Publisher's Summary:
No one does the holidays like Linda Lael Miller, whose Christmas novels have warmed the hearts of millions of readers the world over!
Charlotte Morgan grew up in Mustang Creek, Wyoming, and couldn't wait to escape to the big city. But life in New York isn't as fabulous as she'd like to admit - she's lonely, doing a job she doesn't love and dating too many frogs she meets online. There was one potential prince, though - Jaxon Locke, a veterinarian with definite possibilities - but his move to Idaho to fill in at his dad's vet practice ended things just as they were getting interesting. What Charlotte doesn't know is that he misses her more than he expected.
Meanwhile, Charlotte's great-aunt Geneva - the woman who raised her - needs to enter an assisted-living facility. So, just before Christmas, Charlotte moves back home. When Jax catches wind of her move back West, he's determined to get to Wyoming and do whatever it takes to win her back.
Christmas in Mustang Creek is a magical time in a magical place, not least because of a mysterious visitor named Mrs. Klozz. She knows that love is the greatest gift of all, and she's ready to help out Santa by giving these two a push in the right direction!

Charming and Delightful
This is a very sweet and charming story. Just perfect for an afternoon with a cup of tea. The read is fast and totally engaging. Linda Lael Miller is an excellent writer and as always this reader wasn't disappointed. The story line is simple with two people with a history reconnecting and realizing that being together is right for them. Plus you get to touch base with the other couples of from the series, The Brides of Bliss County. The twist is who is Mrs. Klozz? Well it is a Christmas story so not too hard to figure. Sound contrived? No way, as Miller is one of the few authors who can carry this off and never be hokey. A delight!
Good read
Linda at her best. It's funny, romantic, and touches on a subject next to my heart, dementia. (My dad is in full blown dementia right now.) The hero's career was very familiar to me. I worked in a veterinary clinic for 16 years. The book was definitely too short. Like all of Linda's books, I wanted to keep reading more about the characters. Highly recommend.
Christmas in Mustang Creek
Charlotte met Jax while living and working in New York City. They dated for awhile. He had to go home to help his dad with the veterinary business, after dad had a heart attack. When he was free to leave again, he looked for and got a vet
Job in Mustang Creek because he had heard Charlotte had list her job and was going home.
From the minute they met each other at the motel, things were strange, mystical and sort of out of control and it seemed to have something to do with Charlie's aunt's friend, Mrs. Klaus.
A fun story and I would definitely recommend reading it.
Really charming and sweet stand alone holiday novel set in Mustang Creek
The themes of love, family, tradition, and caring are present and clear. However, what really shines through is Miller's love and respect for animals. From treating a winter snake bite to adopting the most perfect Christmas gift, animals are loved throughout the book. So too, are traditions, family, close friends, heirlooms, farm houses, and Mrs Klotz are cherished and loved all through this book.
