Winter is here (ugh). The clocks have gone back and we have gained an hour in bed but we are still automatically waking up at 6.30AM, so instead of thinking that you will have more energy it actually feels more exhausting. It's kind of a scam which makes us consider what else is a scam.

We also look at the rise of paw-rents: since the pandemic people have gone super nuts for dogs.

We love dogs but has it gone to another level now? They are being treated like humans from clothes, to haircuts, to daycare for dogs. Where do we draw the line?

As usual, we have the ups of our wins and, of course, the downs of our not wins. And our Song of the Week: Sara's choice this time.

We are constantly checking in; connected to our phones, laptops and to the relationships in our lives. While we use our devices for planning and problem solving, being on them too much takes a toll. It's hard to imagine a day that we could actually take a step back from the connectiveness that has become the normal way we live in the world today.

Is it even possible to disconnected from it all? We are not talking about doing a disappearing act or moving to the woods, but we are starting to think that it is important to take a step back every once and a while. This isn't as easy and it sounds as we don't want to feel we are missing out either: a modern day dilemma. What's a girl to do?

Tuesday is Halloween, so we bring you our Spooktacular episode a few days earlier than normal this week!

On this week's episode, the topic of getting more cuddles has tumbled it's way back into the show. Sara's sister, Tami, suggested that we could get a cuddle from a professional. Yes there are peeps that train to become cuddle therapists, as in they lie down with and cuddle you for a fee. We wonder how would that go down here; would we consider going for one, are there cuddle therapists in Cork, what would it be like if Carol were a cuddle therapist?

Sara and Carol also chat about the mental loads that we all carry. Can the scales be balanced to a 50/50 spilt? We don't think so!

Also we discuss Carol's newest theory: not taking the snot (the snot being when someone gets snotty with you for no valid reason). Well, Carol got the snot last week and politely handed it right back to giver of said snot and she felt great afterwards.

We have the all the joys of our wins and, of course, the not wins (Sara's favorite section and Carol becomes moan manager again).
