it gets Carol in the feels! Sara discusses one of her favourite books, 'Women Who Run with the Wolves' by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
We have our usual wins and not wins.
Song of the week: Carol's choice.
See you all soon!

On this week's show, Carol and Sara discuss that time of year that is upon us again; the run-up to the leaving cert. We have decided to jump on board and offer a show full of support to everyone involved in this year's exams. It is not just the students battling in the high stakes and pressure of the leaving cert battle field. The mammy and daddy bears are right there in the trenches providing support, patience, a lot of lifts, and tons of food, so a big shout out to you all, and may the force be with you!
We have our usual wins and not wins (Sara dominates this week with micro greens and Dave the parcel man).
Song of the week: Carol, AGAIN!

It's Carol and Geraldine this week! We chat all about habits; Carol feels uncomfortable discussing her bad one but Geraldine calls her to account as she is quite open about hers.
We also chat about the fact that we live in a beautiful country, but how much of it have we actually seen?
Also, Carol has a notion to go to the match-making festival in Lisdoonvarna this September. Geraldine has been there a few times and is up for it, for the craic, like!
We get caught so up talking about matchmakers on Tik Tok and a Physic artist who will draw your fella that we forget the song of the week!

Sara is back this week and we are diving into the wild world of the of the menopause again. Oh, how the tables have turned! Now, it's Carol who is feeling the effects and wants to talk about it, as Sara sits back with a knowing smile. Carol thinks it’s a twisted, grown-up version of being a teenager. Join us as we chat all about the hormone changes that we went through as teenagers and the ones we are going through now.
Also on this week's show, have you ever been in the middle of a conversation, only to have a friend swoop in cutting you off mid-sentence with their own drama? You find you’re saying to yourself, “will you let me finish”? We've all been there, left trying to get the chance to finish what we initially wanted to say. Have you fallen victim to this and how do you deal with this?
Its a busy show today!

Join us this week as we chat about friendship, particularly when we lose touch by choice. This is 'the slow fade' as mentioned by Geraldine.
We all like a snack but what about a friendship snack that can be very nourishing when life is busy? Listen in to find out about this no-calorie snack!
The weekend; how do you spend yours? We share what we like to do.
Also, Carol is fascinated by the media coverage of the Netflix TV show, Baby Reindeer, even though she has not seen it.

Join us this week as we chat about how sometimes acceptance can feel like you are giving up. Can we be the kings and queens of wishful thinking?
Also, what is something from your childhood or teenage years that no longer exists but you wish it did? It's all about nostalgia this week.
So sit back and relax as we ponder how green the grass really is.

Join us this week as we uncover the nights of the sleepless warriors, from tossing and turning to counting sheep. Then the next day walking around in a lack of sleep coma. We also discuss revenge bedtime procrastination: this is when after a busy day you stay up late for some 'me' time rather than go to sleep at a reasonable hour.
Remember, coffee is your best friend today... and maybe tomorrow, too!
Stay strong, sleepless warriors!

Episode 5 will be up early on Thursday morning! In the meantime, here is a little teaser of what's ahead.
Trouble sleeping and revenge bedtime procrastination, we are exhausted !!

On this week's show, we went on a road trip to Youghal and recorded this special on-location episode.
The incessant rain and never-ending winter are driving us mad, so we are going all 'Thelma and Louise' (minus the driving off the cliff part). What better place to go than where it all started to celebrate what has become our canon event? Want to know what a canon event is? We've got you covered!
We also discuss our anti-bucket list: the things we don't want to do before we die.
So buckle up and join us on our road trip to Youghal.

Like You Like Me is a friendship podcast. Sara and I have been friends for eight years and this is an extension of our friendship.

After 2 years of trying different styles of potential podcasts, it never quite hit the mark until my friend, Sara, agreed to be my co-host. I hit the jackpot! We figured out a format and spent months brainstorming, practicing, recording episodes(that we didn't air), and learning each week.
Here we are finally !
We would like this show to be a celebration of friendship. We want our listeners to feel included and relate to our conversations, perhaps having similar chats with their friends as well.
How lucky am I and thank you, Sara.
Carol
