  • Revelation 1:9-20 | What Does Jesus Look Like? | Tim Lucas

Have you ever read Revelation and wondered, “What did I just read?” The Bible’s last book is filled with strange symbols and mysterious messages that confuse modern minds. In this masterclass, Pastor Tim Lucas breaks down Revelation verse-by-verse in a way that’s easy-to-grasp without watering down this powerful prophecy. Prepare to have your eyes opened and faith strengthened. Yes, you can read, see, and understand Revelation!

WEEK TWO: WHAT DOES JESUS LOOK LIKE?

In the Book of Revelation, we read the ONLY physical description of Jesus provided in the Bible. Nowhere else is Jesus described in minute, physical detail the way He is in Revelation, chapter one. And here’s the truth, it’s probably not what you’re imagining!

Jesus in Revelation isn’t the cute little baby in a Christmas cradle. Or the Good Shepherd holding a lamb. Or the bleeding Savior on a Cross. In the Gospels, we see Jesus in His humility. But in Revelation, we meet Jesus in His GLORY– holy and majestic, with eyes like blazing fire, feet like bronze glowing in a furnace, a sharp sword coming from His mouth, and a face shining like the sun. Woah! This is Jesus as you’ll see Him next!

And each detail about Jesus’ physical appearance is symbolic and reveals something about His character! As we read Revelation 1: 9-20 we will unpack the meaning of this Scripture verse by verse. What you’ll discover is that Jesus is literally awesome - as in awe inspiring!

Watch this powerful message from Pastor Tim Lucas, which is the second in a chapter-by-chapter masterclass unpacking the powerful prophecy of Revelation.

  • Revelation 2:12-17 | How Satan Attacks Your Faith | Tim Lucas

In Revelation 2:12-17, Jesus addresses the Church in Pergamum, a city where spiritual warfare raged on two fronts. On the outside, believers faced intense persecution from the pagan Roman culture. On the inside, false teachers infiltrated the church, leading many astray from the True Gospel. Pergamum was a stronghold for Satan, influencing religion, medicine, and politics–and Christians were under attack. Pergamum was on the front lines in a fierce battle for the hearts and minds of Believers.

How did Satan attack the Christians in Pergamum? And does he attack your faith today? He uses three deadly weapons to deceive and destroy:

    1) Persecution: This is suffering for the sake of Jesus. Your way of life is threatened–your job, your home, your family, even your life.

    2) Deception: This is believing a lie instead of the truth, like false teachings that compromise the truth of the Gospel.

    3) Seduction: Satan is good at making sin look beautiful. That’s what’s happening right now in America. We live in a country where the Church isn’t persecuted– it’s seduced by the world.

Satan attacked Christians 2,000 years ago and he’s still at work today. So, where might Satan be attacking your life and your faith? Are there areas where you’ve compromised truth for comfort? Jesus warns us—if you see sin, cut it off! With Jesus, you have the power to stand strong against Satan.

Watch this powerful message from Pastor Tim Lucas, which is the fifth in a chapter-by-chapter masterclass unpacking the powerful prophecy of Revelation.

  • Revelation 1:1-8 | How to Read the Book of Revelation | Tim Lucas

Have you ever read Revelation and wondered “What did I just read?” The Bible’s last book is filled with strange symbols and mysterious messages that confuse modern minds. In this masterclass, Pastor Tim Lucas breaks down Revelation verse-by-verse in a way that’s easy-to-understand without watering down this powerful prophecy. Yes, you can read and understand Revelation!

WEEK ONE: HOW TO READ THE BOOK OF REVELATION

The book of Revelation is often misunderstood. It’s not about fear–it’s about hope, victory, and trust in God’s master plan! Today, we want to help move your heart from confused to confident in Christ. From feeling anxious about the end of the world, to assured that Jesus has the victory!

First, you must learn HOW to read the Book of Revelation. This requires 3 special lenses: Historic, Symbolic, and Prophetic. Historic means what you’re reading literally happened. The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John while exiled on the island of Patmos. He was a real person who wrote actual letters to 7 real, historic churches that existed in Asia Minor around 96 A.D. Revelation is also Symbolic, filled with various sights, sounds, and colors that represent spiritual realities and we will decode them together. And Revelation is Prophetic, looking into the future and revealing what WILL happen next from God’s perspective. Prophecy equates to promises that are 100% guaranteed to happen.

As we read Revelation 1: 1-8, together, we will unpack its meaning verse by verse. Such as Revelation 1:7 where we read the prophecy of the central event of Revelation and the defining event of human history: The Second Coming of Christ! This prophecy unveils the glory of King Jesus: risen, reigning, and returning to make all things new.

As you watch with us, be encouraged. You may look around our world today and see wars, wildfires, earthquakes, and people rioting and it feels like chaos. But, Revelation reminds us that things in our world aren’t actually falling apart—they’re falling into place. Everything is going according to plan. God’s master plan! Revelation is a wake-up call from Jesus. A call to stand up and confront our culture today and live boldly for Christ! Will you be ready?

Watch this powerful message from Pastor Tim Lucas, which is the first in a chapter-by-chapter masterclass unpacking the powerful prophecy of Revelation.

  • How to Forgive What You Can’t Forget | Pray First Part 4

How do you forgive someone when you know you can never forget what they’ve done? When they don’t deserve it? And maybe if they’re still doing things that are unforgivable? The truth is, you can’t do it alone. You need the supernatural strength of God.

And maybe you don’t want to forgive them! What you need to realize is that forgiveness is your weapon. The victory you’re looking for is not in holding on to the hurt. Your victory comes when you’re released from it. That’s when you have FREEDOM! That’s when you can move from hurt to healing. From pain to peace.

So, ask yourself:: Who do you need to forgive? Forgiveness isn’t easy, but it’s the key to the abundant love God wants for your life.

Watch Pastor Kayra Monatñez’s message on how to forgive what you can’t forget.

  • How To Hear God’s Voice Through Prayer | Pray First Part 3

Do you feel like you're carrying the weight of the world, worrying about everything but praying about nothing? Scripture reminds us that to experience God’s peace and have less anxiety, we need more prayer—but what if prayer isn’t just talking? What if it’s about listening just as much as speaking?

Often, our prayer lives are filled with requests, complaints, and noise, leaving little room for silence to hear God’s voice. What if instead of asking, “What are you praying for?” we started asking, “What are you listening for?” Your ability to hear God impacts your ability to respond. It’s more crucial than your career, education, or any plans you’ve made for the future. The greatest factor in your life isn’t your goals but your ability to hear and obey.

Sometimes, hearing feels challenging—like silence when guidance is needed most. God’s voice comes through scripture, people, dreams, open doors, and even pain. Each method offers guidance, brings growth, and invites a deeper sense of purpose. Truly hearing requires creating space in life, silencing distractions, and being attentive to the quiet whispers that bring clarity and direction.

Watch this message from Pastor Todd Crews to learn more about how to tune into what God wants to reveal to you during prayer.

  • Learn How To Pray To God | Pray First Part 2

Do you know why so many of us struggle with prayer? Because we’ve been told to do it but not taught how. The Bible offers a simple pattern for prayer that you can follow: Praise, Purify, and Present.

Praise - Praise is thanking God for what He had already done in our lives. What blessings do you have? A good job? Healthy children? Food in the fridge? Starting prayer with praise shifts the focus from what we need to who God is. This week, before you ask for anything, thank God for past blessings.

Purify - Then, we want to prepare our hearts for God. That means, asking God to reveal anything in our lives that needs to change—bad attitudes, habits, or hurts—and let God cleanse us. When you’re honest with God (and yourself), it draws you closer to Him.

Present - The final step is bringing a gift to God. God asks us to offer ourselves as that gift —our thoughts, words, actions, and priorities. This means dedicating every part of our lives to Him, trusting Him with our jobs, families, and dreams. We present our needs to God and trust in Him to guide us!

By following this pattern of Praise, Purify, Present, we can cultivate a deeper, more meaningful connection in our spiritual lives. Prayer becomes more than a routine—it’s a personal exchange with a God who provides unconditional love and guidance.

Watch this message from Pastor Zachary Taylor to learn more about the pattern to take when praying.

  • The Power of Prayer & Fasting

Are you ready to see a breakthrough in your spiritual life? Throughout the Bible, we see that prayer and fasting are powerful tools to help you grow in your walk with God. Prayer is communicating with God, and fasting is when you deny yourself something physical (like food or screen time) to focus on God. When you combine these two spiritual practices, there is supernatural power that is released in the spiritual realm!

Here are 5 key steps to consider for a season of prayer and fasting:

    1. DECIDE ON A FAST TO COMMIT TO FOR 21 DAYS: Choose your fast: Daniel Fast (fruits, nuts, & vegetables only), skip a meal, or a digital detox (reduce screen time). Commit to your fast for 21 days and watch God work!

    2. DEVOTE YOURSELF TO PRAY FIRST: Start your day by praying, ideally on your knees, as a posture of humility and surrender. Fasting without prayer is just a diet, so be sure to combine your fast with intentional prayer!

    3. DEFINE YOUR TARGET: What are you praying & fasting for? Be specific! Ask God for a fresh revelation of Jesus or breakthrough in areas like a job, family, or healing.

    4. PREPARE FOR BATTLE: Fasting and prayer bring spiritual battles, but expect victory! Be patient and persistent like Daniel—God hears your prayers from day one.

    5. RELY ON GOD’S STRENGTH: Fasting weakens our physical state to strengthen our spiritual state. Remember that Jesus in you is stronger than any opposition or temptation that you face!

    6. Are you ready to unleash the power of prayer and fasting? Begin your 21-day and know that God is with you. Expect breakthroughs and a deeper connection with Him on this spiritual journey!

Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas to learn more about prayer and fasting and see what God can do in your life.

    7. How To Make Peace | Christmas Eve

Are you looking to make peace with those around you? The Bible tells us that on the first Christmas, the angels proclaimed peace on Earth when Jesus was born (Luke 2). However, today’s world is filled with conflict, making peace seem impossible. While we can't always make peace in the world, we can make peace in our homes and relationships by following Jesus' example. Jesus shows us how to have peace with God and others, teaching us that being a true Christian means actively making peace, not just avoiding conflict.

Here are five steps to making peace:

      1. Make the First Move: Don’t wait for others to fix things; take the initiative. Jesus teaches that reconciliation is more important than even worship

      2. Start with What’s My Fault: Instead of blaming others, begin by acknowledging your own mistakes. This helps humble you and opens the door for peace.

      3. Confess My Blind Spots: We all have weaknesses we can’t see. Recognize and admit your own faults before pointing out others' faults.

      4. Wrap the Truth in Love: When speaking truth, do so with kindness and empathy. The way you say something is just as important as what you say.

      5. Focus on Reconciliation, Not Resolution: Reconciliation is about restoring peace, even if you don’t agree on everything. It's more important to preserve the relationship than to resolve every disagreement.

      6. This Christmas, commit to making peace in your relationships, following Jesus’ example of reconciliation.

Watch this message from Pastor Tim Lucas to find out why peace is important and how you can have it with those around you.

      7. Jesus Is The Prince of Peace | His Name Shall Be Part 4

Did you know that the presence of Christ promises peace in the midst of crisis? This week, we conclude our December series “His Name Shall Be” at Liquid Church by exploring the four names given to Jesus in Isaiah 9:6. One of those titles is Prince of Peace—or “Sar Shalom” in Hebrew. Jesus isn’t just a symbol of peace; He’s the ultimate authority over all peace, offering wholeness, harmony, and flourishing to every area of life, even in the face of pain, fear and challenges. Christians are not exempt from the storms of life, but we can have hope because Jesus is our prince of peace in the face of life’s storms.

Jesus Gives Us Three Promises as The Prince of Peace:1) He reconciles us to God, canceling the power of sin and death.2) He will one day end all wars and global conflicts.3) He offers us well-being and flourishing forever.

The Scripture from Isaiah 9:7 reminds us, "Of the increase of his government and of peace, there will be no end." So, whether you’re facing heartbreak, loneliness, or crisis this Christmas, remember that Jesus is the prince of peace, and His supernatural peace is available to you. The presence of Jesus in your life can calm the storms of life that you face today and bring comfort in the midst of chaos.

The question is: Will you trust Him? Will you let Jesus’ voice bring peace to your fears?

Watch this message from Pastor Kayra Montanez to experience Jesus as the Prince of Peace.

      8. 4 Ways God Is The Perfect Father | His Name Shall Be Part 3

Our relationship with our fathers profoundly affects us. That’s why, when Jesus is revealed as another Father, our relationship with Him becomes even more personal. However, we often project our experiences with our earthly father onto our Everlasting Father, leading to misconceptions. So, what do we need to know about God the Father?

Your Father is Present: The name Immanuel means "God with us." Jesus reassured His disciples of His constant presence through the Holy Spirit. God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere at all times. This truth is especially comforting during the holiday season when loneliness peaks. Even if your earthly father was absent, your Heavenly Father is always present, emotionally and physically.

Your Father is Perfect: God's perfection means He is complete and makes no mistakes. Trusting in God's perfection helps us rely on His plans rather than our feelings. Life's challenges may make us feel off course, but God’s timing and plans are always perfect. This Christmas, trust not only in God’s love and power but also in His perfection.

Your Father is a Protector: The Bible frequently describes God as a shield, offering protection, shade, and shelter. Sometimes, God’s protection is evident in closed doors and unanswered prayers, safeguarding us from harm and poor decisions. We often realize the extent of His protection only in hindsight, acknowledging His guidance and care throughout our lives.

Your Father is a Provider: God delights in providing for His children, whether it's comfort in sorrow, healing in sickness, or wisdom in decision-making. He doesn’t just meet our physical needs but also our spiritual needs, offering grace and forgiveness through Jesus’ sacrifice.

Watch this message from Pastor Todd Crews to experience Jesus as an Everlasting Father.
