But when I got a little older, my friend Tommy told me he made the story up just to scare me since I was so much younger than he was. He knew I was a scaredy-cat and would probably have nightmares. Boy was he right: I had so many nightmares about that cemetery that I wouldn't step foot on that dirt road if you gave me a million dollars. Now that I'm so much older now and not afraid of any ghosts. I think it would be pretty cool to check out the cemetery I was so afraid of so long ago," explained David.

Doug answered, "Well, since we're all here and there have been no exciting ghost sightings, we may as well check out the cemetery for any witches."

Doug drove the car down the old dirt road and as he approached the location of the cemetery he said, "Look I think I saw something by one of the tombstones. It's probably nothing."

Karen laughed and said, "It's probably one of the witches welcoming us to the cemetery."

Sad

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There is nothing that wouldn't have made it better. The stories were immature and amateur in writing and composition. The performance made me feel like I was being talked down to and was questioning my intelligence. Overall I felt like it was an immense waste of time I could have spent on another book.

Steven started laughing and said, What's the matter scaredy cat? Afraid the old man might get you. Jimmy replied, That's not funny, you scared the crap out of me. Steven said, You should have seen the look on your face, scaredy Cat. Quit calling me scaredy cat. I'm going to tell Mom on you, said Jimmy in a frightened voice. Go right ahead! Scaredy Cat! Scaredy Cat! I can't believe you're that scared to go into the woods. You're the biggest chicken I've ever met in my life, exclaimed Steven. No I'm not! I'll prove it to you. I'll go right now, said Jimmy in a shaky voice. I'll be waiting, just to make sure you don't chicken out, laughed Steven. Jimmy set off into the dark thick forest all alone.

Terrible short story

It reads like something a 10 yr Old makes up around the campfire....what a piece of garbage this story was....

Disturbing

People are warned of the woods and not to enter them, least they meet terrible fate. Hmm.... I think I want to hike in the wooded area close to my home. ;)

Just as they were all singing along with the radio, rain came pouring down. Tommy was having a hard time concentrating on the road, because of the loud music and laughter coming from Susie and Karen in the back seat. Jack was too busy handing out beers to notice that danger was on the way.

The rain was really pouring, and Tommy should have pulled off to the shoulder of the road and waited for the rain to stop before proceeding. But he just kept driving at high speed and drinking beer. Suddenly, a driver on the other side of the road lost control, causing Tommy's car to skid off the road and hit a tree head on.

Susie was the only passenger who was not wearing a seat belt. She was ejected from the car and hit the tree head first, decapitating her. Susie's unfortunate circumstances made her an urban legend of Hill Haven road.

Good, but not great

A good read, but not great; there is just too many stories like this, they all seem to blend together.

The ghost of hill haven road

A very short story. I found it to be a neat read. The author wrote the story in a straightforward, easy to read manner. I liked the end. Maybe, this story is true. It is short so, I recommend reading it and see what you think. A lot of these type of ghost stories have been written.

There is nothing to this book unless your 3 years old, about this story, It's a nice 2 minute read if your really bored.

I could have been more detailed to make it more scarier! But it was pretty good even makes me wanna go see if I can see any ghost there
