Coachella is one of the biggest festivals in the world but what is it really about?
Beyond the music, the fashion, and the lights, there is something people rarely talk about. Why does Coachella feel the way it does and what do people experience after it is over?
In this video we look at Coachella from a different perspective and question what modern festival culture is actually shaping in us.
Is it just entertainment or something deeper? Is it worth it? Or should we invest our money into holy things?

Bible Verses:
Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. (John 6:55)
And whilst they were at supper, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke: and gave to his disciples, and said: Take ye, and eat. This is my body. And taking the chalice, he gave thanks, and gave to them, saying: Drink ye all of this. For this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many unto remission of sins. (Matthew 26: 26-28)

In this video, I share a real and honest Catholic life update… this season has been about letting go, friendship breakups, and trusting God even when I don’t fully understand His plan.
If you’re going through a time where everything feels like it’s changing, where God is asking you to move on, or where relationships are shifting this is for you. This is about obedience, faith over feelings, and choosing God even when it’s hard.
I didn’t expect things to unfold this way… but I know God is working, even in the uncertainty.

In this episode, we share why we will never leave the Catholic Church and what makes it different from every other denomination. We talk about what the early Christians believed, what true worship looks like according to Scripture, and why the Catholic Church remains the one, holy, and apostolic Church established by Jesus Himself. This conversation dives deep into the heart of Christianity and asks the questions that every believer wrestles with. What is truth? Where is the authority that Christ gave to His apostles? And why are so many people rediscovering the Catholic faith after years in non-denominational or Protestant churches? We also talk about the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Co-Redemptrix and Mother of God, and why Catholics honor her as the greatest example of obedience, purity, and spiritual motherhood. Her intercession and cooperation in salvation history reveal the beauty of authentic Christian devotion that has existed since the earliest days of the Church. You will hear about the power of the Eucharist, the continuity of apostolic authority, and the beauty of sacramental life that cannot be found anywhere else. If you have ever asked what separates the Catholic Church from other Christian traditions, this episode will give you clarity. For those seeking the truth about Church history, worship, Mary, and faith, this is a conversation worth hearing.Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/show/4C0MIygIMhwJrcHC3pfntP?si=4a4c59bd96674e39Apple Podcast : https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/lilies-among-thorns/id1815927361Contact us : https://linktr.ee/liliesamongthornsInstagram : https://www.instagram.com/liliesamongthornspod/

Christian women are rediscovering the power of modesty, veiling, and femininity. On this episode of Lilies Among Thorns, we explore why modesty matters today, how veiling allows the heart to be seen rather than the body, and how living modestly builds confidence, virtue, and spiritual strength.
In a culture that often dismisses modesty, Christian women are embracing the beauty of living with intentional humility and sacred dignity. This episode dives into the meaning and purpose of modesty and veiling, showing how these practices are not outdated rules but expressions of faith, virtue, and true femininity.
We examine the biblical and traditional roots of modesty, the symbolism of the veil, and practical ways for women to live modestly in modern life while remaining confident, engaged, and spiritually grounded. This conversation offers clarity, encouragement, and actionable insights for women seeking to reclaim a sense of sacred beauty, feminine dignity, and virtuous living.
Join the discussion and share your perspective on modesty, veiling, and Christian femininity. How do you practice modesty in your life today? Could embracing veiling or modest practices deepen your spiritual life, confidence, and sense of feminine grace?
Subscribe to Lilies Among Thorns for more episodes on modesty, Christian femininity, Catholic womanhood, and virtuous living. Small Note - It's completely valid to be sad, and dissapointed especially after you saw marriage with someone. A "Beck & Jade" relationship a few things left out : Our Lady of Fatima was an important part of the prayer process when praying for the restoration of my (Julie's relationship). I gifted him my missal with a third class relic of Our Lady of Fatima with the image of St.Jacinta with a note i had wrote for him a year before i saw him that i had under sleeping St.Joseph, part of the confidence i had was a child like joy that note read "Im giving you this because i'm confident it'll end up back with me under the same roof as me when i become your wife"When i met him we drove his mom back home, and she asked me to come in, and he said no, i think he had his mind made up then in that first hour after meeting me, he later apologized for not wanting me to go in, i really thought he must've thought i was ugly or my breath stank haha.He wasn't all that cold, at the end of the night of the wedding, (He had called me prior to my arrival saying it wasnt prudent for us to dance) so he never wanted to dance closely at the wedding, but when he drove me back to the hotel, he slow danced with me in the parking lot to a song he told me he wanted to dance with me 2 years earlier (little things i found romantic he remembered and didnt seem cold)I saw what i needed to see, God showed me and i blocked & unblocked his new girlfriend reason why is because sometimes i go back to my blocked list to check it & i dont want to go through it one day and i see her & him on a profile picture, id appreciate if she blocked me instead. I only ask God for my own sanity i never see a picture on my algorithm of him proposing or getting married. Ive seen enough. God bless. - J.

In this episode, we talk about what it truly means to surrender to God’s will when it doesn’t align with our own plans. Obedience isn’t easy when your desires feel so strong, but trusting God’s will over your own leads to peace, freedom, and deeper faith. We explore obedience in God’s will versus our own desires, how to surrender when God says no, and trusting God’s timing and plan for your life. We also discuss letting go of control, embracing spiritual humility, discernment, and seeking authentic spiritual direction for clarity. This episode touches on why birth control and cultural lies disconnect us from God’s design and how to find your true identity, purpose, and peace in Him. We also encourage you to seek authentic spiritual direction from Priests.
If you’re struggling to trust God’s will in your dating life, marriage, career, or daily choices, this conversation will encourage you to let go of control and surrender completely to Him.Subscribe for more Catholic and Christian content on faith, femininity, and spiritual growth.
