Wish the author would lay off the foul language...Really, if you want to truly educated independent women of today, give them an actual vocabulary!! I would not could not listen to these books without a headset and would not share with many of my friends and older children because of the language!

In Accidentally Demonic we get to finally met Wanda long lost sister Casey. Unfortunately it begins with Casey calling Wanda from jail. But that is just the beginning of Caseys problems. Seems Casey has a little problem with fireballs, floating, horns and a very hot vampire.

Clayton has been living a lie for years. Okay more like centuries. But when he thinks has a way to rid himself of his demons he jumps at it. Sadly, things didn't go according to plan. Now Clays problems include the cute Casey Schwartz.

Another fun book from Ms. Cassidy. I really liked Casey and Clays story. At times the story was a little slow. And there were a few times that I thought to myself What why is this happening? or When did that rule change? But as the story went on I did get my questions answered. Looking forward to the next story in this series.

As always Ms. Mitchell does a great job. My only issue with this audio version was there was a lot of yelling that does not translate very well.

Way Too Predictable...

I really wanted to like this series. The premise is fun and lighthearted. Prefect for when you're looking for some fluff. Unfortunately, I had to force myself through the third book, fast forwarding a lot and not missing a thing. Also, while pretty much all books in this genre have a "romantic" element, the scenes in this series fall way short of romantic and land squarely in the raunchy category.

Funny/touching trip back to your 20s

Bea captures what it's like to have your first halting experiences with sex during college, with a twist: since she's a future scientist, she and her partner in crime, Peter, approach the process as a lab experiment. She sets out to control everything controllable, and even hypothesizes about possible outcomes. The joke, of course, is that how they both feel about their experiences, and about each other, isn't so easily controlled, quantified, or understood. She's right that this will always be a "baseline experience." But how she sees it emotionally will change from minute to minute, and will continue to evolve into a future where there are more experiences to compare it to.

Kells seamlessly creates an endearing character making an earnest effort to understand herself. Bea is believable, relatable, and yet totally original.

What a cute look into the mind of a nerd-like college girl as she goes through her first sexual experiences with a guy who is not only a "nerd", but is also at her same level of sexual experience. They are looking at these experiences in a very clinical manner until some feelings finally begin to take over.

It's sweet. Two virgins trying to figure out what pleases each other sexually.

This does not end with a cliffhanger.

A sweet story about discovering sex, and about writing about discovering sex...

This story features some really poignant "coming of age" details, from the contemporary (the excitement of being called to go out on a date, rather than texted) to the timeless (tension in the differences between male and female arousal). The author treats the themes with an open-eyed tenderness, conveying sexual discovery in a universally relatable way that belies the uniqueness of human experience.

Charming story about sexuality

Bea's Notes reminded me of how I felt during my early twenties, when you've moved on from being amazed that you're finally *doing it* and are now concerned with *how* you're doing it. A charming and funny first book. I look forward to the next.

Sexy and fun!

Well written sexy and fun character study of a young college student discovering herself. You'll want to spend more time with Bea and her beau. Kells has an ear for dialog and an eye for the sharp detail to make a scene feel real.

While I enjoyed the previous book immensely, I appreciated that there was less 'man sex' in this one. By that I mean graphic, unrealistic, and storyline disrupting erotica. I still love that the main character is a strong woman who feels with her senses, especially smell. The neurobiological - musical descriptions were also a lot of fun.

Read the first book first

Mystery, fantasy, magic, and music with a bit of bedroom fun and frolic. What if we could see the past and still be in the present.

Good book!

After enjoying the first book so much I was worried as to how the author would continue the story. After finishing though, I have been left with a good sense of closure that you don't often get with sequels. Very good series.

I finished this book thinking that Rose had no redeeming qualities. She did not deserve Quinn and her behavior honestly ruined this story for me. Was this Folson's intention?

An interesting twist!!

This was not quite what I was expecting. In the first 5 books everyone found their mate. In this one Quinn not only knew Rose, but he had married her when they were both human. But they only had 1 night together, now 200 years later Rose needs Quinn's help. All that time Quinn thought Rose was dead. Now he almost lets his pain and hurt keep them apart now other then the "Job." While their story is interesting, the most interesting part for me was when Thomas faces his Sire. I look forward to Thomas's story.

Good story, yummy narrator

This is mostly the story of the two lovers reunited, those are not my favorite sort. I prefer to see a love story from the very first meeting. So, my general dislike of the premise definitely colors my review and ratings. It was a good book but my own prejudice made it less enjoyable than others in the series.

Quinn is a great character and I loved him in the last book. The way he handled things was a interesting. He was far more understanding with Rose than most men would in a similar situation.

I was not a fan of Rose, from her rejection of Quinn in the past to the way she handles current events. She let her own fears and ignorance ruin things, then compounded her mistakes along the way. Had she taken a moment to think at any point along the way so much heartache could have been avoided, but then we would not have a book either.

The story was really well done and I am sure if you are into the premise you will enjoy. It was slightly non-linear with flashbacks mixed into the present day story. They were very well placed and helped keep suspense in the story. It is also great that you get both Rose and Quinn's POV on events. I prefer that because you get a more well rounded story.

Fan Freakin Tastic!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I am not a very descriptive person but, WOW! I loved the Gargoyle angle. Right now everything seems to be centered on a Werewolf or Vampire. There are a mixture of races which gives me hope for this series. This is one of the few books that didn't point you to the answer in the first hour of the book and I enjoyed every minute of it. There were a lot of sub stories that didn't overwhelm the book or take over the story. There was just enough to let you know that there is a lot more going on than just this initial story. The heroine was a little weak, but her over protective family clearly showed you why. You get past that and the romance that builds between Terrick and Larrissa gives the story a chance to develop gradually instead of prematurely climaxing and throwing a lot of ridiculous misunderstandings in the way of an actual story. Or lots of sex. which is very irritating when you would like to understand the story itself. I liked it because I didn't have to spend 8 out of the 9 hours and 57 minutes listening the same sex positions in just about everyone's book. Thank you Danielle for giving us an actual tale to follow.!

I LOVE Tavia Gilbert. I buy most books narrated by her because she is very good at giving characters their own voices in the stories she narrates.

This book was great. I read it first in print but Tavia Gilbert really brings something to the telling of the story.

Very Good!

I really like this one. I love the way she puts history and fiction into her storys. And of course the bit of history behind the characters at the end is always a big bonus for me...

I didn't like the jump back in time

Even though the recollection of the events weren't extremely detailed, the biggest part of the plot of this story was told in the previous books. This book went back in time, several years, from where the previous books ended. I found myself getting impatient to get through the flashback and get back to the more current time lines of the previous books. Perhaps, if I hadn't listened to the previous books, I would have enjoyed this book more. When the story got to the more current times of the previous books, I enjoyed the tale emensly. I'm thinking the next book will do the same thing and I'm a bit reluctant to start it.

Lots of desire

Keeping Paige is the story of a woman that is drugged and unwillingly thrust through a fairyring. Her adventure is just beginning after being thrown through the fairyring. The oracles have claimed that Sir Aidan must take a wife. He is waiting for the gods to give him one that he has earned. Aidan comes across the drugged Paige and they are quickly claimed, mated and sated. Paige spends the rest of the book caught between hot sex, lots of it, and trying to discover more about her new home and deciding if she wants to stay.

At one point she runs away and encounters the very evil creatures that Aidians people are fighting. Aidan manages to save her but leaves her in the hands of Edward. Edward is tasked with making sure that Paige made it back to the castle. I couldnt stand Edward and wanted to slug him. I almost hated Aidan for leaving her with Edward. Once back at the castle, Aidan must make the decision to public reclaim Paige as his wife.

You can just feel the desire that Paige and Aidan have for each other. The tension and drama in this book was not missed, even through all of the sex. Rebecca Cook did an excellent job in bringing Paige and Aidan to life along with emoting their feelings. This is the third book in the Divinity Warriors, but is a standalone read.

great story! well written

I love this series. This book book was great Its about a woman who gets kidnapped in her world and tossed into a fairy circle and ends up in the arms of a hot warrior. Sparks fly lol. Its s mix of trouble, miss understanding and hotness that will not denied! The ending is just beautiful. Its a must have!

Simply Awesome!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of First Bite to be better than the print version?

For me it is since I am legally blind. I can only enjoy audio books. I love them.

I love the different voices she makes. Sometimes it's hard to tell that only one persone is telling the story. She reminds me of Miss Ronconi they both have great vocal talent :)

I am kinda on the fence about this book. I liked the story line. I liked Neva & Travis and a few of the other side characters. Meredith is one crazy, evil, magic wielding bad guy. And all in all it was a good book, but there was just something a little off for me. Maybe be it was the timeline. Maybe it was Meredith and her getting the upper hands. Maybe it was my mood. Or maybe it was the narrator. I was not overly wild about the narrator at times she was a little too nasally for me and the audio book had some major fluctuations in the sound and quality of the book. Even with all I will be continuing this series to see what happens with Neva, Travis, Meredith and everyone else. But the next book I think I will read.

First Bite

This was an excellent story. Very imaginative with great characterizations. The narrator did a good job too, but who ever did the actual recording wasn't very good at it. You could hear where different recording sessions started & ended. Sometimes it sounded good & others it sounded like she was reading from the bottom of a well, all echo-y.

The story itself was enjoyable enough that I would read more in this series, but it was released in 2013 & I don't see a Book 2 anywhere. That's too bad.

This was an okay book. it left a lot of unanswered questions, so I'm assuming it's the first in a series.

Compelling, but I didn't like it!

Although I did get my happy ending I found this story very frustrating. Yes, there was a lot of action. Yes, the men where hunky, Yes the story was compelling. But the women never seemed to stand up for themselves. I was very irritated numerous times throughout the entire book because of this. It seemed that the misunderstandings were so manufactured. And you wanted to yell, "Get a freakin clue!" But that's just me. I kept thinking that the heroine and the supporting heroines would break out and stand up for themselves. Sadly, it didn't happen. I did get one good glimpse of that, but then she went back to covering her head in the sand.

I found myself reading other books in between listening to this one. So, I am not to sure if I would order another. But, hey, there is still hope. One of the sisters might just step up to the plate and grow a backbone :)

Better than first book, Yuk Narrator

Yeah, I still cant stand the narrator, but the story line is really good. Im getting the next book. This one was not boring like the first, more action, more chemistry in the main characters. Overall, just better. Im staying with it, still wish for better narration, but hey even second rate ones grow on ya after a couple of books. LOL

Refreshingly Different Paranormal Romance

Mandy Roth is a new author for me and I can say I enjoyed this paranormal story.I was intrigued from the beginning, although, I was confused at times. My confusion stemmed mostly during all the action in this book. Serious none stop action! There was almost too much going on. The heroine was constantly in battle with a multitude of creatures. They all want her mate, the prince of darkness, the one she actually hasn't met yet(so she thinks). The premise of the story was interesting and different. I don't want to give any major spoilers away. Lets just say the book had potential to be great. There were some problems with the story but none that destroyed my overall enjoyment of the book. My first problem with the story was sometimes the heroine acted really clueless. A guy shows up who carries some major similarities to your childhood love with the same first name, but with a different last name. It never occurs to you that it might be the same guy?? Really? The next issue is why did Exavier's mother keeping information from him all those years and why wasn't that explained further in the book. Either way, Exavier was extremely hot sexy and their chemistry was out of this world. Mates destined to be together even though everyone is trying to keep them apart. A nice refreshing plot with quirky characters, lots of action, sexual tension, magic, and all sorts of paranormal creatures. I will continue with the Tempting Fate series if it becomes available.

Unexpected Find! Totally awesome story!

I didn't expect this... But boy I am glad I found this... So close to 5 stars, but narration could have been a slight better... Although good and acceptable, I wish there was more of a distinction between male voices..

Ok.. The story started kinda off the wall with a werewolf attack... It was a bit confusing but the dialogue was so good u have to keep listening.. Then u find out more about the awesome heroine and u literally just cannot put this book down..

She is the mate if the dark fae prince, whom she has no idea who this prince is.. All manner of bad people r trying to kill her so the prince can't mate her...

In walks hotty Mac hotty lead singer of the band loup garou! Ok.. We all know something is up with him..
